  BE STILL  Be still and know that you are my chosen one It was for you that I sent my only son Walk in the faith that I am the King Be still and know that I made everything Be still and read my holy word Remember, to always praise the Lord Be thankful in everything you do For, then I will send my blessings to you. Be still and know that I hold your hand And I will help you to understand Be still and know that I guide your way For, I am the one that walks with you every day. Be still and know that I have given you true love For, that is why my son came from heaven above Seek me each day, as you walk along Be still and know that I will make you strong. Be still and know that Jesus is your friend He will carry you til life's end Be still and know that I will never leave Be still, have faith and believe. Copyright © Sunneeblu2@aol.com Mary M Henderson Date: July 8, 2000 ONE LITTLE BOY One little boy touched our hearts long ago This was God's plan to show us the way His loving kindness made it so We could leave our burdens at the cross each day. One little boy grew up to be a man The love of his Father he wanted us to see When, we give our lives to him, he'll help us understand Just the way, we are supposed to be. One little boy wore thorns upon his head Some people never listened to the stories he told Or saw the thousands that he fed They'll never walk upon the streets of gold. One little boy died upon a cross of wood As, darkness fell upon the land Forgiving our sins, as He shed his blood God called, his little boy home, carrying him in his hand. He knew that we were both alone In this friendship we would grow Our hearts no longer needed to roam Together we would feel at home. Withal the joys and tears we shared Its nice to know someone cared The many stories we have told Your friendship is valued more than gold. Thank you Lord, for carrying me each day Help me, to Trust you in every way Forgiving my sins deep within my heart Your love was there from the very start. Henderson Sunneeblu2@aol.com WHAT IF What if the Lord withdrew from us Shut the door, when we did wrong Closed the bridge between us and Jesus We would be standing alone. What if He told us He could take no more pain After, all the times we said, "No," to him His mansion we would not gain Then, who would forgive our sins? What if the Lord turned and walked away Closed his ears to our cries What if He stopped carrying us today Despite, all the tears from our eyes. The God I serve from up above Does not use, "What if's" to me Jesus is Lord and full of love This is the way its supposed to be. When, your thinking this in your mind Remember, the sacrifice He made on the tree Turn and give Jesus all of your time He has enough love for you and me. Don't let the 'what ifs' creep into your head Its the way, Satan tries to make you believe Just, rebuke him in Jesus name, instead Don't listen when he tries to deceive. Copyright © Mary M.
