| Pokemon Gold and Silver is set to hit the shelfs in America on September 16-17, 2000. They will both come out on the same date, much like the older Red and Blue versions of Pokemon. Pokemon Gold and Silver will likely be sold out everywhere within the third day of the release date, because, unlike Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow, Pokemon Gold and Silver is an expansion of all of the older versions, with many new features, making the game much more fun, enjoyable, and different. Here are some of the new features: 1. Instead of just having a bike, in Gold and Silver, you also get a skateboard. 2. There is day and night, meaning that certain Pokemon will only appear at day, some only at night. 3. New Pokedex features, such as containing info for the some of the pre-evolutions of Pokemon. 4. All Pokemon are different sexes {male or female}, meaning that you can breed Pokemon to have baby Pokemon. As a result, you get a different speices {pre-evolution} of the Pokemon that you bred! It is also rumored that you can cross-breed different species of Pokemon. 5. 100 new Pokemon! 6. New gym-leaders. 7. New towns. 8. New characters. 9. New items, such as PokeGear. 10. BETTER GRAPHICS! These are just some of the many new features in Pokemon Gold and Silver. I HIGHLY RECOMEND TO PARENTS THAT IF THEY HAVE A SON-DAUGHTER WHO LOVES POKEMON AND HAS A GAMEBOY THAT THEY BUY POKEMON GOLD AND/OR SILVER THE SECOND THAT THEY SEE IT IN STORES, BECAUSE YOU'LL BE LUCKY IF YOU DO SEE ANY COPIES OF THE GAMES.
