| Well this is my testimony page it tells about some of God's works. I hope this helps some of you that are lost. What this is if you'r not use to it is where people share what the Lord has helped them with. Maybe some struggles they have had in life or something in that nature. WARNING!!! Some of the things you read here are not to nice. Some things are not suitable for children. There will be no cursing or explicit words, but there might be talk that children are better off not exposed to. Again I hope you are blessed by this site. -Ryan Williams- This is my personal testimony on what the lord has done for me. First I want to share by telling you that I wasn't always a saint. Matter a fact I have only been in the church for a short while. I used to spend my sundays as well as every other day at my friends house getting high and drinking. I have done several types of drugs I'm not proud about them trust me. I have spent many hours wasting precious time wasting my life away. I was addicted to cigerettes I tried to stop so many times. I enjoyed violence in movies,games,music, and pretty much all things. You could say I was a looser. I had no self esteem thought about killing myself a few times. Tried to one time. I was in pretty bad shape. One day I heard about Jesus Christ and it sparked my interest. I began reading the bible and learning as much as I could. Then I tried this church out and feel in love with Jesus. I gave my life to him, offered myself as a sacrifice. I was delivered from all the filth I was into. Quit all the drinking,drugs,smoking. I have let go of all worldly things and life could not be any better. I grow with the lord daily and I am not perfect. I still need some help, but I am in such a better place in my life. I want to give the glory up to the big man Jesus Christ. -Bro. Melvin- He is one of the newest members of our church. He came from an episcopal church background. It's been bout 25 years since he has been in a church and he came to ours cause of his family that is with the church. He came one sunday morning and listened to the preaching of the pastor and was so interested in what was going on there. He came back that night and the pastor sat down with him after church and talked with him about the importance of being baptized in Jesus name and being filled with the Holy Ghost. He then was ready for both and was planning to get baptized the following sunday. Well sunday was just to far away for him and he decided he would get baptized at our wednesday night service. So when wednsday rolled around and the service came to an end it was time for him to take the plunge. We all followed him back to the baptistry and we prayed for him to receive the Holy Ghost. Well the pastor took him and baptized him in the name of Jesus and Melvin came up out of the water speaking in tounges. He has been a growing saint of the church. -Praise Reports- In January we have had 3 recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost, another 02/03/00. I'm so glad God is still pouring out his spirit, how bout you? We have had some healing here recently as well. One night we all got together and touched some needs and reached out and had faith in God to see them through. Well we have a sister in the church that had some heart problems and she had to go take some kinda test and when she did the doctor said everything was doing good. Also a brothers daughter was going to get checked for breast cancer and her test came back with good report. Amen God is the greatest doctor if we just put our trust in him. These are just the beginnings of the year more to come. |
