CONFIGURATION MODE

On the Title screen, simultaneously hold Down, B and Select. Use the controller to select different options and change them. Press A on "Sound Test" to enter that screen.

BONUS GAME

On the Title screen, simultaneously hold Up, A and Select, and the word "Extra" will appear on the screen. Press Start to begin the bonus game.

HOW TO GET MEW

Clear the Mewtwo Bonus Stage more than twice in one game, and go to Indigo Plateau (either table will work.) Activate the three Catch 'em Arrows on the right of the board and enter the Pokemon in the top right of the board to activate Catch 'em Mode. The chance of the Pokemon that appears being Mew is 1 in 16. Note: You cannot catch Mew like a normal Pokémon. Mew will automatically be recorded in the Pokédex if you do not lose your ball during Catch 'Em Mode.

CATCH POKEMON EASILY

This trick allows you to fight and catch the Pokemon easily with any kind of ball.

1. Get into a battle with any Pokemon.

2. Use a ball on them. Any kind of ball will work. If you have difficulty using normal Poke balls, try more powerful ones to increase your chances even more.

3. As soon as you see the ball explode, press and hold the B Button. The timing for this is very important. You must press B just as the ball explodes, which can be difficult.

4. After the ball wobbles for the second time, release the B Button and you have them.

Note: This trick will not work every time, but it will increase your chances of catching them. It is not necessary to do any damage to them, but some Pokemon, like Mewtwo and Zapdos, will have to be put to sleep before the ball will hit them.

CONTINUE FOR EXPERTS

For every 100,000 points you earn as you play, you'll be able to continue once after your game ends. For example, if you earn 300,000 points the first game, you'll be able to continue three times. If you then continue your game, and score another 100,000 points, you'll "earn back" the continue you used. You can build up a maximum of nine continues.

STAGE SELECT FOR EXPERTS

After you finish the game twice in a row, you may activate the stage select by pressing A. The more you press A, the higher the stage. Press Start to begin.

EXPERT LEVEL

After you finish the game once, press any button on the Title screen and the cursor will change from a mushroom to a Mario face. Press Start to begin the expert level. You can play through again having more enemies, harder enemies, and enemies in different places.

WEIRD WARP

Pay to play the fishing game and reel in just one fish. When asked to continue, select "No." When it says "You have to have more passion," simultaneously press A, B, Start and Select for the quick-end. Select "Return to Game." You will be at the empty fishing pond. Jump in and swim off the left side of the screen (You must have Flippers). The graphics of the Raft Shop will be scrambled. Go down 1 screen to go outside and the graphics will return to normal. Note: There is no advantage in doing this code, it is just for fun.

CHANGE THE MUSIC

Select an empty file and enter ZELDA as your name. It must be all capital letters to work. The background music of the Player Select screen will change.

CHICKEN FEED

First get the Flippers and the Rooster. Go to the Raft Shop and ride the raft left to the second waterfall. Drop down the right side of it and press Select as soon as you disappear off the screen to see the map. Return to the game and you'll land on an island. You can now swim around and collect all of the items. Use the Bracelet to grab the rooster and you can collect the floating items.

SINGLE SCREEN WARP

When you find an obstacle that you cannot pass, go back to the left or right one screen. Stand on the edge of the screen. Just as you go to re-enter the screen with the obstacle, press Select. With proper timing, the map screen will appear. When you return to the game, you will be one screen over at the same spot. If you get stuck, don't save, try again!

EXPLOSIVE ARROWS

Equip both the Arrows and the Bombs, then fire them simultaneously.
