This is a guide to all of the rare Pokémon of Pokémon Snap! If a Pokémon is not listed here that you would like to know how to find or how to get it to pose, or whatever there are only 63 Pokémon in the whole game!

#6 Charizard: Level 3
Knock the Charmeleon circling the pool of lava in with a pester ball and Charizard will emerge. To get him to pose throw food or pester balls at him.

#25 Pikachu: Level 5
To get a good shot of Pikachu riding some balloons hit the Zubat carrying him with a pester ball and later you will see Pikachu riding some balloons. In the same level after you have freed Pikachu from the clutches of Zubat, hatch the Articuno egg and you will see Pikachu riding on Articuno's back.

#28 Sandslash: Level 6
To see Sandslash in level 6 watch him burrow into the ground then knock the two Geodudes off the wall, after the fall he will jump out. For a pose throw a piece of food or two near him.

#51 Dugtrio: Level 2
To find Dugtrio take a picture of the Diglett near the Pikachu, then he will move to a different spot and Pikachu will follow (the Dash Engine may be needed) take another picture, and then one more and the first Dugtrio. To score more points Take some pictures of Dugtrio and another will emerge, ect. ect. ect.

#59 Arcanine: Level 3
To snap Arcanine, keep throwing pester balls and food into the last 3 craters in the stage and at random an Arcanine will jump out. For an even better score get the two other Growlithes in the picture!

#71 Victreebell: Level 5
For Victreebell, wait until Weepinbell is in the right spot then knock him in the pool he is circling and a few seconds later, Victreebell.

#123 Scyther: Level 1
When you see Meowth jump out of the tall grass hit him with a pester ball and make sure he is on the tracks in which you are traveling. This will make your cart stop, now start throwing pester balls in the tall grass the he came out of and if you hit Scyther he'll scream and fly away, that's your chance! If you don't hit Scyther, keep Meowth in front of your cart by chunking more and more pester balls at him so he will stay there, then you can try to hit Scyther some more.

#130 Gyarados: Level 6
Hit the first Magikarp you see with a pester ball and he should land on Mankey, then Mankey will whack Magikarp way way up in the sky. A little bit later you will see Magikarp flopping around on the right, hit him once more and he will fly into the waterfall and Gyarados will emerge. Be quick to score high points, throw a pester ball at Gyarados and he will do a neat spitting attack!

#132 Ditto: Level 5
Have you seen those Bulbasaurs in level 5? They look awfully strange to me, so whack em with pester balls and they turn out to be 3 Dittos that transformed into a Bulbasaur! Be quick and throw Pokémon Food near them so they will face you. Ahhhh, perfection once again.

#149 Dragonite: Level 6
Keep tossing pester balls in the whirlpool halfway through the level. Watch as Dragonite flys away and he will roar! Snap, snap!

#151 Mew!!!!
If you have found all the Pokémon signs, then Professor Oak will allow you to go to Mew's stage. Focus only on Mew because he is the only Pokémon in the whole level (unless you feel the urge to snap a picture of that nebula making out a MewTwo.). Mew makes a few passes just seeing what's up, checking it all out, take a pic while he is still moving fairly slow. Now start throwing Pokémon food at his shield/bubble. Keep doing this and it will fly off, Mew will begin to run after it, whack him with a pester ball and he will spin out. That is your chance for some great points, but if you don't break his sheild don't worry, because you already have a picture worth 2500 points!
