Hold L + R + A + B + X + Y and press Start to reset the system. Hold B + X on controller B and turn on the Dreamcast. Then, release the buttons after the date/time prompt appears. Note: This will not affect your VMU memory and will only reset internal information, such as date, time, and Dreamcast Network settings. Press all four pad buttons and then hit Start to reset your game. If you have one of the games that have problems starting up and you want to play it before you return it simply start the Dreamcast without a game inserted. Once the main menu loads insert the game and choose the first option (play-run the game) to start the game. You may have to do this twice but it will work. |
