Ash, Misty, and Brock walked through a woods. Pikachu being the laggard of the bunch followed a few feet behind. Togepi was snuggled in Misty’s arms, he yawned and cuddled. “Yeah, uh Ash can we sleep for the night we are all tired. I think we should,” Misty said whining. Ash shrugged his shoulders and looked toward Brock. He outstretched his arms and yawned while shaking his head no. “Well okay fine,” Ash said with a yawn in his voice. They all settled down to go to sleep.

The next morning Ash, Misty, Brock, and Togepi woke up to Pikachu shocking them. “STOP IT PIKACHU!!!” Ash shouted. Pikachu, seeing the anger in Ash’s eyes, stopped. Pikachu walked over to Ash’s Pokéballs and opened them with out any Pokemon in them. “SOME ONE STOLE MY POKÉMON!” Ash shouted in Brock’s ear. “That’s nice Ash, but truthfully did you have to shout that in my…” Brock said but was interrupted by a Pikachu, it wasn’t Ash’s but someone else’s. “Pika, Pikachu,” this Pikachu said it had a much lower and solid voice then Ash’s Pikachu. “Pika,” Ash’s Pikachu responded. The other Pikachu started running and then Pikachu willingly followed. They runned into a town. As soon as they saw Pikachu they began throwing rotten vegetables at Ash, Misty, Brock, and Togepi. A man walked up to them. “I am Ash. Why are you throwing things at us we are just Pokemon trainers? We are harmless,” Ash said. “You are Pokemon trainers all trainers are Rockets,” the man said. “But we aren’t Rockets, we’re just a bunch of kids,” Brock said. “So is the Rocket here. She is a leader of the Rockets along with Giovanni. She is evil, she stole all of our Pokemon and ran off. She used her powers of telekinesis on…” the man said then his voice trailed off. Remembering that time the girl stole his Pokemon then she used her powers to make him to hit the ground. “Telekinesis, not that,” Ash said. “Is she anything like the gym leader Sabrina?” Misty asked. “Worse,” the man said. “I want to meet this girl. “I’ll defeat her,” Ash said sounding headstrong. “Over there,” the man said while he pointed a building that is slightly bigger then the rest. Ash ran to the building, Pikachu and the gang followed. The went into the building and took 2 flights of steps up to the top. They found a girl with Ash’s Pokeballs, and she was handing them to Giovanni. Ash, idiotically, ran out into the middle of the room. “HEY those are MY Pokemon,” Ash said. “And?” the girl said. “What are you going to do about it? You are just a boy,” the girl ended. “You are just a girl,” Ash said. “Just,” the girl said as she stuck out her hand. Ash flew back. Wait a second this isn’t right you have to be born with this power, Ash thought, that must mean she’s no that can’t be. Brock was hypnotized by the girl, she saw him approach her she she made him fly back. “So what if I’m only 14 I have the powers of my family,” the girl said. “Your family?” Ash asked. “My sister. Destroyed everything, the house collapsed. I knowing my powers it frightened me also so I ran off at age four. She was only 2 at the time she destroyed my home. This story is so clear to me, just an awful part of my past,” the girl said then lowered her head. A tear dripped from her eye. “You have probably already defeated my sister. She is a gym leader,” the girl said. That can’t be she is Sabrina’s sister that isn’t right, Ash thought. “You are Sabrina’s sister?” Misty said confused. “I don’t want to talk about it,” the girl said then stopped. “What is your name?” Brock asked seriously. “Katie,” Katie said. “Pikachu,” her Pikachu said as he came out of hiding behind her. “PIKA!” Ash’s Pikachu said. Ash bent down to Katie’s Pikachu and was about to pet it. “You don’t want to do that. He doesn’t like anyone but me!” Katie said, “He’ll shock anyone else.” Ash laid his hand on the Pikachu’s head. ZAP! Katie’s Pikachu zapped him! “I told you not to touch him you moron,” Katie said with dignity for calling Ash a name. “Say what?” Ash asked. Katie didn’t answer him she just snickered. “She called you a name,” Giovanni said. “Why don’t you all just leave,” Katie suggested, “unless you want to come out of her with bumps and bruises.” “Fine then I will,” Ash said. Ash Ketchum you’re a genius, you know what to do, if she joins you, you’re sure to beat the Pokemon league easily, Ash thought. “Fine,” Katie said, then she lifted her hand in the air, Ash flew back against the wall, in pain he stood. ”All I want is for you to join us. We will all meet the gym leaders again, you could battle your sister,” Ash said. Those words hit her hard, she lowered her hand and her head, she realized she had to do this. “You want me to join you, to travel around get all those badges though you already have them, you’d go through all that trouble for me?” Katie was somewhat confused at the remark, no one had ever gone through that much trouble, even the one who took her in Giovanni. “Bye Giovanni, I’m going to avenge everything my sister has caused,” Katie said as she dropped her sword on the ground. “I’ll come with you guys,” she finished. She grabbed her Pokeballs, containing, Mew, Mewtwo, Abra, Articuno, Charmander, and the one outside the Pokeball Pikachu. Then they headed to what used to be Brock’s gym.
