| Pokemon Codes You asked for it, you got it! Hi! Someone suggested to me that I add some codes, so I did a little researching, and I found some. Here are the best: Game Genie Gameshark Codes That Do Work Fight Safari Zone Pokémon near the Seafoam Islands Go into the Safari Zone. Exit back into the city. Head south towards the water (Rt. 19) and SURF to the Seafoam Islands. Stop right before you reach the shore. Line yourself up so it looks like your Pokémon is on both the ground and in the water. Keep surfing up and down and you should eventually encounter a Pokémon from the Safari Zone. Clone Pokémon Set up a trade, with one player with a Pokémon they don't mind getting deleted. When the screen says, "Waiting...!" the person with the Pokémon they want to clone (the original owner) turn off the Gameboy. Now turn off the other Gameboy. If the code worked, when you restart both Gameboys, both games will have the cloned Pokémon. Infinite Items or Pokémon with levels over 100 Put the item you want to become infinite in the 6th slot of your Item List. Go to Viridian City. Head North, towards the Old Man that gaurds the exit of the city. Talk to him and tell him "No" when he asks if you are in a hurry. He'll demonstrate his Pokémon catching abilities on a Weedle (Wow, he has 50 Pokéballs). FLY directly to Cinnabar Island Head right, to the Eastern Coast of Cinnabar. SURF up and down the coast (half in water, half on land) You'll fight either a Level 100+ Pokémon or a Level 0 MISSINGNO. (His name is messed up) If you fight a Level 0 or 100+ MISSINGNO then run away or knock him out for the Infinite items code to work Codes That Don't Work Catch Mew Don't beat the SS Anne. Get someone to trade a Pokémon with CUT and one with SURF to you. Goto the SS Anne and before entering you'll come to an overhead view of the boat. SURF to the side and you will come ashore and find a Truck. Use STRENGTH to move the Truck and you'll find Mew. Brock has tried it, there is a Truck, but you can't move it. I've tried it, but I collected all 150 Pokémon, and got the Diploma first. It still doesn't work. Get Mew Catch all 150 Pokémon and talk to the guy in Celedon city that's in the large building. He will give you Mew. Nope, this doesn't work, all he gives you is a Certificate, lame. Note: This is for the American Version. In the Japanese he gives you Mew. Turn Pokéballs / Great Balls / Ultra Balls into Master Balls If you push Up and B, or Down and A, or Swirl the Pad around while the Ball is closing and it will close tighter and turn into a Master Ball! Yeah, right. This is all in your mind. If you do catch a Pokémon without weaking it then it was just by chance. The odds are low but you can still do it. And if you keep throwing Pokéballs at the wild Pokémon, eventually you will catch it. There are five different ways to get Mew. I have listed all of them. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * x FIRST WAY NOTE: THIS CODE CAN RESET THE GAME SO SAVE BEFORE TRYING IT. Go to Lavender Town. Ask the Nickname Changer to change your Magikarp's nickname to "MEW." Go to the Items Menu and go to the thirteenth item. Press "SELECT" at least 8 times. Ask the Nickname Changer to change your Magikarp's nickname again. The Nickname Changer won't do it, and you now have Mew! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * SECOND WAY NOTE: THIS CODE ONLY WORKS FOR THE RED AND GREEN VERSIONS AND DOESN'T WORK ON SOME CARTRIDGES. IT MAY RESET THE GAME SO SAVE BEFORE TRYING IT. Put a water type Pokémon on top. Go to the Item Menu and go down to your thirteenth item. Press "SELECT" on it once. Get in a battle in Route One and go to the Pokémon Menu. Press "A" on any Pokémon and it will change to Mew! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * THIRD WAY NOTE: THIS IS A GAMESHARK CODE. This is the Gameshark code: 011508CF After typing this in, catch a Pokémon. It will automatically become Mew! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * x FOURTH WAY Carry the following Pokémon with you in this order: Clefairy, Psyduck, Tentacool, a Pokémon you don't like, and 2 Pokémon of your choice. Put the Pokémon you don't want in first now. Go to Route 1. Go to your Item Menu and press "SELECT," "B," and "B" on your 13th item. Get in a battle. Go to your Pokémon Menu and press "A" on Clefairy. Beat the Pokémon and go to the Viridian City Pokémon Center. Heal your Pokémon. Put Psyduck in first. Go to Route 1. Go to your Item Menu. Press "SELECT," "B," and "B" on your 13th item. Get in a battle. Go to your Pokémon Menu. Press "A" on Clefairy. Beat the Pokémon and go to the Viridian City Pokémon Center. Put Psyduck in your PC, then bring him back out. The Pokémon you didn't want is now Mew! