A boy named Satoshi Tajari has collected bugs, tadpoles, and other small creatures as a kid. As an adult, he remembered these times and thought of a game-Pocket Monsters. His friend, Ken Sugimori, created the Pokémon that we know and love. Satoshi made a big hit with the game-the first week sold 2 million copies. Satoshi had made two versions-red and blue.
Pokémon-Going USA
Soon, in spring 1999, Pokémon Blue and Red was released in America, and it sold big, also. Soon, toys, clothes, and newer games were being made.
Pokémon-The Show Opens!
Soon, a show aired on Fox in America. What else was it other than Pokémon? It was watched and the ratings went up.....then Kids' WB! took Pokémon from Fox.
Pokémon-It Sizzles
Pokémon is now becoming hotter and hotter.... Wheew....it's hot in here...
 Hey, Misty, what's your Squirtle saying about me now?
 Oh, hi Ash. There you are. He hasn't said anything.
 Yea, right. I know your Squirtle.
Squirtle: Hey, quit talking about ME. Your Squirtle is so stupid!
