Here's everything you will need to know to beat the elite four. You shall first face Lorelei. She is the master Trainer of Ice pokémon. I recomend that you use electric pokémon and you shall be fine. Her lineup is the following: lvl.54 dewgong, lvl. 53 cloyster, lvl. 54 slowbro, lvl. 56 jynx, and a lvl. 56 lapras.
After you defeat her you shall encounter Bruno, Master trainer of ground and fighting pokémon. I recomend that you use pokémon with water, flight, and psychic skills. That will toast him. His lineup is the following: lvl. 53 onix, lvl. 55 hitmonchan, lvl. 55 hitmonlee, lvl. 56 onix, and a lvl. 58 machamp.
After you defeat bruno you shall encounter agatha, the master trainer of ghost pokémon. I recomend that you use the skills that you learned in the pokémon tower. Her lineup is the following: lvl. 56 gengar, lvl. 56 golbat, lvl. 55 haunter, lvl. 58 arbok, and a lvl. 60 gengar.
After you have defeated her you shall then face Lance, master of dragon pokémon. I recomend you use ice or dragon pokémon. You could also use hyper beam which takes them all out in just about 1 hit. You could teach that move to Snorlax. You can get it at the coin exchange in celadon. His lineup is the following: lvl. 58 gyrados, lvl. 56 dragonair, lvl. 56 dragonair, lvl. 60 aerodactyl, and a lvl. 62 dragonite.
After you have defeated Lance you must then go and face you
rival for one last battle. Againist him you are just going to need some really strong pokémon each from the six main grouos! His lineup is the following: lvl. 61 pidgeot, lvl. 59 alakazam, lvl. 61 rhydon. The next three pokémon that he has depends on what pokémon he picked in the beginning. If he picked a squirtle in the beginning the last three would be: lvl. 61 arcanine, lvl. 63 exeggutor, lvl. 65 blastoise.
If he picked a charmander in the beginning the order would be the following: lvl. 63 exeggutor, lvl. 61 gyrados, lvl. 65 charizard. If he picked a bulbasaur the order would be the following: lvl. 61 gyrados, lvl. 63 arcanine, lvl. 65 venusaur. After you have defeated him prof. oak comes in and takes you into a back room. He then inducts you and the pokémon that you have out into the hall of fame! Then you will see the credits and end up back in pallet town. Your game shall be saved though. Now you must go see the man in celadon and get you diploma. Also you must explore the Unknown Dungeon and get a Mewtwo!!!!!!!
