POWERFUL NEO CARDS
(10)=PICHU=HP30
WHY=You can spring a surprise on your opponent by waiting to play Picchu until he's got several Pokemon with Pokemon Powers.
(9)=ELEKID=HP30
WHY=You can make a big basic Pokemon like Chansey to soak up damage while Elekid bombs away from the bench.
(8)=SLOWKING=HP80
WHY=Try and get Slowking into play as soon as possible and then keep him on the bench. His Pokemon Power can wreck a lot of nasty deck strategies.
(7)=MARIRURI=HP70
WHY=If Mariruri can attack several turns in a row, you might be able to do enough damage to knock out all your opponent's Pokemon, so keep him fully healed with Super Potions.
(6)=UPA=HP50
WHY=Speaking of "Forget", don't forget that your opponent will be able to play an energy card next turn, so he might be able to use his Pokemon's tougher attacks. If that's the case, consider choosing that attack.
(5)=PI=HP30
WHY=It's best to use Pi's attack when you've only got a few cards in hand. Even better if you don't have any.
(4)=MAGUMARASHI=HP70
WHY=Burning counters are even better than poison-there's no way to get rid of them!
(3)=WANINOKO=HP50
WHY=Early in the game, be offensive by using the Claw attack. Later in the game, when you need to build up a bigger Pokemon, use Waninoko's Stare attack.
(2)=TOGECHIKU=HP60
WHY=To take full advantage of the Wag Fingers power, use Gust Of Wind to make your opponent's most dangerous Pokemon active.
(1)=MEGANIUMU=HP100
WHY=The amazing Meganiumu only needs two Grass Energy to use this Powerful attack, so speed things up and get into play on the second turn with the trainer card Pokemon Breeder!
