I believe that Francis Louise Jacoby gave birth to my great-grandfather Potter Smith. I also believe that Potter Smith changed his name from Yaniello to Smith (or Janello). I learned he married in 1936, but the online site had listed the grooms only, and I want to go back & see if the brides are listed yet so I can find out who, but can't find the web page. Does anyone know of links for Manhattan? Besides who he married, I'd like to find out where he worked as an artist, where he was when he died, anything about him. A wife was not listed in his obit, and was wondering what happened. A child, Marjorie Rohloff died at one in 1935...wondered if Mark W. Rohloff (gramp's name) was her father.
