*Sixty-man, 3-Ring Battle Royal The rules: Twenty men fill each of the 3 rings. When there are 10 men left, all competitors enter the middle ring. The match doesn't end until 1 man is left standing. Men can only be eliminated by being thrown to the arena floor. Pre-match, the NWO waited to be introduced last, minus Kevin Nash. The strategy allowed the black-and-white express to inhabit the same ring. While the NWO dominated ring #1, the Giant -- struggling painfully with a broken hand -- controlled the ring #3 by throwing out 4 men in less than a minute (Luchadors were dropping like flies in a bug-zapper). The Final 10: Buff Bagwell, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, Vincent, the Giant, Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger, Rick Steiner, and Booker T. The flock of WCW members bulldozed into team NWO, with only Savage, Hall, the Giant and Page surviving the onslaught. All 4 men fought ferociously, until Page turned the tides by hitting Savage with the Diamond Cutter. The Giant followed up by choke-slamming the
Madness with his injured hand and rolling him out of the ring. Hall retreated to the middle ring, but -- before DDP and the Giant could strike -- the Outsider pointed to the dressing room and the NWO theme music began to blare. But, instead of being joined by Battle Royal favorite Nash, the music changed to Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child. Enter Hollywood Hogan. Taking his place as the 60th man in the contest, the fresh and energized World Champ body slammed the Giant and went to work on Page, who was soon eliminated. The crowd chanted for Sting. Hall and Hogan continued to dominate until, from the rafters, a white-faced avenger descended to ringside. Auburn Hills roared as Sting entered the ring and Hogan made a quick exit, but it soon became obvious to fans that this was yet another impostor. The faux-Sting struck the Giant with a bat and ejected him from the ring, only leaving Hall. When the faux-Sting unmasked, it was Nash. The rest of the NWO joined the in-ring celebration. Hogan cheered and applied the Diamond Cutter to a near-unconscious DDP. Hall was the last man standing. The NWO was once again victorious.
