Welcome to Pokémon Island. Your mission whether you choose to accept it or not is to help Professor Oak finish his Pokémon Report. Oak will give you a role of 60 exposure film and it is your job to take pictures of all 63 Pokémon located on the island.
Lucky for you Oak designed this nifty Zero-One transport. It is pre-programmed with a special path that will take you through the different areas of the island. You'll stroll through the beach, through tunnels, down a river safari, and even by dangerous active volcanoes.
Oak will also give you special Pokémon food and Pester Balls which will help draw Pokémon out of their hiding places. Oak prefers pictures of Pokémon facing the camera and especially likes it when you can catch more than one of the same Pokémon in one frame and Pokémon performing their moves!
Blockbuster and Nintendo have teamed up to bring you en exclusive offer for Pokémon Snap. You can purchase a collectible Pokémon Snap Card for $3.00 (US) at participating stores. You put this card into the Pokémon Snap station and select 4 of your favorite snapshots from your photo gallery. If you don't like any of your snapshots you can pick from a gallery of 60 pictures built into the machine. You will then receive a printout of 16 stickers, perfect for trading with your buddies. If you are a Nintendo Power subscriber, the August '99 edition had a Pokémon Snap sticker album insertion big enough to hold 112 of your favorite stickers.
