Pokemon Walkthrough

OK!!.Pick your name. The real name for pokemon red is Ash. Well anyways, you start off in Ash's room. Go to your computer and withdraw your potion. Comes in handy. Ok now go downstairs.
Go outside and turn right. Go up on the screen. You see a patch of grass. Go on it. Pro. Oak will say it is too dangerous. Then he will take you to his lab. After he take you to his lab he will ask you to choose a pokemon. The best bet is Squirtle. I chose Squirtle the first game and then started over the next after i beat the game with Squirtle and used Bulbasaur. He's not as good as Squirtle though. Charmander is very hard to use. He's not so powerful until later. Well anyways, Gary will ask you to fight him. If you win, the pokemon gains a level. If you lose nothing really happens. You might loose money. So go back to the patch of grass where Pro. Oaks stopped you before.Go up North. Fight the pokemon in the way until they get weak. Go all the way to the north. The first guy you meet will be a worker from the Pokemart.
So he will give you a potion. Keep on going north. You will see a pokecenter. To the Northeast of that will be a pokemart. Go to the pokemart and you will recieve a package.Then go to the pokecenter to heal your pokemon.

Do not use a potion unless you really need to. Save them up for battling Brock.
Return back to Pro. Oak after you recieve his package and he will give you a Pokedex. YEAH!!!. After you get the Pokedex, Gary will talk. Snooze.Snooze. Well then, now that you have the pokedex, go to Gary's house. His sister will give you the townmap. Now go back to Viridian city. The one with The pokemart. They all have pokemarts. Well anyways, go back to the pokemart and get 3 Pokeballs. Go north of the city. Their will be a man drinking coffee. Next to him is his wife. Well anyways try to sneek behind him while he's turned around. Then go north.Go to a grassy patch get a Rattata or a Pidgey. Those are some nice pokemon. Train them up by going through Viridian forest. Which is north of Viridian City. Go through the maze. To the north their will be a trainer with a level 10 caterpie or something like that. Mayby a metapod. Well anyways defeat him and enter Pewter City. Train your Pokemon to at least level 10. You will be alright to defeat Brock then. He has a level 10 Geodude and a level 12 Onix. If you trained your pokemon good enough you can defeat him. If not, you will blank out. After you defeat him you will recieve TM38 I think. After defeating Brock, go east. Here is how it looks
Keep heading east and go around. You'll eventually go to Mt Moon. In Mt. Moon just follow these pictures.

Yo!!! Before you leave you can choose 1 out of 2 fossils. I got both because i traded my Kabuto to my friend and also my hitmonchan and jolteon. I started over and I now got charmander squirtle and bulbasaur. Well anyways the dome fossil is kabuto and the helix fossil is omanite. Yeah!!! you are now just outside Cerlean City. Walk and jump over the hedges until you are there. Now you should heal your pokemon. Go to the gym which is next to the Pokecenter. Misty uses water pokemon which will easily beaten by any grass pokemon. Heal your pokemon. Now go north until you met Gary and listen to his boring talk. Fight him and continue to go north to fight the trainers on Nugget Bridge. Now fight the hikers and see Bill. He will give you a ticket to the S.S ANNE which is in Vermilion City. Go back down and you’ll see the policeman in front of a house has moved. Go in and out the back. Fight the rocket and get TM 28. Teach it to a rock pokemon. Continue on south and see the gut who runs the daycare. Give him a pokemon to raise (its $100 alevel plus an extra $100). Now go into the othere building which goes to Vermilion city. Once in Vermilion City go into all the buildings. Make sure you trade Spearow for Farfetch’d and get the bike voucher from the Pokemon Fan Club. Then go abourd the S.S. Anne. Fight all the trainers in their rooms to get more exp. points. Just before you meet the captain, you will fight Gary who isn’t much better than before. See the captain and he will give you HM 01 which teaches cut. Use it on Farfetch’d. Now go into Digglet’s cave. Catch a Digglet and a Dugtrio if you can find one. Once out the other side you walk south until you get to the second house. There Prof. Oaks aid will give you HM 05 which teaches Flash. Teach it to a bad pokemon as in battle it is a bad move and cannot be forgotten. Now go back to Vermilion City. You can now go to Virmilion City’s gym who is led by Lt. Surge. He has set up double locks which are at random but the second is next to the first. Use rock and ground pokemon which will kick Lt. Surge’s butt. Now go back to Cerlean City. ,middle,left>
