Gold/Silver(Little Help from Owensarea51)__________________________________________________________________________________________

Pokèmon Gold/Silver as we know making their games. But Pokèmon Gold/Silver in english verson is coming out on Fall 2000.In USA now its out in Japanese writing. While The S.S. Anne looks better, but no comment.Let's say its better while you can battle Gary & Ash with the Pokèmons #152-#251...Gary & Ash are using the Pokèmons from the Red & Blue Versons. This time you'll be in a new world, with new cities.Did I mention different Professers? No I didn't.But one thing is will you have a Rival? For The looks of the game no.This time theres 8 new badges out also. You wanna know?,why of course I'll tell you,if you e-mail me and j/k,The Badges are STEEL,GHOST,DARK,ICE,POISON,BUG,DRAGON,FLYING,& NORMAL.Unfortuney its hard to get these.New cities...For one thing I looked up at Books-A-Million and saw this Pokèmon Gold/Silver guide. And these attacks, are really new stuff..This is real also,Lugia Learns "Rain".Well I forgot what it does but I think it cuts half of your Pokèmons Damage or something.Houou is a fire type bird. While Lugia is a psychic type that has like some psychic attacks.Rain is a psychic attack. Not a Water. You get to be a Boy or Girl. Now this is really hard. You gotta catch all the Night And Day Pokèmons. Its not to easy. You have to once trade again.Pokèmon Stadium 2 I think is when you can put the Gold or Silver in the transfer pack this time.Mostly New people, new areas, new cities, and etc.Battling Ash lets say...Its a Good Match.Hey you can't just use the same items, there's a change also. But stupid Bicycle. If you hated the Bicycle, you'll like this. There's a Skateboard this time. But your character (Boy)looks cool. Some Pokèmon evolves different too.But its a matter of Night or Day levels.Example: Oddish evolves into Gloom and Gloom can evolve into Vileplume or 182. Bellossom.Unfortunely Belossom is cute for some people. But I think its cute also.Theres different People with Different Pokèmons. You'll find The Pokèmon Center quite amuzing. It'll look like this PokèBall, with a "P" on it and a door. The Gym Leaders, also have a new look.Well this girl would say The boy Gym Leaders are kawaii, and that's no lie.For one thing Pokèmon Gold & Silver is for Gameboy Color. If you tried Gameboy it'll look bad so you can't tell Day or night. So I'll say Japan made a good heck of a verson that's called Gold & Silver. It has good features in the games. The Gold cover is Houou, and the Silver cover is Lugia.Well if you read the Pojo magazine that says "Win Pokèmon GOLD/SILVER! IF YOU CAN ANSWER The AMERICIAN NAME FOR Hinorashi,Waninoko,& Chikorita."Unfortunely if you get an egg in your inventory who'll know what can hatch in it?Pokèmon is gonna hide everywhere far and wide.Catch èm all is what you'll need. Now The such heard thing PIKABLU is not real I'll tell you why.Its a clever rumor but um his amercia name is Marril. But Pikablu is a fine internet clevar rumor as I said very good but Marril is the real name.Togepi will be in the gold & silver but will Misty make the cut?Since theres Male and Female Pokèmons.Who knows what Togepi is,A boy or girl?Isn't it obivious?Togepi's a boy?..Who knows.

  • Pokémon Gold & Silver was released November 21, 1999 in Japan. It has become a very popular game, because of its new features and additions.

  • So, what is new you ask? Well here is a list of some of the new features and additions:
  • Pokémon - 100 new Pokémon have been added to the lineup, and you can catch up to 221 Pokémon in each version by yourself!

  • Backpack - Your Backpack is divided into 4 different pockets separating your
  • Pokéballs, Pokémon healing items, TMs & HMs, and important items.

  • Pokégear - Uses 'cards' to display information throughout the game. You start out with your Watch and Phone. Then you can get a Map card, Radio Card, and Radio Upgrade.

  • Types - Two new types, "Dark" and "Steel".

  • Evolutions - Pokémon from Red/Blue/Yellow (RBY) that have thought to stop evolution may evolve into something new. For example, Chansey evolves into Hapinasu. Also some Pokémon from RBY have pre-evolutions, like Pikachu and Jigglypuff.

  • Pokédex - The Pokédex has changed slightly, it is now black like the Pinball Pokédex, with Pokémon Area, Cry, and Print options. There's also 3 different ways you can sort the Pokédex, by the new Gold/Silver way, Numeric, or Alphabetical. Also, during wild battles you are to be sure you already have the Pokémon you are battling, because a Pokéball will appear above the wild Pokémon's health bar.

  • Stat Screens - When you view your Pokémon's stats you will get to look at three screens instead of two like in RBY. The first screen has your Pokémon's HP and EXP Points needed to gain a level. The second screen has your Pokémon's Attacks and Abilities and how much PP each one has. The third screen has your Pokémon's ID No., original Trainer, and its Attack, Defense, Hit Points, Speed, and Special totals.

  • Rival - Your Rival is even more evil than Gary ever was. Your Rival steals one of Professor Utsugi's remaining two Pokémon. You'll see him later in the game.

  • Eternal Clock - At the beginning, when you first start your game you have to set the clock according to what time it is in Real Life. Now when it is day-time in Real Life it will be day-time in your Game. So what? Well only certain Pokémon will appear during the day, and during the night. So you'll have to play your game during the day and during the night.

  • New Towns - You start in Wakaba Town. All of the Gold & Silver towns are located West of the original RBY towns, which you can explore later in the game after beating it.

  • New Gym Leaders - The first Gym Leader you encounter is a bird trainer. His name is Hayato. The following Leaders are: Tsukushi, Akane, Matsuba, Shijima, Mikan, Yanagi and Ibuki. Also Koga has joined the Elite Four leaving his gym to his sister (?).

  • Trading - This aspect of the game is even more important to get all of the Pokémon in Gold & Silver. Then instead of having Pokémon that evolve when traded like RBY, G&S has added a new twist where you must attach an item to the Pokémon to get it to evolve when traded. Not only must you trade between Gold & Silver to get some of the Pokémon, most rare Pokémon from Pokémon RBY are not in G&S so you must specially transfer them...

  • Time Machine - At the top of all the PokéCenters you'll find the Time Machine all the way to the right against the far right wall. The Time Machine lets you transfer Pokémon from RBY to G&S without having to trade something back.

  • Eggs - You can take your Pokemon to a Breeding and Daycare center south of Kogane City. If you put in a male and female Pokemon of the same type and walk around for a bit, when you return and see the Owner of the center outside with the Pokemon it means they laid an egg.

  • Equip Items - Another new feature to G&S. Equipping items is essential to evolve some Pokémon when traded. Other items help strengthen the Pokémon in battle, or heal it when it gets too weak.
