| Pallet Town: You are in your bedroom. Go to the computer and withdraw the potion. Then walk downstairs and go out the door. When you search the town, there's not much to see. So go to where the grassy area starts. Professor Oak tries to stop you and takes you to his laboratory. Choose a pokemon, Either Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. It doesn't really matter. Then, when you try to leave the lab, your rival stops you, and battles you. Make sure you don't use growl or tail whip in the fight. Then, leave the town and go back to the grass. A: Your House. B: Your rivals house. C: Oak's Laboratory PALLET TOWN Route 1: Pokemon: Pidgey Rattata. Fight for exp. You can't catch any pokemon. A man walking around gives you a potion from Pokemart. ROUTE 1 Viridian City: Go to the Pokemon Center and heal your pokemon, then make your way to the Pokemart. Take the parcel down to Professor Oak at Pallet town, remember to fight for exp. The pokemon Gym here is locked. It comes into play later in the game. A: Pokemon Mart. B: Pokemon Gym. C: Pokemon Center VIRIDIAN CITY Pallet Town: Once your back in Pallet, go to Oaks Lab and give him the parcel. He gives you a pokedex. Now leave the town for Viridian City. Viridian City: Once again, go and heal your pokemon at the Pokemon Center and you might like to buy some pokeballs at the Pokemart. Then head north to Viridian Forest. Route 2: This leads to Viridian Forest and ultimately Pewter City.Pokemon: Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, Metapod.Items: 1 Moonstone. 2 HP Up. ROUTE 2. VIRIDIAN FOREST IS WHERE THE GAP IS Viridian Forest: There's plenty of Exp. here . Pokemon: Pidgey, Weedle, Kakuna, Caterpie, Metapod and Pikachu. Items: 1 Pokeball. 2 Antidote. 3 Potion. There's plenty of trainers to fight. When you get into the forest, go right and up for the rest of the journey. VIRIDIAN FOREST Pewter City: Heal your pokemon and if you want, buy some items, but the main thing here is the Museum and Brock. The museum costs 50 pokedollars. |
