Chicorita- a grass type Pok¨¦mon, and a follow-up to Bulbasaur. Many people think it's best to choose him, because in previous Pok¨¦mon games, Bulbasaur was chosen because he was the best beginner Pok¨¦mon to start out with. In this game, he is not. The first gym, for instance, uses bird types, which happen to be strong against grass types. Only choose Chicorita if you are an expert player.

Waninoko- The water type Pok¨¦mon, and probablly the most popular type out of all three beginning Pok¨¦mon. He looks somewhat like an alligator, and he is very strong. I chose him, considering since Bulbasaur and Charmander were either very bad, or very good, and not wanting to take that chance this time, I chose him. I don't think there are any gyms that have an advantage over his type in the game, but I could be wrong.
