| Built to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Aston Martin's famous victories at Le Mans and in the World Sportscar Championship in 1959, V8 Vantage Le Mans is an individually numbered Limited Edition of just 40 cars. The most powerful and fastest Aston Martin production car ever built may be specified, in markets where legislation allows, with either standard 410 kW (550 bhp) or V600 - 450kW (600 bhp) versions of its acclaimed 5.3 litre twin supercharged V8 engine and either five or six speed manual transmission. This very special Limited Edition is finished in the distinctive Aston Martin Racing Green - an exact match of the famous 'Works' racing DBR1's of 1959. However, as with all Aston Martins, exterior paint work and Connolly hide interior may be specified in an infinite variety of colours. The driving experience offered by any Vantage is unique and exceptional. Designed and developed by today's Aston Martin 'Works' team of engineers, V8 Vantage Le Mans features significantly up-rated suspension in the form of adjustable sports dampers, road springs and anti-roll bars. The anti lock brake system incorporates AP Racing six piston aluminium calipers with special circumferential grooved discs at the front, together with aluminium four piston calipers and grooved discs at the rear. Special lightweight magnesium alloy five spoke wheels complete the package and turn an already exceptional car into a truly great one. V8 Vantage Le Mans - a very special Aston Martin.
