Are you reading the right bible? Is your pastor teaching from the right bible? Could you accept the fact that your bible maybe a twisting of the word? The fact is that alot of bibles today are misleading, confusing, and just plain lie. I will get into a couple right now, and will be adding more the more I find. KJV (King James Version) NKJV (New King James Version) NIV (New International Version) Facts on the NKJV It is estimated that the NKJV makes more than 100,000 changes which comes to over 80 changes per page, and about 3 changes per verse. In the NKJV there are 22 omissions of the word "Hell", 23 omissions of the word "Blood", 44 omissions of the word "Repent", 50 omissions of the word "God", and 66 omissions of the word "Lord". I don't know about you but I believe these words are to important to leave out. KJV vs NIV (KJV) Dueteronomy 23:17 "There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. (NIV) "No Israelite man or woman is to become a shrine prostitute." A sodomite is someone who practises the abominations of sodem which was alot more than just prostitution. (KJV) Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" (NIV) "How you have fallen from heaven, O morining star, son of the dawn!" Wait a min here I don't think so only Jesus is the morning star (Rev 22:16). Why in the world would satan ever replace Jesus? (KJV) Daniel 3:25 "He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." (NIV) "He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods." Now I'm not sure but I don't think we have more then one God. No other gods before me ring a bell? (KJV) Acts 8:37 "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (NIV) "IF YOU CAN FIND IT MAIL ME!" What? How can you leave an entire verse out?? (KJV) Galatians 4:7 "Wherefore thou art no more a servent but a son: and if a son then an heir of God through Christ." (NIV) "So you are no longer a slave but a son: and since you are a son God has made you also an heir." Why take Christ out of the verse? Isn't Jesus who it's all about? Do people not know what Christ means? Well there is a little taste of whats out there. My question is did you learn anything about your bible? | | | V |
