Take Your Teammate's Ability With Kirby

We all know Kirby can suck in someone's ability with his B attack. But have you ever tried to suck in your teammate's ability in Team Battle? You can't since he's on your team but you can if there's another Kirby fighting on the other team (ex. Blue Team - Kirby & Captain Falcon, Red Team - Kirby and Samus). Let's say you were the blue Kirby (look at example). Let the red Kirby suck in your teammate and take his power. Once that is done, suck in the red Kirby (who should be having your teammate's power). If the process is done right, you will have your teammate's power!

Link's Moves

Since Link is my favorite character of the game,I have found some neat things you can do with him.

Bomb Attack: You can pull out Bombchu's with Link by holding down the joy stick and taping B.Then jump in the air(or double jumb) and throw the Bomb at you oponent.The will blow up in the face instead of hitting them and falling to the ground.

Triple Jump: If you have been knocked off of the edge in a level,tap the jump button(any of the C buttons) 3 times and Link will spin his sword and it will act as a helicopter blade which makes him float to safety.

Power Spin: Move close to your opponent and hold up on the Joy stick and tap B.Link will spin aroung in a full circle and his sword will knock your enemy away.

Long-shot Grab: Move close to your enemy and hit the "R" button on top of the controller.Link will fire the long shot and it will grab the enemy if you are close enough.Once you grab your enemy and pull him/her to you,hit A and Link will kick him/her into oblivion!

Protected Long-Shot Grab: You can protect your self while doing the Long shot grap posted above by holding Z and pressing the R button.If you hold the Z botton the entire time,Link will have his sheild up while firing the Long shot.

Rapid Sword Move: If you rapidly hit the A button,Link will Fight with his sword as if he was in a sword fight.

Over Head Swing: Hold up with the joy stick and tap A.Link will thrust his sword powerfully over his head.

Crouch Fighting: Hold down with the joy stick and tap A rapidly.Link will fight with crouched on the ground.

Chansey Healing

We all know Chansey's ability to heal but did you know it can heal you on the Silph Co. Stage? All you have to do is dash to it when it pops out and you'll likely be healed around 5%.

Fighters Stance Trick

As you know when you tap the L button your character does his "fighters stance". If you go up to an enemy as Luigi and tap the L button he'll swing his foot, if your close enough he will kick him. It's not very effective but it's kinda cool.

Item Trick

When you have a certain item that usually stops working you can hurt someone with it!!!!! When your Star Rod, Ray Gun, or Fire Flower stop shooting run towards your opponent with the item and press R. Your character should throw the item and when the item hits your opponent, it will damage them. If you throw a Fire Flower at an enemy, and it hits them, they will burn. You can do this trick also with the Beam Sword, Homerun Bat, and Fan.

Easy Beats

Beat Ness Easily - To beat Ness Easily, I would advise being Samus or Pikachu. With Pikachu, get under him and use Thunder, and then if he's about to attack get away quickly with Quick Attack. Then Repeat the process. With Samus, Use your "Z" or "R" shield a lot, and charge up your blaster. Hit him once, then dodge for a while and keep hitting him with A attacks. When he gets to 70% or higher, throw him off, and when he comes back (if he does) do screw attack in the air to give him even more damge. Then throw again, and repeat the process.

Beat Master Hand Easily - To beat Master Hand easily jump away from his attacks (or run away). For example when he gets ready to shoot missles triple jump and chances are he won't hit you (I'm usually Fox).

Beat Captain Falcon Easily - Captain Falcon is fast but you can cut down his attacking level by constantly throwing him in the acid. If you keep on repeating this then he will eventually die.

Beat Jigglypuff Easily - To kill jigglypuff easily, throw every thing you can at him so he can't put you asleep, and if he does sing use a distant move or drop kick him.

Pop-Up Attack

This is more for fun than actual usefulness. Choose a character that can get long air time and that has an attack that propels him upward (like Kirby's cutter attack or Link's spin attack). Next, choose a stage where you can go through the bottom of the floor (Congo Jungle or Planet Zebes). During battle if your opponent is on the ground, fall under the arena, jump in mid-air underneath your opponent, and then do their Up+B attack. You should go through the floor and surprise the enemy.

