My Picture

MYSTERIA

I have often found myself looking at the stars,
Dreaming of a wonderful and peaceful place.
I would imagine that I lived in this paradise,
But in reality it would just be a simple thought.

I named this place Mysteria, every thought
Imagined would be magnified tenfold,
Every object would just take me away from
The chaos in the reality of existence.

I would always be heartbroken to wake up
From this place, for I knew that I would only
have to run away to this place which would
Be forbidden from the chaotic world.

STRINGS

Everyone is against me, only I can believe
In my own thoughts. Yet I feel that I
Am out of control with everything. There is
Something among my tattered soul, which
I have yet to understand, and I get
Tangled in a lonely sorrow's darkness.

I can take this silence no longer! Even
The air lays still to this dreadful overcast,
Which hangs not only overhead, but also
In my soul. I scream to break the
Chaotic Peacefulness, yet no one hears
My long, and agonizing yell for help.

No matter how much I run, I am always
In the same place. Fearing the inevitable
I fall to my knees shedding my unknown
Tears to the ground which lies before me.
All of a sudden I stand again, as if
I was picked up and put in my place.

I look unto my arms and see thin lines
Which rise above me. My feet and other
Parts among me had strings on them as well.
Pondering, I look up and I become confused,
For I see a giant which looks like me. He
Held the strings and moved me about.

Finally stopping the endless movement, I
Cry to myself because of those I hurt.
I cry for those I turned my back upon,
Because I truly understand this emotion.
All the time I thought myself to be out
Of control, I was the one in control...

The times you think that you are out of
Control, think twice, because you always were.

DESOLATE BATTLE

A cold wind blows, storms appear,
The worst is now known about our fear.
Trembling with hate and dispair so clear,
Why must life at time be without cheer?

Shadows amongst us, twirling around,
Holding our silence is so profound.
Listening to the non-existant sound
We hid as our hearts beat and pound.

Desolation upon us, wasting away,
Holding ourselves prisoner in the month of May.
Destroying us without a word or say,
Cannot we live peace one lonesome day.

Fighting with passion, our swords in hand,
We slay the dragon, and we still stand.
Taking out victory to tell other lands,
Our battle is never over on desolate sands.

WHY THESE WORDS I WRITE

There are many moments when I carry sorrowful burdens,
And hold it all inside. I try to keep the darkness within,
But there is only one way to contain its chaotic pride.
The shivering of my soul, the scars of my life, I have yet
To find a solution to make it all disappear into eternity.

There are many ways to run from the pain, and ways to
Ignore its simple strain. Yet time allows it to return
One hundred fold. I can contain the agony for a long
Struggling time, except when it turns into my worst fear.
The fear of being alone and seen only by shadows.

If I do not write my words of emotion, I fall into a deep
Depression. To some it may seem as an obsession.
Only I call it a love that will never leave me, or a friend
That will never turn its back. They are the words I set
Upon the paper before me. The gate to all hope within me.

It allows me to fulfill my heart's pain by setting it upon
A poem which deals with love. Many think that it is
Sad or happy, and even at times lovely, but to me it
Is a hope to extinguish the scars of my past and to
Return me to the real world which lies before my wet eyes.

LOST IN THOUGHT

Lost in thought I imagine the dark ages,
Where dragons soared with wings spread
Wide piercing the untamed sky. I see
Knights of glory and loyalty to their King,
With an apprentice following his hopes
And dreams, to find a solemn, silent stare.

Lost in thought I live in a peaceful
World that no longer tolerates the wicked,
Destruction of war. Everyone works
Together, and none are left alone.
Yet something seems out of place, this
World is not the truth, it is not real.
Lost in thought, I wish never to wake,
For I would return to my everlasting
Battle that I grow tiresome from, with
Only a hope that things will change. A
Hope, or dream it simply is not around.
For to my thoughts I am only shortly abound.

MYSTIC BATTLE

Dark meadows containing power,
Neither two backing away to cower.
Only the fittest will succeed the hour,
Even the dark clouds tend to shower.

Staff to sword, with wits and skill,
Both boiling with rage for the kill.
Never stopping to rest from the thrill,
The wind giving its winter chill.

The one in colored robes stands back,
Thinking of magic as his next attack.
His eyes glows as he releases the pack,
Wolves charging with no fear or slack.

Fending off the predators knawing bites,
Swinging his sword with all his might.
Taking lead over the wild cunning fight,
Has pride of his spilt blood not fright.

The warrior charges with sword in hand,
Hoping to be the only one left to stand.
Striking and slashing anywhere he can,
Leaving a wound or two upon this man.

Parrying, blocking with his might within,
Conquering the pain that is outside in.
Casting a spell, hoping to put an end,
To his enemy's fate and life's trend.

A cold wind blows with storms so near,
The mage casting death to his peer.
Bringing up the warriors untamed fears,
Watching him fall to his knees in tears.

Dropping his sword and draws his dagger,
Stands slowly with a sudden stagger.
Lunging forth slashing even faster,
Hoping that we will become the master.

Dripping with blood for scavengers to feast,
They both were destroyed by the internal beast.
Blade and magic were weapons, none the least,
But nothing was conquered in the ending peace.
