| OVER 100 OF ANY ITEM: -FLY to Viridian City. Talk to the old man North of the POKe CENTER. He says, "Ahh, I've had my coffee now and I feel great! Sure you can go through! Are you in a hurry"? That's when you should say "no". He will take you through a fight showing you how to catch a Pokemon. When he's done, FLY to Cinnabar Island. Set the item that you want to be over 100 of to your 6 item. walk directly to the right and SURF so you are half on land and half on water. Make sure you are holding "B" when you are surfing. Eventually you should run into a glitch and you will know when you see it. A lot of people call it a Misingno. Select RUN and your 6th item will have over 100 of them! If you save your Master Ball then you can do the trick with that item. I did that and you don't even have to injure the Pokemon to catch him! TO GET MEW!!!!! *HAVE TO HAVE GAMESHARK THOUGH* -To get Mew, the 151st Pokemon, you have to have a Game Shark. Enter the code 0115D8CF. Now go to any grassy area with Pokemon in it and have a wild one fight you. When the Pokemon appears, listen for its cry. It won't be the cry of the Pokemon you see, instead, it will be the cry of Mew. Capture the Pokemon and it will say "All right! MEW was caught! New Pokedex data will be added for MEW!" Mew is a Pokemon who was in the Japanese version of the game but his presence was not known in the English version until now. Mew is a Psychic Pokemon. If you play without a Game Shark, the game will go back to normal. POKEBALL INTO MASTERBALL *WORKS 4 OUT OF 5 TIMES* -You can turn an original pokeball into the all powerful master ball by following this steps: Get into a battle (not a trainer battle), make sure you have a good supply of pokeballs, throw a pokeball, as soon as it says: "blank" used poke ball, hold the up button on the directional pad and B button. When the pokemon is wobbling inside the ball, wait until the second wobble then release the buttons. If you did it correctly, the pokemon will be caught at any level or strength!! Odds in this happening: 4 out of 5 times. NOTE: This only works with a regular pokeball! You can use great balls or ultra balls but the odds are very slim. Approx. 2 out of 5 times. CATCH A SAFARI ZONE POKEMON WITHOUT A PROBLEM! -First you have to go to the Safari Zone. Go to the Area that you want to catch the Pokemon in. Once you see that Pokemon make sure you stay in that same GRASS area. Wait till time runs out (or Safari Balls). When time runs out FLY or SURF down to Cinnabar Island. SURF half on land and half on water. Keep SURFING up and down till you see that Pokemon you are dying to catch! (This works best if you did the over 100 of any item trick with the Master Ball). I did this with a Tauros and a Kangaskhan! LOTS OF SLOT COINS!! -To get a lot of coins for the slot machines in Celadon game corner walk around pressing "A" and you will find coins on the floor. They come in handy! CLONE POKEMON! -Note: This trick requires another Game Boy and Pokemon game. Trade the Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player get a Pokemon that he or she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving the bad Pokemon can see the other player's screen. When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemon's displays "Waiting", get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the "Waiting" message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the "Trade completed" message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games will have the same good Pokemon when they are turned back on. INFINITE MONEY!!!! -Note: Have to have a Nugget. If you have a Nugget do the over 100 of any item trick to the Nugget. Store 1 of them in you PC. Sell the Nuggets to the store. You should have almost 999,999 money. If you don't, withdraw the Nugget you Stored in your PC. Do the over 100 of any item trick to the Nugget. Store 1 in the PC. Sell the remaining to the Mart. Keep repeating this process till you are satisfied with your money. (MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS PLACE 1 NUGGET IN THE PC) GETTING A LEVEL 100 AND OVER POKEMON -Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are in a hurry, answer "No". After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf on the side of Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands. In addition to the Missingno Pokemon, regular Pokemon over level100 will be encountered. Note: After any Pokemon over level 100 gains any experience points, it will drop to level 100. EASY WAY TO GET THE FIRST 3 POKEMON -First you have to have Two Game Boys along with Pokemon (doesn't matter which version) and a link cable. Have one of them start a new game. Have "A" GB (Game Boy) trade you the Pokemon he started with. "B" GB Evolve it to its final form. "B" GB will now have the info. for that Pokemon. Have "A" GB start another game. Have "A" choose a different Pokemon at the start then he did before. Trade it to "B" GB. "B" GB evolve it to its final form. "B" GB now has info. for the first 2 Pokemon. Have "A" GB start a new game. "A" GB start with the last Pokemon left to trade. Do the process above and "B" GB now has all 3 starting Pokemon!!! |
