| The Mets and Rockies made a trade. The Mets send Masato Yoshii to the Colorado Rockies, and the Mets get, P Bobby M. Jones and minor league P Lariel Gonzalez. Now you must be thinking that the Mets have Bobby Jones already, well they do. And now they have another one. Bobby J. Jones, the one of the Mets last year, and Bobby M. Jones, on the Rockies last year. They faced each other last season. Now it is supposedly so that Bobby J. Jones will be the 4th starter, and Bobby M. Jones will be the 5th starter of the rotation. The 1st will be Mike Hampton, 2nd- Al Leiter, and 3rd- Rick Reed. Yoshii is now the 7th starter on the Rockies ball club, I don't know what their gonna do there. So it looks like the Mets have their set pitching rotation, but hey you never know, Steve Phillips can always get another starter. I'll keep you posted. |
