RDA1988@aol.com: If you win a battle you get money and your pokemon's expirience goes up. If you loose a battle you go to the last pokecenter you visited and loose money.

rynshelton@aol.com: How does the PoKeMoN card game work?
RDA1988@aol.com: The PoKeMoN card game is fun to collect and play. There are three american packs regular, jungle, and fossil. The rest are in japan. You gather 60 cards and put a basic pokemon down and evolve it to get it powerfuller. Then put the energys it requires to use the attack and it does damage to the other pokemon and to fight how much HP (hit points) it has it'll have it on the top like a chansey will have 120HP For more about the game go to www.wizards.com/pokemon I'll try to put a way how to play the game on this site later but I need more votes. :)

Gold and Silver Version is the newer versions coming in the year 2000 and will have over 250 pokemon and for more facts go to gold silver and yellow version under pikachu's game facts.

Who is better to start out with Bulba, Squirt, or Char
They're all better in some different ways. Charmander is hard to train at first and is weak against the gym leaders but after it evolves it becomes really strong. Bulbasaur is very strong in the beginning and it becomes stronger but a little weaker for gym leaders. Squirtle is medium and sometimes good. So choose wisely.

Do you get to choose your pokemon on Yellow Version
No, you start with pikachu and if you're nice to him he'll surf and stuff like that. Garry on the other hand gets Evee and it dappends on when you beet him he evolves it to.
