Rule 1: Take a good look at what you are buying. Nintendo makes their stuff look real and if it looks nothing like it should don't buy it.
Rule 2: Look at the copyright information. If it is licened and real it should read this:
c1995,1996,1998 Nintendo, CREATURES, GAME FREAK.
TM and r are trademarks of Nintendo. c 1999 Nintendo
Rule 3: Make sure it has the Nintendo gold seal of quality.
Rule 4: With cards, hold them up to the sunlight, if you can see through them they are fake.
Rule 5: There are NO scanned cards. Some people believe that if the card is too dark or light, its fake. Its not! Its just a change of ink!
