What is Pokémon?
Pokémon, short for Pocket Monsters, started out to be a Game Boy game in Japan, made by Game Freak Inc. Then it grew popular, migrated into the U.S., and trhen became a hit T.V. Show.
How many versions of the Pokémon games are there?
Well, there are currently 6 for Game Boy for Japan. Green, Red/Blue, Yellow, Gold/Silver, versions for GB. Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 for Nintendo 64. Genki denchu (a virtual pet thing) for N64, and Smash Brothers for Nintendo 64.
Is there a movie?
Yep, currently Pokemon; The First movie (AKA Mewtwo Strikes Back & Pikachu's Vacation) for U.S.. There is also two more coming out for Japan.
How many 'Pokémon' are there?
Well in Red/Blue, Green, and Yellow version games for GB, there are 151. But in Gold/Silver for Japan contains 151 new Pokémon.
Will The Green Version of Pokemon ever come out in the U.S.? If so, when?
Well the green version will probably never come out for U.S., since it isn't really popular in Japan. So why waste time translating it?
Which pokemon stadium is coming out in USA? The japanese #1 or the japanese #2?
Pokemon Stadium 2 is coming out for U.S., because Stadium 1 is already out, and well too late. And it only has 30 Pokemon to battle with, a very small amount. So the developers for Nintendo decide to make a PS 2 for U.S., instead of translating PS 1 for U.S.
