Game Coner blues getting you down? Can't quite get through and beat
Giovanni? Here is a tip that will solve all your problems. First, once
you've gotten to Lavender town, got left and take the path to Celedon
City. Enter the department store, and buy a poke doll. Then go back to
Lavender Town, and enter the Pokemon tower. Beat your rival, and all
the channellers in your way, and go to the place where the big ghost stops
you from proceeding. Once you're in the battle with him, use the poke doll,
and the ghost will disappear, leaving you to pass without having to get
the Silph Scope. This tip can help you get farther into the game faster
than you normally could.

Daycare tip

The number of experience points a Pokemon goes up in the Daycare
is based on the number of steps you take from the time you leave a
Pokemon to the time you pick it up. If you want to speed it up, just
ride around using the Bike. Even if the Pokemon doesn't go up a level,
you still have to pay $100.

Easy money

Every time you fight the Eliet Four and Gary, you get a total of
around $30,000. Just beat the game over and over and you can build up
money very quickly. A easy way to do it is to get Mewtwo. Using
Psychic, when fighting the Elite Four, he can knock out almost any
Pokemon in one hit. Also, each time you use TM 16, Pay Day, on one
of the Eliet Four Pokemon you get $110. For example, if you use it
seven times, you get an extra $770.

Easy way to catch Mewtwo

Just use the Master Ball. You will always catch him if you use the
Master Ball on him, even if he hasn't lost any life! If you don't have
a Master ball, try this. First get a pokemon that can put a pokemon
to sleep such as Haunter's hypnosis. Then throw a Ultra ball at him.
Get two just to be safe and you should be able to catch him.

Go to Celadon City, and find the hotel were the guy say's that it is a
"people hotel" go to the top right corner till you hit the wall. Then go
down 2 steps and look up. then you press the A button and then there is
a invisible PC. Now use it!

This is a easy way to get a Kangaskhan. to get him, first talk to the guy
in Veridian city that shows you how to catch a pokemon, then fly to
Cinnabar Island, surf to the right side of the island and surf up and

a pokemon named MissingNo at level zero. then use a rare candy on it
and it will evolve into Kangaskhan.

Get 128 items

First go to the man in Veridian city that shows you how to catch a
Weedle. Watch him and then arrange your list so that your master ball
is the sixth item on your list. then Fly to Fuisha and surf to Seafoam
Island. Don't get of the Pokemon. Surf so you are half on land and half
on water. Keep surfing until you encounter Missingno (a glitch). Run or
battle it but don't catch it. Once you beat it or run, Check your inventory
and you're sixth item will have 128 items.

Win at the game corner

At the game corner, to have a sure chance of winning, go find the guy
who says "wins seem to come and go." Under him is a machine that is
out of order. Play the machine under this one and you will win a few times.

Get over 300 coins in the game corner

In the game corner you can get over 300 coins by searching every where
on the ground. When you come through the door go up to where the Rocket
guard is standing in front of the poster. There are some machines lined
up near him. If you search in front of here (by pressing A) you will find
100 coins on the ground. In other places you can find anywhere from 5 to
20 coins on the ground.

Then look for Abra in the grass by Nugget Bridge. Use wrap so Abra can't
move. Get his power low, and throw a pokeball.

Ball and as soon as it says "(your name) used Poke Ball" hold B and

then the guy will take you to the gym again accept this time instead of
being just in front of you he will be a few steps diagonally from you. He
will end up on top of the girl who talks about Clefairys. After he leaves
you will probably find out he's not where he usually is so go through the
place where he was and continue on to Mount Moon. This code doesn't
always work!

party, you will win at the slots. If Chansey is at level 50, you win 50%
of the time. Level 60 wins 60% of the time and so on. If you have a level
100% Chansey, you will always win.

Rare pokemon tip

If you encounter a rarer pokemon in the safari zone, such as Tarus or
Kangaskhan, do not throw a rock or bait or it will run.

Hidden rare candy

In Cerulean, go to the man's house that tells you about the different badges.
In his backyard, use your itemfinder; there is a rare candy.

How to get Weedle in the blue version

Here's how to get Weedle in the blue version. Just go to Veridian Forest
and fight the FIRST bug catcher and run around without fighting the others
and you should find one.

How to get Dratini

If you are having trouble finding (or winning) Dratini, go fishing in the Safari
zone in Area I. And if you do hook it, just throw Safari Balls at it. This also
works with other Safari Zone Pokemon.

Duplicate Pokemon

Before trading pokemon, make one game have a junky pokemon and the other
have a pokemon you want to duplicate. Then go to trade center and trade the
junky one and the good one. Then at the end of the trade after "waiting" and
before "trade complete," turn the game that use to have the good pokemon off.
The other game will say trade complete. Then turn the other game off, then
turn both back on. Both games should have the good pokemon and the junky
pokemon should be gone.

Tip on beating the gyms

Heres a tip for beating the gyms easily, first before you go to the first
gym, do a lot of fighting with the wild Pokemon get to level 10, then
fight every trainer on your way to the second gym, after you defeat
Misty, go to the cruise ship, get your beginning Pokemon up to level 36,
by defeating all trainers on the ship.

