My Picture

LOVELY STRANGER

Who is this Lovely Stranger?
that brings such a joy to my heart.

Unable to open it,
of my own strength,
Yet this Lovely Stranger
opens it freely.

When I thought all words lost,
meaningless.
Never to be written again,
this Lovely Stranger comes into
No, within my life
and puts a new smile on my face.

This Lovely Stranger -
has filled voids
I thought unfillable,
opened closed ideas,
taught unteachables
and placed a yearning in my heart for more.

This Lovely Stranger has become an integral piece of my life,
each day revealing
some new part of herself,
etching herself upon my soul.
She is my constant companion.

Who is this Lovely Stranger?
She is my dearest friend.

CAPTURED STILL

Captured by a loving heart,
A stillness,
that's so sweet.
Soothing touch that I can feel,
If only she were real.

Loving voice that I can't hear,
Tenderness, in a written word.
Ears that struggle to hear a sound,
I'm lifted off the ground.

Smooth and supple is her skin,
Bathed, in glowing beauty.
Eyes that long to see your face,
And feel your soft embrace.

My heart is taken, split in two,
Aroused, by your affection.
Speak to me without being heard,
And my heart forever captured.

CAPTURED IN FEAR

My love is lonely,
Lost in your soul ...
Captured, but not beckoned,
Free me from this hole.

Your voice eludes me,
My captured heart is still ...
And with eyes that cannot see,
I can't escape your will.

Speak without saying a word,
Call so I can hear ...
Captured in your moment,
Satisfy my fear.

Will you always love me?
My heart it cannot bear ...
The thought of being captured,
By one who doesn't care.

CAPTURED IN TIME

This is for a friend I just met, with only written
words as our communication, who is so strong,
and I believe very caring, giving and loving and
I've never even met her.

Captured In Time

Her voice I hear in written words,
Imagining ... a cooing dove,
A flowing sound in timeless rhythm,
A heart that shows only love.

Her sounds caress with careful tones,
Rhapsody ... with softened eyes,
Her beating heart a plea for love,
The music from her cries.

Her seductive waves of midnight delight,
Deliriously ... captured and content,
With motions of raging storms within,
She gives without relent.

Her story ends with emotions drained,
Captured ... like a river's might,
Her love holds no border, no time,
Her radiance still a brilliant light.

TORMENTED SOUL

Torment
and Fear,
Upon the floor ...

Tears
and Pain,
Distort my face ...

Anguish
and Anger,
Tears at my heart ...

Rage
and Confusion,
Losing control ...

The Why's
and When's,
Uncontrollable sobs ...

Dreams
and Family,
Died in sins ...

Love
and Life,
Lost in lies ...

Bitter
and Sweet,
Is my death ...

THE WHISPER

I walk
up
behind
You ...

My fingers
trace
your
shoulders,
riding,
slowly
down
your arms “You are so soft, so lovely”

My warm
breath
streams
along the
cool
softness
of your
skin “You are so beautiful”

And you
fall
back,
pressing
ever so
slightly
against me,
tingling “I want you”

Skin
touching
skin,
feeling every
breath,
every touch,
eyes closed,
shortness
of breath,
my hands
cupping
your
breasts.
I need you.

Your arms
folding
over
mine
in a
sweet
embrace,
your head
resting
on my
shoulders.
Let me love you.

My lips
tickling
the soft
hairs
along
your neck,
kissing,
loving,
warm,
moist.
I love you so much.

NEVER LET ME FALL

Sing to me, your sweet songs,
When I’m sad, when I fall,
I will love you always.

Then hold me tight
Bathe me, in your arms,
When I’m alone, when I call.
I will be there for you.

Then don’t let me go
Bring me joy, fill my heart,
When it cries, when it breaks -
I will mend your sorrows.

Then treat me right
Smile for me, bring me laughter,
When I’m tired, when life takes, I will be your strength.

Then love me so -
Tell me always, that I’m pretty,
When I’m lost, when I’m down. ”You are so lovely”

Then whisper to me

Guide me endlessly, hold my hand,
When I’m weak, on the ground
I will never let you go”

Then catch me,
never let me fall”

HOW CAN IT BE

How can it be,
That a night without you
can be so miserable,
Yet,
A day with you
has never existed.

How can it be,
That everyday we
touch each other,
Yet,
You are never
here.

How can it be,
That life can go
on when we’re apart,
Yet,
Without you it’s
never started.

How can it be,
That my days
exist at all,
Yet,
They never have
without you.

How can it be,
That love can
be experienced,
Yet,
Love isn’t real
if your not apart of it.

How can it be?

ONLY FOR YOU

I struggle to understand,
sometimes
Why I feel this way, this way I feel about You.
But all I know is,
That I do.

My heart pounds in a thunderous rapture,
every time I hear your words upon my straining ears.

My body shakes like the waves upon the ocean,
turning and rolling, wave upon wave,
with every pretty smile that greets my sightless eyes.

My palms sweat like the morning dew upon the grass,
when I feel your voice,
and my mouth quivers like wheat tossed by the wind,
as I strain to kiss your lips.

My skin tingles from your touch,
the touch that I long to feel,
like a warm pouring rain upon my lifeless body.

Everyday I’m awakened by you,
within me to greet my day,
and my only breath speaks, I miss you,
from a parched throat,
that has called out your name
throughout the night.

My mind staggers in silent screams,
like the beat of a thousand drums,
pounding in repetitious chaos,
as I search in vain for you.

These feelings I cannot deny,
like the stars that fill the sky
or the moon that shimmers in my soul.

But all I know is, that I do,
only for you.

DREAMS - WINDOW REFLECTIONS

Raindrops roll down outside my window,
Misty morning light,
My own reflection in the glass,
And dreams of you in white.

You come to me from across the time,
Yet so far away,
Wonders of life and love so real,
If only you could stay.

Window reflections of only me,
Saturate my eyes,
Should a love like this exist,
With so many sad goodbye’s.

With arms that stretch across the horizon,
Wanting to pull you near,
Only my dreams in the rainy reflection,
Bring me to shed a tear.

MY SOUL IS YOURS

Looking at these pictures of you,
I almost believe they’re real.

These clouds of joy carry me away,
The bonding that we weave,
an unbroken seal.

My heart is like the thunder,
The lightening my desire.

A smile recognized, a soft kiss,
ignites my fire.

My yearning unmatched,
For the love within your being.

Your simplest words,
Electrifying my soul,
knowing what I’m needing.

My attempts to tell you,
What emits from my heart,
ramblings at best.

But know my love,
My soul is yours,
to this I can attest.
