If you use the Itemfinder on the EXACT spot where they were, a special item will be found which is usually very rare. You cannot find these items any other way. Get This By Doing This Soothe Bell Use Itemfinder where Mr. Fuji was in the Pokemon Tower. Leftovers Use Itemfinder where Snorlax was near Cycling Road and Silence Bridge. Get This By Doing This Diploma Fill National Dex completely -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen Version Easter Eggs: Pickup Truck Next to S.S.Anne If you use surf on the right of the harbor ( the walkway between the sailor that checks your ticket and the ship it self) and keep going to the right with surf, you'll see a pickup truck on a new harbor. If you go down to the bottom of the harbor and check around on the floor, you'll find a lava cookie! The way you do this is, DON'T go on the S.S.Anne, and DON'T Recieve CUT from the captain. You must recieve cut from a pokemon traded from a friend who has CUT, or get a friend who has CUT to teach one of your pokemon CUT. This way, it won't be nessesary to go on the S.S Anne. Later on when you learn surf, come back and the ship will still be there. Now you'll be able to use surf on the right of the harbor connecting to the S.S.Anne. Keep surfing right and you'll find the pick up truck -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shiny pokemon every time you encounter a pokemon you have a 1/8192 chance of the pokemon being a different color, this is called a shiny pokemon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon FireRed Version Glitches: Infinite Nuggets($$$$) In Cerulean City,(you have to only have the first badge and not have beaten the game yet) go to the bridge due north of the town and battle the four trainers. Instead of going and battling the last trainer and getting the nugget and moving on with your quest, go back to the pokemon center and deposit all your pokemon and withdraw a really bad pokemon(preferably level 10 or lower) and then go back and battle the fifth trainer. He will give you a nugget then battle you. Lose to him and then heal the weak pokemon and then go back and battle him again with only the weak pokemon. He gives you another nugget and then you battle him then lose. Repeat proccess till your loaded with nuggets. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon FireRed Version Secrets: How to avoid wild Pokemon. This only works on grass. Once you obtained CUT, you can cut the grass so you won't find any Pokemon. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More time in the Safari Zone In the safari zone , stand in any grassy area. Instead of moving left and right, just tap left or tap right so that your character turns but you dont move. By doing this, you'll still run into random encounters but your time in the safari zone will not decrease. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Determining Pokemon's feelings towards you. When you use an item on one of your Pokemon outside of a battle, such as a Potion, the Pokemon will either move closer or away from you in the short intermission sequence. How far the Pokemon moves depends on how much it likes you. If it does not move at all, it feels neutral. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another way to determine your Pokemon's feelings If you wish to know how your pokemon feels about you, just go to Pallet Town and visit Daisy (your Rival's sister), she'll look at the leader of your party and tell you how much he/she loves you. You can switch your roster to find out how much your party or other pokemon love you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quickly Catch The Legendary Beasts Follow these steps to quickly catch the Legendary Beasts 1. Buy 20 repels, any kind. 2. Get a Pokemon that's level 49 or lower and put it in the lead. 3. Go to the guard post that connects Route 11 and Route 12, near Diglett's Tunnel. 4. Enter the Guard Post and use a repel. 5. Exit the post - towards Route 11. 6. Walk around in the grass for about 20 steps. 7. If it doesn't appear, go back into the guard post. The location of the beast will reset. 8. Repeat steps 4 - 6 until it appears. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
