Get 99 of Any Item (Without a GameShark!)
This code is actually comprised of several different codes sent in by readers. Alone, they're not as exciting, but put them together and you have the code you've been waiting for! And here's how you do it! First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is near the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 as number six from the top (we recommend the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the east coast of Cinnabar like in the Missingno. code below. This time, however, you will face a different messed up Pokemon, with a name comprized of symbols. Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. This trick also works when you capture Missingno. If you continue to surf along the coast, you will face Pokemon that are level 175 can give you 3000 whopping Exp. Points! You can also duplicate expensive items and sell them back to earn lots of money then cash in the money at the coin exchange and get yourself a porygon the easy way!

Missingno.; Pokemon #000
First have a pokemon with surf and surf up and down the east
coast of cinnabar islands. Before you can fight Missingno. you have to go in the first door inside the pokemon lab on Cinnibar Island and trade with one of the trainers in there. Eventually you might fight called missingno. It does lots of damage but is easy to kill. it looks like a mass of dots flying around. just throw balls at it to catch it. Be warned, having this pokemon can crash your game and stuff up the graphics (all your Pokemon and the enemy Pokemon can get all warped). it is number 000 in the pokedex and doesnt havent an entry. it has a high attack but all its other stats are really low. If you dont want to risk your game don't catch it, but it only appears once.

Fight Safari Pokemon Elsewhere
To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park, first go into the park. Let the time run out when you're standing in a patch of grass which holds the Pokemon you want to catch. Step back outside and use FLY to Fly back to Cinnabar Island. Using SURF, surf up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the water. You should then enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon! No more bait or rocks! It's sleep and Psybeam time! This also works with other areas of the game where you find wild Pokemon. Experiment and see what happens!

Clone Pokemon (US)
You need a friend for this. Trade the pokemon to be cloned and have you friend get a pokemon they dont care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the weak and common pokemon can see the other's screen. When the reciever of the good pokemon's screen says "waiting", turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad pokemon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the powerful pokemon, but the weak Pokemon will be lost. Warning! This could delete a saved game or your Pokemon!

Go to sleep!.....OK wake up now!
If you have a pokemon who has Rest or if you can get tm44, your pokemon can restore all his\her hit points (HP), in a span of 2 turns! Simply use Rest during battle (the pokemon will fall asleep), then during your next turn, play the Poke Flute (Obtained when you save Mr. Fuji from the tower in the Pokemon Tower) your pokemon will wake up ready to go!

Moon Stones
There are five Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of which are not.
1) In the upper-lefthand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon.
2) In the basement of the game corner.
3) In the bottom-right corner of Route 2 (CUT).
4) In Mt. Moon, before the supernerd's platform, there is a
corridor 4 spaces long and 1 space wide, go to the end of it and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone.
5) In the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, go up to the right side of one of the pillars on the right-hand side near the entrance hit A and it will say you found a Moon Stone.

Better Chance To Capture Pokemon
There is a code for the USA version (it might work for the Japanese version too) to catch Pokemon easier. When you throw a Poke-ball hold Up and press down "A" button as it closes on the Pokemon. The poke-ball will shut tighter and it will be easier to catch the Pokemon. Harder Hitting Attacks This code is sorta like the "Better Chance to Catch Pokemon" code but it's for attack. Just hold the A button while your attacking and it will do more damage than if you didn't hold A.

Phantom PC
Go to Celadon City and make your way to the motel. go to the far right wall and make ash look north and he be in the middle square. Press A and What's this? OHMYGOSH!!!! a Ghost computer!! That's right, a Ghost PC Go to Celadon City, then go south until you are by the Alley where the Game Corner is. Walk EAST until you are standing next to a bush. CUT the bush down and go SOUTH to the first building to the WEST.... this is the Motel. Enter the Motel and walk NORTH until you hit the shelf, then walk EAST until you hit the wall, YOUR STANDING ON THE PHANTOM PC!! Now walk DOWN 2 spaces, the walk UP 1 space. Now press A and select something to do!

Fish in Statues
It's wierd, but you can fish in statues! Simply use the rod!
Sometimes you can find rare water Pokemon this way.

Even the Odds at Game Corner
In the casino above the guy with the glasses that you usually find in gyms is a slot machine with great odds. The way I got a porygon was simple but still long. Save the game when you hit the jackpot After a while the game is fixed and you will either get multiple wins, or hit the jackpot- doing that you eventually start to win several hundred at a time. By hitting the a button rapidly it sets a pattern to make sure you now when the jackpot comes up- the slot machine starts to slow down.

Start With All Three Start Pokemon
Requires:2 linkable game boy systems,2 pokemon games(any
color),and a game link cable
NOTE:Make sure that Game Boy B takes Bulbasaur to start and then you`ll see the rest of the code below.
1.Start a new game with Game Boy A
2.Go to Prof. Oak`s and get Squirtle
3.Go to nearest pokemon center and trade squirtle to game Boy B
4.Start new game with Game Boy A
5.Repeat 2-4
6.Go to Prof. Oak`s and get Charmander
7.Go to nearest pokemon center and trade Charmander to Game
Boy B
8.Start new game with Game Boy A
9.Repeat 6-8
10.Go to Proff Oak`s and get Bulbasaur Game Boy B should have 2 Squirtles and 2 Charmanders,so trade one of each back to Game Boy A

Free Coins!
Here is a trick that lets you get free coins at the Casino. All you have to do is walk around and every time you take a step, press the A button. You will start picking up large amounts of coins and will get tons of them! Also you can talk to all the people inside the Casino. Some of them will give you coins!