Clean the Pipes

Only in the secret Mushroom Kingdom stage can you do this. Stand on one of the pipes where the piranha plants come out of (those red things) and press down on the control stick. Your character will pose and get sucked down the pipe and come out on the other side. Be careful, as sometimes you'll appear in a booby trap in the center pit. a triple jump will free you of it. This trick really helps when you have three people on a team breathing down your neck.

Sensitive Jigglypuffs

When you hurt a Jigglypuff you'll notice that their eyes turn a different color. Pause it right when you hit one it starts to have tears in its eyes. When you shock one with a Pikachu and it turns black you can see a tear. It makes you feel soryy for a while...a while!

Play as Clefairy?

First make sure you've unlocked Jigglypuff. Go to VS. and battle. Pick Kirby and Jigglypuff. Use Kirby's vaccum (B) to suck Jigglypuff up and press B to have its B power. Press Start to look at your character it looks similar to Clefairy, a Pokemon.

Get 999% Damage Easily

This code requires an item switch, set it to shells. Next, pick a character (Fox is preferred) now go to Saffron City and wait for a red turtle shell. Go on top of the platform that the Pokemon come out of go as far as one item box and throw your turtle shell in the air and use your reflector (B+UP ) and hold it. The turtle shell should break your reflector and hit you until you have 999% of damage. If this doesn't work keep trying ( if not Fox just use your shield).

Keep Your Opponent off the Platforms

Use the following moves when playing as the indicated character to knock and keep your opponent off the platforms.

Mario and Luigi - Press B to throw a fireball when they try to come back.

Ness - Press B for the PK Thunder if they come near your character in the air.

Yoshi - If you are near the end of the platform, wait for your opponent to approach. Then, press B to turn them into an egg. If you are close enough to the edge, the egg will make them fall and they will not be able to get back up.

Donkey Kong - After knocking an opponent off, press B to charge up the punch. Use the punch when they are close enough while in the air.

Kirby - Press Up + B near the edge when your opponent approaches.

Link - Press B to throw the boomerang after knocking them off the platform and they try to get close again.

Fox - Press B to keep firing the blaster.

Samus - Press B to charge up the gun, then shoot it when a knocked off opponent returns.

Pikachu - Jump and press B to shoot a little ball of electricity. If it hits a returning opponent, they will be paralyzed.

Jigglypuff - Press B to use the lunging punch when a returning opponent is close enough.

Captain Falcon - Press B to use the Falcon Punch when your opponent tries to return.

Do More Damage With Pokeballs

If you want to do more damage with your pokeballs then once you get them, jump up into the air and throw the pokeball downwards onto an enemy. If you happen to get a goldeen then at least the pokeball hit your opponent and that did some damage.

Kirby Combo

This is an excellent combo that you can use against the final boss (the Master Hand) if you are playing as Kirby. First, avoid the hand's attacks until he does an attack that leaves him vulnerable (like the attack where he rockets into the background and comes down from the right). Then, jump over him and press A to do your spinning kick attack on him. You will get around 8 hits with this attack. As soon as you land, press up and A for a quick punch. Finally, finish the combo with a Final Cutter attack (up-B). If you do this right you will take off around 40-50% of his HP meter. This is good if you have Jigglypuff or Yoshi on your side in a team battle as well, since you need to stop your enemy's movement for this combo (and those two can help you do so).

Battle Scenarios

Tired of the same boring battles? These are some good battle ideas if you decide to have a Smash Brothers party. They are all matchups that are funny to watch (and play). Here are some scenarios to play:

PokeWars
How many players?: 3 (no teams)
Characters: any characters
Level: Saffron city
Anything else? : Use only Pokeballs and set area (ex. 1 person get the area
with the 2 pattforms that go up and down, 1 person gets the middle NOT with
the thing where the pokemon pop out, and the last person gets the thing where
the pokemon pop out and the helicopter landing pad.) Have Fun!

