Mewtwo Strikes Back is technically Pokémon episode 70. This may or may not show the part where Giovanni has Mewtwo and defeats Gary Oak and leaves Gary, his Pokémon, and his cheerleaders unconscious. Too bad Gary. Enough of that, onto the movie sequence. What started in a Pokémon Laboratory experiment, ended up to be a destruction machine. This experiment was Mewtwo. Mewtwo is a genetically altered clone of Mew. Mewtwo is able to speak english like Meowth can. Giovanni has control on Mewtwo at the beginning of the movie (when he beats Gary). (This part is unclear to me) Jesse and James call all Pokémon Trainer's to some island. (This part is clear) Mewtwo realizes that he/she can now do anything he/she wants because he/she is unique. Mewtwo no longer obeys Giovanni and destroys Team Rocket HQ and leaves Jesse and James with his Pokemon. Giovanni leaves to try to catch Mewtwo. (This is how Ash gets his Earth Badge. Ash easily defeats Jesse and James although they had Giovanni's Pokemon.) But at some point Ash and Friend's plus many other trainer's journey to this island where Mewtwo is. Mewtwo clones all of the Trainers' Pokemon. All of the Pokémon and Pokémon clones start battling each other. Mew and Mewtwo are fighting and the whole place is going crazy. Ash tries to stop the fight but gets turned to stone by the colliding energy of Mew and Mewtwo. All the Pokémon stop fighting and weep for Ash. Ash gets turned back to normal and Mewtwo, Mew and all the clones leave because they realize that they are all unique and no longer have to prove that they are stronger.
