The Game Cube will be Nintendo's latest system. The new system will use mini-DVD disks. This is the first system Nintendo made with CDs. It will be a 128 bit system and is shaped like a cube. Its dimensions are as follows: 5.9" (W) x 6.34" (H) x 4.3" (D). It will have the usual 4 controller ports. The controllers are very different than the regular N64's controllers. They look similar the the PlayStation Dual Shock controllers and have a large A button along with the usual analog joystick and directional pad. Instead of the regular C buttons the is a multi-directional C "knob". The Z trigger has been moved over to the right shoulder just in fron of the R button. There are 2 slots in the Game Cube for memory cards called Digicards for saving games. Instead of using a regular controller you can hook up the new Game Boy Advance as a controller. And if you were wondering, no, there won't be a DVD played built in, the systme is made strictly for gaming. Also there will be modem and broadband network capabilities, although no one really knows what they will be used for right now. There are no software titles announced yet. The system is supposed to be released October 2001 in the U.S. and July 2001 in Japan. (as usual Japan gets it frist)
This is what the Game Cube will look like:
Just like N64, the controllers come in different colors:

If you can't see the picture, the colors are balck, pink, gold, silver, and purple.
