6th Unlimited Item
Go to Viriden City and talk to the guy with the weedle and say yes to him. Then go to Cinnibar Island but 1st bring your item to the 6th one down and surf next to the gym. You will find someone called Missing-No run away and the 6th item down would be unlimited.

Alternate Routes to a Pokecenter
Other than teleporting you can use Dig when in a cave; Fly (HM05 lets you fly to any desired town). You can also used Softboiled that can only be taught to Chansey. It takes some of Chansey's health to give to another Pokemon, and also restores Chansey's health by half during a battle. Flash, used to light up Rock Tunnel and make an opponent's accuracy fall. Cut, used to cut certain bushes and is used like Scratch in battle. Surf, lets you cross any body of water and is used like the Hydro-Pump in battle.

An Old Man on a Roof
Step to the right of the door at the gym where you get the Volcano Badge. You should be on the edge of the water. Use Lapras to surf out into the water. Come back in and go to the door, which should be locked. Look on the roof to find an old man.

Boss Tactics
Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders: Brock: Use a Water or Grass Pokemon. Misty: Use a Grass Pokemon or electric Lieutenant Surge: Use a Rock or Ground Pokemon. Erika: Use Fire Pokemon or flight. Sabrina: Use bug or ghost. Koga: Use a Psy Pokemon. Blaine: Use water or ice. Final Boss, Giovanni: Use water, ice and plant. Talk to him again and he will tell you something. In the Indigo Plateau you will find 5 Pokemon Masters. Use this lineup for a better chance at victory: Plant Water, Plant, Flight, Ice Psy Ice or Dragon ???

Catch a Level 15 Pokemon
You must have perfect timing in order for this to work. Press Start, A, B to catch a Pokemon at level 15 with the Poke-ball.

Catch Pikablu
1.First you must catch all 150 Pokémon NOT I repeat NOT using GameShark.
2. Then you also must have Seventeen of your Pokémon over Level 70.
3. Then when all of these tasks are complete, go to the guy in Pewter City who asks you if you have been to the Museum yet. Say NO so he takes you to the door.
4. Then go into the Museum and go upstairs and talk to the Lady who says "I want My boyfriend to catch me a Pikachu!"
5. After you talk to her, immediately come out of the door and once you come out of the door do not take any steps forward. left, or right. Immediately use fly and go to Celedon City.
6. Go into the Game Corner and talk to the Lady that says "Go Next Door to the Coin Exchange Corner to use your coins to get great Prizes!"
7. But this time she will say, "Hey? You have all the badges? WOW! Well then since you were nice enough to talk to me, I will give you this Pokemon I found stranded behind then Pokemon Museum, he is so strong I can not control him.But since you have all the badges, YOU TAKE HIM!
8. It will say, "You got ???????" Then when you try to use it it will just be like if you were pressing cancel and it will exit every time you click on it. Then go to Proffesor Oak and he will say the same thing he says when you give him Oaks Parcel, it will still say "YOU DELIVERED OAKS PARCEL!"
9. Then when you go into your pokemon line and it will replace the Pokemon in your first slot. So put a spearow or something in first. It will still be called ????? so go to the Nickname guy and change it to Pikablu. It has a ElectricWave, Psyshock, and Electrode... Dont ask me why its Electrode but its an awesome move.
10. It is a Level 999 and Pikablu will, Yes it will appear in your Pokedex! After 150 it will say 154 and then you look at the Pokedex Info and it will look like this...
Name: Pikablu Type: ??????? Height: 2" 3" Length: 3" 4"
Stats: Attack-999 Defense-999 Speed-999 Special-999
Attacks: ElectricWave,Psyshock,Electrode,SonicBoom. When you get 60,000 more experience points after catching it. It Learns SonicBoom when you gain around 60, 000 experience points and it kills any pokemon in one hit and it never misses!

Cut Down Grassy Areas
Once you get the HM "cut", your Pokemon can cut down grassy areas. Use "cut" and it will clear a two by two area where Wild Pokemon will not attack.