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FIFTH WAY After collecting all 150 Pokemon, go to Celadon Mansion and talk to all the guys in there. In the Japanese Version, you'll receive a Mew, in the American Version, you'll just receive a crappy diploma. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GET MISSINGNO.! There are two ways to get Missingno.! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FIRST WAY NOTE: THIS IS A GAMESHARK CODE. The Gameshark code is: 0120D8CF * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * SECOND WAY Go to Cinnibar Island. Trade with one of the people in the research lab. Then Surf up and down the right coastline until you get into a battle. The screen will be black for 5-10 seconds then Missingno. will appear! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GET YOUR POKEMON TO LEVEL 100 INSTANTLY! There are three different ways to get your Pokémon to Level 100 instantly. I have listed all of them. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FIRST WAY NOTE: THE POKEMON'S HEALTH BAR MIGHT TOTALLY MESS UP AFTER THIS. IF THIS HAPPENS, JUST HEAL IT AT A POKEMON CENTER. Get into a battle. Press "SELECT" on an ability you don't like. Then press "SELECT" on the bottom ability. Go to the Item Menu and press "SELECT" on the seventh item. Press "SELECT" on the Pokémon's bottom ability again. Beat the enemy without pressing "SELECT" again. The ability you didn't like will be gone, but the Pokémon will be at Level 100! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * SECOND WAY Hook up with a friend. Go to the Trade Center. Press "B," "A," "B," "A," "B," "A," "B" and "A" on the Pokémon you want to be at Level 100. Then, on the same Pokémon, press "SELECT" and "START". * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * THIRD WAY NOTE: THIS CODE ONLY WORKS FOR THE GREEN AND YELLOW VERSIONS. Go to your Items List. Go to the 7th item and press "SELECT". Get into a battle and pick a Pokémon that has four attacks, select one of that Pokémon's attacks and press "SELECT". The attack will change so pick one that you don't like. Win the battle and your Pokémon will change to Level 100! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GIVE YOUR POKEMON A RANDOM ABILITY! NOTE: THIS IS ANOTHER "IT CAN RESET THE GAME SO SAVE FIRST" CODE. Go into battle. Press "SELECT" on an ability you don't like, and press "SELECT" again on the ability on the bottom. The ability you don't like should be at the bottom, unless it already was the bottom ability. Go to your Items List and press "SELECT" on the eighth item. Win the battle, and get into another battle. Press "SELECT" on the bottom ability. It will change into something, but its' PP will be drained. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO DUPLICATE ITEMS! Have 15 items. Put the Bike in first and the item you want duplicated in second. Have one of the six Pokémon you carry be a Pidgey, but don't have it on top. Press "SELECT," "B" and "B" on the fourteenth item. Go to Route One. Get in a battle with a Pidgey or Rattata. Go to your Pokémon Menu, and press "A" on the Pidgey. Select Run Away. Go to your Item List and make the Bike in second and the item you want duplicated in first, then switch the item you want duplicated with the fifteenth item. Make sure you're still carrying the Pidgey and it's not in first. Go to your Item Menu and press "SELECT," "B" and "B" on the fourteenth item. Go to Route One and get in a battle with a Pidgey or Rattata. Go to your Pokémon Menu and press "A" on the Pidgey. Select Run Away. There will now be 67 of the item you wanted duplicated! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO DUPLICATE POKEMON! There are two ways to duplicate Pokémon. I have listed both. