New N64 Pokemon Game? Nintendo is about to take Pokemon Gold and Silver into a new arena. According to the people at Pocketmonsters.com the characters from the popular Gameboy cartridges will soon be transplanted into the 3-D world of “Pokemon Stadium Gold and Silver” for Nintendo 64. Like the two previous Japanese Pokemon Stadium games, the new version will allow players to import characters from their Gold and Silver Gameboy cartridges into the N64 game. That means newer Pokemon such as Pichu, Entei, Lugia and others will be able to square off against old favorites. Nintendo has not announced the official release date, but screen shots such are already appearing in Japanese game magazines.

New Pokemon Movie? While North America is going ga-ga over the second Pokemon movie, “Revelation: Lugia,” people in Japan are already gearing up for the fourth flick! OK, so it won’t be released until next summer. But Japanese moviegoers who stick around to watch the closing credits in the third Pokemon movie, Lord of the Unknown Tower,” are treated to a five-second preview of the fourth installment. While the title of the new flick is not yet been revealed, the preview does confirm what has been rumored for a couple of months now: the central character will be Serebii, the ultra-mysterious 251^st Pokemon. OVERSIZED LEGENDARY BIRD PROMO! A jumbo English version of the 1997 CoroCoro card featuring the three Legendary Birds — Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos — will premiere July 20 at Warner Bros. Studio Stores in conjunction with the release of Pokemon The Movie 2000. The card will be given away with any purchase of $10 or more at a Warner Bros. Studio Store — while supplies last. The Legendary Birds promo is only the second oversized Pokémon card released in the U.S., following the the Top Deck magazine Pikachu. Although the oversized Charizard card was in English, it was a Japanese CoroCoropromo. Battle Wise If you like cards with power this is will be your fave! Talk about a powerful card, this card has 120HP a whopping 200 damage and nop weakness...this card is a definite one-hit K.O. But sadly, like the oversized Pikachu, the Warner Bros. card is not playable. It seems bird-watching has become a popular Pokemon sport this summer.