Defeating Sabrina
When you enter the Saffron City gym step into the warp next to the trainer. You will be in another room full of warps and a Trainer. Step into the warp on your left, then step into the one below you. Next, step into the warp on your left. And again step into the warp on your left. You will be in a room with one warp and that's the one your standing on. Now talk to the trainer in the room, and get ready to defeat Sabrina. Here are the Pokemon she will use: Kadabra - L38 MR. MIME - L37 Venomoth - L38 Alakazam - L43 All of these Pokemon are psychic and very powerful. You should use a Venusaur or other grass-type Pokemon. Use your Razor Leaf if you have a Venusaur.

Easy Level Gain
To gain experience, switch the Pokemon you want to train with the top Pokemon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokemon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokemon. After you win the battle, both Pokemons will gain experience points.

Extra Damage
During a fight, choose your attack. When the screen says your are going to be using your attack, hold down the A Button until your opponent's life stops draining. If you timed it correctly you will do more damage than you normally do.

Fight and Capture Safari Pokemon
To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park. Go into the park and let the time run out when you're standing in a grass area that has the desired Pokemon. Step back outside and use FLY to get back to Cinnabar Island. Use SURF, to go up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the water. You should now enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon.

Fight Land Creatures in Water
Go to the water areas around Cinnabar or Seafoam Islands (where you can be randomly attacked while swimming). Swim along the shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.) Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get Safari Zone monsters, go to the section of the Safari Zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the coast.

Fish Forever
In the Safari Zone, the 500 units that are given when entering are based on number of steps, not time, spent. You can fish forever in the park if you go to water and not move the entire time that you are fishing.

Get A Togapie
First get a car key and then go to where you get Mew by the SS Anne. Go by the car door and use the car key and you will find a Togapie. Catch it with a Master Ball.

Get All Three Beginning Monsters at Oak's Lab
In order for this trick to work another Game Boy system, game and a link cable are needed. Transfer your Pokemon to the other Game Boy. Begin a new game on the original Game Boy and get a monster that was not collected in the first game and transfer it to the other Game Boy. Repeat this step again, then transfer the monsters back to the original Game Boy. This allows your game to have the three starting Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle) plus any others that were already captured.

Get Kanguskon
Capture M and give it one rare candy.

Get Mew in Red or Blue
Go on the S.S. Anne get cut on your way out, battle a trainer and lose on purpose. You will be at a Pokemon center, the S.S Anne won't leave.Get surf .Go back to the S.S. Anne and surf on the right side of the dock.(The dock behind the guy that asks for your ticket.)

Get Mewtwo
After you receive all eight of your badges you need to go beat the Pokemon League. The credits will roll and then the menu pops up again. DO NOT RESET THE GAME! Go to Cerulean Citygo, North to the bridge where you faced the five trainers before Bill's house. Turn left and there will be a large area of water. Surf until you get to a cave. You will find Mewtwo in that cave.

Get Missing Number
To get Missing Number (a glitch) go to Cinnabar Island and go into the Pokémon Research Labratory and trade with anyone in the first room. Leave the Lab and go EAST of Cinnabar Island and surf up and down the beach. Eventually the battle screen will come up and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds. Once you find him use at least a Level 30 to 40 Pokemon. Missing Number is a level 80, but has a low defense rating. Even at low he is still extremely difficult to catch. You may want to use a Pokemon that knows a sleep move and put him to sleep. Follow this up with a couple Ultra Balls and you should have him. NOTE: Catching Missing Number may cause minor glitches. Also note that if he evolves (i.e., by receiving a Rare Candy) he will turn into a Khangiskahn.

Get the Mimic TM
In Celadon Mart buy a Pokedoll, FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM.

Ghost Computer
In Celadon City, make your way to the motel. Go to the far right wall, make sure Ash is in the middle square and looking North. Press A, and get a look at the Phantom PC.

Keep Earning Money
You can continue to earn money even after beating the trainers. Keep betting the Pokemon league 4 and your rival repeatedly. You can beat them an unlimited number of times. This also allows you to build levels quickly.

