| I know that my site is dedicated entirely to Pokemon, but it is such a good game that I had to put it on my site. It's Final Fantasy VII. I know that I really strived off course when I went from Nintendo to Sony, but I couldn't help it. Here is the walkthrough to FFVII. (I do this as I go along in the game, so I'll cover most of it, but tell me if I miss something.) Part 1:Assault on Reactor #1 You start off on the train going to reactor #1. As you jump off, talk to the two men that your team members knocked out. You get two potions from them. Then turn the corner and you will find yourself on top of a building. After talking to the people there, name yourself. (From here on , I will be referring to you as Cloud.) Continue on through the corridors and go through the door at the end. A buff, black man (who will now be reffered to as Barret, his default name) joins you as your second party member. Continue through the place, and at every locked door you come to, talk to the person standing next to it. Then, continue on. After going through the place for a while, you'll come to a strange twirling multi-colored symbol. This is a save point. Stand on it and save your game. You are about to fight your first boss. Walk over the bridge, and when a small green ball stops you in your path, talk to it. You will pick up your first materia now. You cant't do anything with it yet, but soon you can, along with learning what it is and does. Barret now asks you to blow up the reactor. Just skip through the dialouge, and now you fight the boss. Have Cloud use thunder under the "magic" category and Barret just attack. Once the monster's tail raises, don't attack. Now is the chance to heal yourself. Go to "Item" and then use potions. When the tail goes back down, you now have a chance to repeat the attack sequence. Do this until it dies. You now have 10 minutes to escape from the reactor before it explodes. This shouldn't be much of a problem, since you should now know your way around pretty well. The only thing you have to do differently is, where Jessie stopped before, her leg is stuck. Talk to her, and she'll get unstuck. Now just keep going backwards and you'll have completed your first mission. |
