Brock: Likes Rock Pokémon (Brock, rock)

Officer Jenny: Well, she's a police officer. That's all I know.
Jesse and James: Named after the cowboy robber, Jesse James, thus making them "Jesse and James."
Cassidy and Butch: No idea! Maybe also a cowboy robber?
Lt. Surge: Well, look at him! Army suit, electric Pokémon!
Erika: Erika means "gentle" and Erika is always this.
Sabrina: Remember "Sabrina the Teenage Witch?" She had powers, and so does the Gym Leader Sabrina.
Koga: Ninja name
Blaine: Blaine means "burn."
Giovanni: Uhhh....is he an opera singer?
