They walked to Peweter City, where Brock's old gym is located. Ever since he left some one else had to take his job as gym leader. It's not that he missed it though. "I want to see the sorry sod who took my job," Brock snickered to himself. Katie glared and him, and he stopped. Not wanting to cause any trouble. They approached the gym and Brock's "no good father" came out. A questioned look on his face. "Why are YOU here?" He looked at Ash. "I'm with her," Ash said as he pointed to Katie. Brock's dad crossed his arms and closed his eyes as he said, "Another hopeless." This statement enraged Katie and she lifted her arm and concentrated, she was going to throw him. He flew! He dashed through the air like a bird, Katie lowered her hand as he hit the side of a tree. He gasped for air and dare not say another word. "Al contraire," Katie said grinning. Katie looked at her three newfound friends and didn't stop grinning, proud of her achievement. Brock crossed his arms and scowled at her, she lifted up her arm, but Misty, being the only one brave enought to deal with her ordered her to put it down. "Use your powers in the gym, not here!"
Katie stood inside the gym and there stood the gym leader. Tall and thin, his chin narrow with black hair, with a slight mix of blonde, his brown eyes shined. Katie saw him and her face went blank. "How do you expect to beat me. I am Andie the great, not a person alived has defeated me." His voise what whispy and scratchy, kind of like an older person would sound. "'Pose there's a time and a chance that anything could happen," a smart aleck, higher voice than his own. "Just because you're a 'pretty girl' doesn't mean I'll go easy on you." Andie said. Misty murmured, "That's sounds familiar."
Katie took a step forward and Andie comes into a better sight. Andie tossed out his Pokèball, which contained a Geodude, Katie toseed out her Pikachu. Ash tried to stop her from doing somethink like that, but Katie convinced him that her Pikachu was trained better than his was.
"Thunder Agility," Katie commanded. Ash stood there wide eyed. Two attacks, he thought, That's strange. "Two attacks," Andie hissed. "No one," Katie grinned as her Pikachu performed Thunder Agility which immediately took out his Geodude. "All right it's your turn, Snubble!" A pink dog like thing came out of Andie's Pokeball. Katie stared at it wide-eyed, she had never seen that thing before. I know what I'll call, Katie thought, then said, "Go Abra." Andie stared at the sleeping thing for a moment and laughed. |
