The Basic's

What Everything Does and Is

Red and Blue Table

When you press start you have the choice to either go to the red or the blue table. I suggest the blue table for beginers. The game the red had some pokemon the blue does not has and vice-versa

Your Pinball

Your pinball is of course a pokeball. You can change the strength of a pokeball by making all the little circles go black(they're right above the Shelder or Voltorb). However, this doesn't increase your chance of capturing a pokemon in any way. What it does is increase every point you get by which ball it upgrades into

First change: super ball-x2

Second change: ultra ball-x3

Third change: master ball-x5

Capturing and Evolution

Note: when I say Shelder, I mean the Voltorb too) to capture a pokemon you must first go loopdaloop counterclockwise 3 times (when you start a game you don't have to loopdaloop, it's already done).
Then go to either Bellsprout or Cloyster and you will start the catch'em mode.

A silhouette will appear of the pokemon you can capture. First, you have to hit the Shelder about 6 times. Then the pokemon will appear.

you have to hit the pokemon 4 times to spell to catch it.

alright, your next challenge is the hardest in the game. You have to evolve your pokemon. If you don't evolve it before game over you have to catch it again and try to evolve it again. Now, say we've got a Charmander, and I need to evolve it. We loopdaloop clock wise 3 times(this, unlike the catch'em mode, isn't ready done for you when you first begin) and you can now either go into the hole the ditto was blocking or into Slowbro's mouth(depending on which table you chose).

now you can choose any pokemon you've caught during this game and evolve it. Now, here's the hard part. Many arrows will appear (5 to be exact). When we hit the target these arrows are pointing to, either it'll say pokemon is tired(item not found, etc.) or it'll say find exp. points(fire stone, link cable, etc.). those letters(pictures)will now appear somewhere on the screen. You must pass through it to get it. Now you must find another arrow that works and do this 3 times. When you do that, you must hit the pokeball into the little hole that appears above the head of the pokemon. Then it evolves!

the hardest part of this is your timed, 2 minutes to be exact for capturing and evolving. When you capture or evolve a pokemon it's pokedex entry is automatically saved into the pokedex at the front screen.

The Bonus Rounds

After you get a total of 3 captures or evolutions you can go to the bonus round. I know about 5. There are much more, of course. Each bonus round is very fun, and racks up many points. Here are the ones I know currently. This is going to get bigger the more bonus's I get into:

All of these bonus rounds can be found on red version.

The Diglett stage(this one is common to go to) : this stage has many Digletts in it. You have to hit all the Digletts and then a Dugtrio appears. Hit the Dugtrio 3 times(duh) and you beat the level! But their are problem's:1)the Digletts are so close the flippers that it isn't funny(which makes losing the ball easy) and 2) once you lose the ball that's it. However, there's a bright side- no timer!

The Gengar stage(this one is uncommon to go to):okay, once you've hit all of the Gastly's, then Haunter's will appear. Hit all of them. Then, hit Gengar and you beat it! Well, I guess all the bonuses you have to hit something 20 times. Anyway, your timed 1:30.

points earned

All of these pokemon can be found on the blue board

The Mewoth stage(this one is common to go to) : this stage u must hit Meowth to make him drop a coin. You can hit him as many times as u like in a row and he will still sew out one coin for each hit. If you can collect coins in a series without hitting Meowth it's value doubles by 1x's all the way up to x6.u have about 1 minutes to finish this bonus. If your ball goes under, you lose some coins but you get to continue with the round. You must collect 20 coins to beat the level.

The Seel stage(this one is uncommon to go to) : I do not know that much about this one, I heard it from a friend. I think it is almost exactly like the Meowth stage except your just hitting the head of a Seel. I do not know how many times you have to hit it to win the round, but I am guessing around 20 hits. It's timed around 1:30

all these stages can be found in both

mewtwo stage(very uncommon):you have to keep hitting Mewtwo without hitting the Black Orbs and as you hit them, the orbs start to decrease in numbers

points earned

diglet stage-diglet:1,000,000-dugtrio:50,000,000

gengar stage-headstone:1,000-haunter:5,000,000-gastly:1,000,000 gengar:50,000,000

meowth stage-meowth:10,000-coins x1:1,000,000

seel stage-seel's head:1,000,000

mewtwo stage-Mewtwo:50,000,000-Orbs:1,000,000

well that's all for today. I'm going to add what kind of pokemon you can get and how to get to indigo platau. Did I also mention that you can get mew? You have to map move until you get to indigo plateau. Then, after you map move a couple more times, you should come across mew! You can get all 151!
