| Ash Ketchum Birth Place: Pallet Town Biography Ash Ketchum is a ten year old boy, determined to become the world`s greatest Pokemon Master. Ash just turned 10, so he is able to become an official Pokemon Trainer. This is where our story begins... Ash goes to see Professor Oak, Pallet Town`s Pokemon expert. The three Pokemon available were already taken, but Oak gives Ash a Pikachu. At first, he has a hard time with his Pokemon -- he would not cooperate or listen to anything Ash said. But soon, they go through different encounters and adventures and their relationship builds as the story continues. Ash cares about his Pokemon more than he is skilled with them. He really doesn`t stand a chance to become the world`s greatest, but his heart is what always wins. Without his caring and love for his Pokemon, Ash would never have been able to do anything with them. Along the way, Ash meets with two people who join him on his journey. The first is Misty, a girl whose bike Ash used when trying to save him and Pikachu from a flock of attacking spearows. Misty follows Ash claiming to be following him until he pays her back for the bike, but there may be more between the two than that. After that, Ash meets a guy named Brock. He was the gym leader of the Pewter City gym. Ash and Misty soon find out about his father, and when his father decides to take over the gym, we learn more about Brock`s family life and how he had to take care of 10 brothers and sisters. He joins Ash on his journey. Ash runs into many, many new people, and faces many new challenges. He hopes his journey to completing and defeating the Pokemon League will be successful. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Misty Birth Place: Cerulean City Biography Misty first starts out in the show, sitting with her fishing rod... bored. Out of the water pops a Pokemon and a boy. These are Pikachu and Ash. Ash grabs Misty`s bike with Pikachu on it to escape an attacking flock of spearows. Chasing after them, she finally finds Ash and Pikachu, injured, and the bicycle broken. Misty won`t stop nagging Ash to pay her back for her bike, and Ash says that he is on a journey and doesn`t have any money to pay back. As Ash leaves, Misty ends up following him on his journey. Ash and Misty always argue about lots of things. It`s almost as if they actually like each other, although they completely deny it. Misty finds out how much Ash really cares about his Pokemon, and she admires that. She was one of the Sisters of Cerulean City, but was `rejected` from the siblings because she was not as beautiful as the three sisters, Daisy, Lily, and Violet. She left the family claiming to become a gresat Pokemon trainer as her sisters went on to be pathetic gym leaders, but great models and swimmers. Misty is very stubborn, but sensitive at times. As an "excuse" for showing her affection for Ash, she always says that she wants Ash to pay her back for her broken bike. Misty almost doesn`t seem to care about it anymore, as she is happily along her adventures with Ash and his Pokemon. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Brock Birth Place: Pewter City Biography Brock was the leader of the Pewter City Gym. Before joining Ash on his journey, he used to live at home without his parents, but only 10 brothers and sisters. Ash goes to Brock`s Gym and challenges him to a match. This is how they meet. Ash gets beat badly, considering that was his first match in a gym. Brock soon meets his long-lost father, Flint. Flint lets Brock go along with Ash on his journey. Flint takes over the gym. Brock is a caring, sensitive person who really really has a thing about pretty girls. Every pretty girl he has encountered, he has always fallen for, but none of the girls ever fell for him. Brock`s age is unknown, the official page states that he is 12, but in an episode, he quotes, "How about some nice, hot Cerulean Coffee?" Then he quotes, "Nah, you guys are too young for this stuff." Also, as a 12 year old, he can`t fall for that many girls... |
