I almost broke my promise today,
I just about loved another.
I almost found the one who was right for me,
I thoght for sure that her and I were meant to be.
Then I looked over and saw my heart,
Lying on my bed torn apart.
After I heard the crying rain,
I knew I would never forget the pain.
Because I fell for you,
But sometimes I don't know when loves true.
Then I look into the stars of the night,
And remember our first night thrill.

Not only because my heart says no.
