99 of an Item
To have 99 of an item first put the item that you want 99 of in the sixth slot of your item list. Then talk to the old man in Virdian City, that teaches you how to catch Pokemon. Say no, and watch him catch a Pokemon. Then fly to Cinnababr Island, and surf on the half land, half water place on the right shore of Cinnabar Island. You should comfort a MissingNo. DO NOT CATCH IT. Either kill it or run away. Now check your item list and you should have 99 of the item in the sixth slot.
Battle Safari Zone Pokemon
If you want to battle Pokémon from the Safari Zone, first go to the Safari Zone and pick the area with the rare Pokémon you would like to catch. Wait for time to run out. Exit the building and fly to Cinnabar Island. don't battle any other Pokémon. On the island, go to the east side. Use surf. Go up and down the side (half water, half land) side, and only that side of the island. You will encounter Pokémon from the Safari Zone.
Bike Music without Riding
When your in a cave like Seafoam Island or Mount Moon, start riding your bike and fall down a hole. You won't be riding on a bicycyle but the bicycle song still plays.*Cut Down Grassy Areas
Tired of battles happening every 10 seconds? Well one way to avoid battles is to cut down the grassy areas with monsters. Once you have done this monsters can't attack you.
Find all Five Moon Stones
There are only five Moon Stones around the game. Below is a list of where they are.
1) The upper-left hand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon
2) Right before the fossils in Mt. Moon
3) Before you enter the house that leads to Virdian Forest, use cut on one of the bushes to the right. One of the Pokeballs is a Moon Stone.
4) The basement of Celadon Game Corner
5) Enter the Cinnabar Mashion. There will be boxes to the left and to the right of you. Chack the fifth box to the right.
Fish in Misty's Gym
To fish in Misty's Gym, just face one of the statues and pull out the old rod, and it will be just like you are fishing in water
Free Coins
If you move around in the Celadon Game Corner and press "A" then you will find coins lying around on the floor.

Get your Diploma
To get your Diploma in the game, capture all 150 Pokemon in the game, and then go to the Game Freak Building and talk to the guy on the second floor, that is not on a computer, he will then give you your diploma. In the Japanese game the guy gives you Mew the 151st Pokemon.
Level 100 Pokemon - Japan Version
To make one of your Pokemon level up to level 100 instantly, before a battle to the 7th item in your item list. After that hit the select button. Get into a battle. Push select next to a move you want to get rid of. It will magically change. Win the battle. The Pokemon will become level 100 and will evolve if it doesn't require a stone or a trading to occur.
Phantom PC
In Celedon City go to the hotel in the bottom right corner and go inside. Walk where the computer would be in a Pokémon Center and press A. Now you can use this area to deposit and withdraw Pokemon, and items.
Rare Pokemon Evolutions
Some of the Pokemon will not evolve unless you trade them with somebody else. Trading will change Machoke into Machamp, Graveler into Golem, Haunter into Genger, and Kadabra into Alakazam
For some Pokemon to evolve you need to use special stones. Here is a chart with all the lists of Pokemon that need stones.
Give Pikachu a thunder stone and it evolves into Raichu
Give Nidorina a moon stone and it evolves into Nidoqueen
Give Nidorino a moon stone and it evolves into Nidoking
Give Clefairy a moon stone and it evolves into Clefable
Give Vulpix a fire stone and it evolves into Ninetales
Give Jigglypuff a moon stone and it evolves into Wigglytuff
Give Gloom a leaf stone and it evolves into Vileplume
Give Growlithe a fire stone and it evolves into Arcanine
Give Poliwhirl a water stone and it evolves into Poliwrath
Give Weepinbell a leaf stone and it evolves into Victreebell
Give Shellder a water stone and it evolves into Cloyster
Give Exeggcute a leaf stone and it evolves into Exeggutor
Give Staryu a water stone and it evolves into Starmie
Give Eevee a water stone and it evolves into Vapereon
Give Eevee a thunder stone and it evloves into Jolteon
Give Eevee a fire stone and it evolves into Flareon
You can buy every stone except the Moon Stone at Celadon Dept. Store.
Special Pokemon
There are many trainers who you can trade with, but four of them will give a Pokemon you can find no where else.
Cerulean City, He will trade Jynx for Poliwhirl.
Vermilion City, He will trade Farfetch'd fo Spearow.
Route 18, He will trade Lickitung for Slowbro.
Route 2, He will trade Mr. Mime for Abra.
Master Ball Cheat
When you throw a greatball hold up and b it will act as a master ball.(hint: hold it right before it hits the pokemon) Or it might be down and b and you can also use down a A when the pokeball is just about to close
Duplicate PokéMon
This code let's you double a rare Pokémon, but the other Pokémon is deleted. First, have one person select a rare Pokémon or one that is at higher level than yours. Second, have the other person select an easy one to get like Pidgey or Ratatta. Then have the person the has the rare Pokémon turn thier Game Boy off as soon as it says WAITING!. Then have the person with the common one turn thier Game Boy off. If all this was done correctly, you each should have the rare Pokémon, and the common one should be gone.
Mewtwo Bonus Stage
To get the Mewtwo bonus stage, play both bonus stages per table (ie Seel and Meowth stages on the blue table, Gengar and Diglett on red.) The next bonus stage will be Mewtwo's stage. |