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FIRST WAY NOTE: YOU CAN'T DUPLICATE POKEMON WITH HIDDEN MACHINE ABILITIES. Make sure you have no Pokémon in the Pokémon Daycare at the time. Have one of the six Pokémon you carry be the one you want duplicated and another Pokémon be one you don't like. Put the Pokémon you want duplicated at the bottom. Put five Pokémon in the PC. The one you don't put in should be the one you want duplicated. Replace four of the Pokémon you put in the PC with other Pokémon, but bring the one you don't like out again. Bring them out so that the one you want duplicated is in first and the one you don't like is in last. Go to the Items Menu. Push "SELECT," "B," and "B" on the sixth item. Go to one of the Routes. Get in a battle with a wild Pokémon. Go to your Pokémon Menu. Press "A" on the last Pokémon, the one you didn't like. It will disappear. Select Run Away. Go to the Pokémon Daycare. Talk to the guy in the Pokémon Daycare who takes care of your Pokémon for you. He'll ask you if you want your Pokémon back, even though you have no Pokémon in there. Take the Pokémon. The Pokémon you get is the same as the one you wanted to multiply! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * SECOND WAY Trade the Pokémon you want duplicated with any Pokémon. Trade with someone who has the opposite version. Trade it. When Waiting! disappears, turn the game off (You, not the person you're trading with!). You both have the Pokémon you wanted duplicated. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GET ANY POKEBALL TO WORK LIKE A MASTERBALL! Simply press "UP" and "B" the second the Pokéball leaves your hand. If you time it right, the Pokémon will instantly be caught! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GET A FREE MASTERBALL! Make your second Pokémon that you carry be a water Pokémon. Go to Route 1. Go to your Item Menu. Press "SELECT" 21 times and "B" twice on your 14th item. Get in a battle. Go to your Pokémon Menu. Push "A" on your water Pokémon. Run away. Go to the Pokémon Shop in Viridian City. Go to Sell. An item should be all screwed up. Sell it. Go to Buy. All of the items will be screwed. Masterball is there. Buy it. The price is 0. Fix the screwed items by going to Route 1. Go to your Item Menu. Press "SELECT" 21 times and "B" twice on your 14th item. Get in a battle. Go to your Pokémon Menu. Push "A" on your water Pokémon. Run away. Press "A", "B," "UP," and "DOWN" all at once. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * HOW TO GET ANY POKEMON AT CINNIBAR ISLAND! Go to any field or cave where there are Pokémon. Find one and run away. Go to Cinnibar Island and Surf up and down the east coast. It should look like you are half on water and half on land. You will run into Pokémon from the field or cave that you were at! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO MAKE YOUR POKEMON GROW FIVE LEVELS AFTER EVERY BATTLE! Trade the Level 100 Pokémon from the Green or Yellow Version to a Red or Blue Version. (See Level 100 Code, Third Way.) The Pokémon and graphics will mess up. The Pokémon from the Yellow or Green Version will have no name and be at Level 0. Get into a battle and use the Pokémon that was traded from the Green or Yellow Version. Win the battle with that Pokémon and it will jump to Level 65 and evolve to a random Pokémon at its' highest evolutionary stage. Go to your Pokémon Menu and check the stats of the traded Pokémon. All of the graphics should return to normal and the traded Pokémon will gain 5 levels at a time in every battle there after! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO GET MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED TIMES AN ITEM! There are TWO ways. *FIRST WAY: Go to Cinnibar Island. Trade with one of the people in the research lab. Then Surf up and down the right coastline until you get into a battle. The screen will be black for 5-10 seconds then Missingno will appear. Battle it and once your out of battle, your sixth item will look screwed up, but you will have more than 100 of them!!! Do this especially with PP ups and Rare Candys. *SECOND WAY: Go to Viridian City. Talk to the guy left away from the gym. Say you have spare time and he will show you how to catch a Weedle. After that, fly straight to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the right hand coastline until you encounter a Missingno or "M". After battle your sixth item will appear screwed, but you actually have more than 100 of them!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *HOW TO CATCH LEVEL 100+ POKEMON Go to Viridian City. Talk to the guy left away from the gym. Say you have spare time and he will show you how to catch a Weedle. After that, fly straight to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the right hand coastline. You will encounter Level 130-145 Golbats, Snorlax, Haunter, Missingno and more. There will also be a Level 0 "M". If you catch one, use a Rare Candy on it and it can evolve into many different Pokemon!!! You may also find some Level 30-45 Sandslash and others. Pokemon found vary between packs.