Mario Brothers vs. DK
Teams: 3 vs. 1 (Turn off teams to get Wario costume, but don't attack
teammates!)
Characters: Mario, Luigi, Mario (with Wario costume) vs. Donkey Kong
Level: Any (Classic Mushroom Kingdom or Congo Jungle preferred)
Anything Else?: If you have item switch, set it up to only allow hammers in
battle.....

A Romantic Battle?
Teams: 2 vs. 2 (Turn off teams so that you can change colors, but don't
attack your teammate)
Characters: Kirby and Jigglypuff vs. Yoshi (Blue) and Yoshi (Pink)
Level: Any (works better if you have platforms out of the way for the
girlfriends-Saffron or Mushroom Kingdom are good choices)
Anything Else?: Leave Jigglypuff and the Pink Yoshi out of the battle area to
cheer on their men, and use their taunts when their teammate is doing well
(or reverse for a catfight....)

Hey, Get Off My Ship!!!
Teams: 2 vs. 1
Characters: Samus and Capt. Falcon vs. Fox McCloud
Level: Sector Z
Anything Else?: Turn on only Beam Sword for a classic space battle!

Who is the Cutest???
Free-For-All (no teams)
Characters: Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Yoshi, Ness (or Kirby if you don't have Ness
yet)
Level: Dream Land or Yoshi's Island
Anything Else?: Not really, but if you can figure out anything that can make
this funnier, try it out!

Hey, You're Not a Pokemon.....
Teams: 2 vs. 1
Characters: Yoshi vs. Pikachu and Jigglypuff
Level: Saffron City
Anything Else?: Turn on only Pokeballs!

Not Gorons, but Close Enough.....

Anything Else?: No, but try to use Link's bombs as much as possible....

Anything Else?: Turn on only Pokeballs and baseball bats (the bats are the
Pikachus' "presents")

We're Gonna Settle This, Right Now....
Free-for-all (no teams, three players only)
Characters: Mario, Wario (Mario w/costume), Luigi
Level: Classic Mushroom Kingdom (Peach's Castle if no Mushroom Kingdom)
Anything Else?: Turn on only Fire Flowers....

Team: 2 vs.1
Characters: Mario,Luigi vs. Ness (If you dont have ness cant do this =[ )
Level:Any (Kirbys place or Yoshis place is nice)
Anything Else?:Play as Luigi or Mario and put Ness at 1 power level and have
fun

A Classic Battle Scenario...

Okay, this trick I made up is a classic take over the world kind of thing.
First you need a villain, (Ness or Capt. Falcon) his henchman, (DK) and a
hero.(Whoever as long as it's not who you picked as the villain or henchman.
Best choice is Link) The arenas are seperatly labled. The Congo Jungle is the
henchman's hideout, the Yoshi world is the home of the Yoshi's, Saffron city
is the home of the Pokemon and the roof of the hospital, the mushroom kingdom
is the inside of the hospital, the spaceship is the villian's mode of
transportation, Wispy woods is the home of the Kirby's, Hyrule castle is the
hero's home world, and planet Zebes is the jail.

Story

Okay, the villain (best as Ness if you got him) is trying to take over by enslaving
all of the worlds in the game, with all the races conquered he will. Using his
spaceship he flies to each world and conquers them all but the world of the pokemon.
Your first battle against him is now. Defeat him and follow him to his spaceship. If
you win you go to the jail, where Ness is trying to break out, with a jail gaurd(Samus)
you have to thwart his attack. Lose and get transported to the hospital. At the
hospital you have to fight two Dk's with jigglypuff on your side. If you win you battle
them again in the hospital (Mushroom Kingdom) to get away. If you lose the battle on the
hospital roof then you lost the game. After that it's up to you to make new adventures.

Character Roles

Link- Hero
Ness or Capt. Falcon- Villain
DK- Henchman
Yoshi's, Kirby's,Mario Brother's and poke