Tip on raising levels

Raising the levels of Pokemon is easy if you know this trick. When you
get to Viridian City (the next city after Pallet town) buy a few poke'
balls and then go out through the mountain path to that grassy area.
Let your poke'mon fight and raise his levels. Capture any pokemon you
want and raise their levels too. If you get hurt just go back to the town
and go in the poke center. You'll get healed, and you'll have raised the
levels. This works very well until the pokemon get to level 10 then
try the next method.

On the top floor of the Celadon Dept. store there is a little girl who is
thirsty... Go buy some soda, water, and lemonade, talk to her 3 times
and give her one of the drinks each time. She will give you 3 TMs which
are very useful and will save you a lot of time trying to make you
pokemon learn them by gaining levels.

Get Sailor

In the Cinnabar Island research lab, in the third door to the right, and go
talk to the guy to the right in that room. If you trade him a Ponyta, he
will give you a Seel, knicknamed "Sailor."

Cancel evaluation trick

If you cancel evaluation with most of the Pokemon that evolve by level,
they learn moves quicker.

Tip on Pokemon that evolve with stones

Pokemon that evolve with stones never learn most moves that
they would if they didn`t evolve so early.

HM Locations

HM01: You can find the cut ability in Cerulean City, go straight to the top
of the city near the house the police man is standing by. Then you go up
a pathway to the left and there should be 6 people up there that you
need to fight, and then go to the left, about 4 steps from the last guy
and then go straight up and when you are up there you should find the HM01.

HM02: The flying ability Celadon City from the pokemon center go
straight to the left until you hit the giant mart. Go down that skinny road
that road that you see. Then you should come across a plant that you
need to cut. Go up to your left and then go to your left there will be one
building. Go inside to the other side and there will be a house straight to
your left. Then go inside the house and talk to the girl. Then she will give you HM02.

HM03: The Surfing ability can be found in the Safari Zone. Once you reach the
final area go in the house and the man there will give you HM03. Tip: The Warden's
Gold Teeth are in that area.

HM04: The Strength ability can also be found in the Safari Zone. Go to the area
where you got HM03. Next to the hut there should be a Pokeball. Pick it up and you'll
get the Warden's Gold Teeth. Waste your time in the Safari Zone until time runs out.
Go to the Warden's house and give him his teeth. He will give you HM04.

HM05: The Flas ability can be found near Pewter City. Have a Pokemon that knows "Cut"
and do through Diglett's Cave. When you are outside of the cave you will find your self near
Pewter City. Go south and "Cut" the trees. Near the end there is a building. Go in it and you
will find Oak's aid. If you have 10 Pokemon he will give you HM05.

Turn an original pokeball into the master ball

You can turn an original pokeball into the all powerful master ball
by following this steps: Get into a battle (not a trainer battle), make
sure you have a good supply of pokeballs, throw a pokeball, as soon
as it says: "blank" used poke ball, hold the up button on the directional
pad and B button. When the pokemon is wobbling inside the ball, wait
until the second wobble then release the buttons. If you did it correctly,
the pokemon will be caught at any level or strength!! Odds in this
happening: 4 out of 5 times. NOTE: This only works with a regular pokeball!
You can use great balls or ultra balls but the odds are very slim.
Approx. 2 out of 5 times.

Trading Pokemon warning

You may think that if you got gamelink cable that you'll be able to trade
your pokemon with a friend and then trade them back so that you're
pokemon will gain boosted experience. Think again. Your pokemon game

pak, no matter how pak the pokemon have been traded though.

you're inside, go up the stairs and get the PokeBall on the table. Inside
the PokeBall is an Eevee, which can be evolved into any of three types
of Pokemon depending on which stone you use on it. A thunder stone
will give you a Jolteon, a fire stone will give you a Flareon, and a water
stone will give you a Vaporeon.

Struggle move

When a pokemon has run out of pp's for all of it's moves, It will then use
a move called "struggle". It's a move similar to "take-down" or
"double-edge" only weaker.

side. Use surf. Go up and down that side, and only that side of the island.
You will encounter pokemon from the Safari Zone.

Where to get Mewtwo

To find the ominous "Mewtwo", go to Cerulean City and travel up the
bridge toward Bill's. When you reach the end of the bridge, go to the
left and us the surf ability. Follow the river until you reach a cave.

Fun Stuff

Articuno take off arctic and you have UNO. take off the zap in Zapdos and you have
DOS! Moltres take off the mol and you have TRES! UNO DOS TRES! Artic
Zap Mol! What We really wanted to talk about was Mewtwo. Everyone
keeps saying use the master ball, use the master ball. I know how to get
him quick and dirty. We recalled Lance saying "Dragons are practically
indestructible" all you need to catch Mewtwo is 3 Ultra ball and DRAGONAIR
or DRAGONITE. DRATINIs are to weak (unless you stop evolution). Just
Hyper Beam him and ball.

To get to the Power Plant for Electric Pokemon, go to Cerrulean City,
head toward Saffron but don't go to Saffron. Instead take the path that
leads East toward Rock Tunnel. Don't go into Rock Tunnel, instead go
North to the water and SURF. It will lead you to Power Plant. Be Careful,
some of the things that look like Poke Balls are actually Voltorbs.

Rage warning

Once you use Rage, it can't stop. So use it wisely. If you use it,
you can't change Pokemon, get an Item, or use any other moves.