Onixs Evolution
Catch an Onix and get it to at least level 50, then use a moon stone on it.

Pokegod Trade
Beat the Elite Four 30 times. Professor Oak will say I'm Fed Up With This. He will then let you choose Left or Right. Choose RIGHT.

Pokemon at Level 100+
To catch a high level Pokemon go talk to the old man in Viridian City, who shows you how to catch a Pokemon. From there fly directly to Cinnabar Island and put your strongest Pokemon on your team. (It might be a good time to save.) Surf on the shoreline and keep surfing until you encounter a strong Pokemon. These Pokemon are above level 100, but they will go down to 100 if they gain any experience points. The only thing to raise their level is to use Rare Candy. They can be used in two-player battle mode without losing their level.

Pokemon Cloning
In order to do this cheat you will need another Game Boy system and Pokemon game. Trade the Pokemon that you want to clone, and have the other player get a Pokemon that they do not care about. Trade Pokemon, and make sure the player receiving the bad one can see the other player's screen. When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemon's displays "Waiting", get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the "Waiting" message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the "Trade completed" message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. When both players turn their Game Boys back on they will both have the good Pokemon.

Receive 99 of Any Item
Put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man in the Northern part of town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle. From there, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam Island. After reaching Seafoam Island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your sixth item!

Secret Coins
At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. Press the A button and simply walk around.

Secret In The Plateau
First you will need to have already beaten the game with 150 Pokemon and all HM. You must also beat the Elite Four 30 times without talking to anyone from the Indigo Plateau through the end. Sit through the credits. After 30 times Professor Oak should say I'm Getting Sick Of This and will send you to a secret place.

Secret Office
Go to the power plant. Fight with Voltorb, quickly check a rock in the power plant, because you can go through one of the rocks. You can only go through the rock for 10 seconds. After you go through the rock, the game will send you to a secret office. In the secret office, you will find a Pokeball, it has a Pikablu inside. You will see a warp hole. If you go to the hole the game will send you to the second site of Pallet Town.

Statue Fishing
When inside a gym, stand beside or in front of the Pokemon statues. Use any kind of Fishing Rod and go fishing! If you fish enough, you can catch some water Pokemon!

Teleport
An Abra is hard to catch, but it is worth it when your Pokemon need to get to a Pokecenter quickly. Press Start and choose Pokemon. A list of your Pokemon will appear. If you have Abra with you, choose him and select teleport. Note: You have to be outside first; use an escape rope if needed. It will take you to the last Pokemon Center visited.

Togipee
Beat the Elite Four 9 times and then go to Professor Oak.

Unlimited Time for Safari Zone
This will allow you to catch Water Pokemon in the Safari Zone at your leisure. Obtain a good or super rod, and go to the Safari Zone and find water. Go into your inventory and use the rod to start fishing. If a "Not even a nibble" message appears, press A, then quickly press Start. If you got into a fight, check the Pokemon out. If it is one you do not have, catch it then quickly press Start after the battle. Return to the inventory and fish again. If you already have this Pokemon, run from it, then quickly press Start and begin fishing again. This will help you catch some good Water Pokemon with plenty of time.

Use a Pokeball as a Masterball
Throw a regular Pokeball then hold DOWN + B or UP + B until the Pokeball explodes.

Water Pokemon
Go to the shore and pull out a super rod. When it says you used it press the direction you are facing and rapidly tap A. Timing is essential.

Winning Money in Celadon City
Go to Celadon City and get the coin case from the man in the back of the diner. Go to the slots and ask for some free coins. Use these to play the slots and win Pokemon prizes. When you walk in, there are rows of slots. Find the man to the far left that says "wins come and go". Below him is a machine that is out of order. Play the machine directly beneath it. This slot machine pays out the most. You may not win all of the time. If it stops paying out, leave, go train your Pokemon, and come back later. Note: This trick works more often in the "Blue" version of the game. Also try walking around Celadon's Game Corner and repeatedly press A to find coins that people have dropped.
