Considered by many to be the most powerful and influential group sports and entertainment, DX is a notorious faction of controversial superstars that originated out of true friendship. Deciding that Federation officials were no longer going to put a strain on their allegiance, Shawn Michaels and Triple H combined forces, and as a result D-Generation X was born. HBK, HHH and Chyna began disrespecting, mocking, frustrating and pulverizing just about every official and fellow superstar in the Federation.

Following his loss to Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV, Shawn Michaels was replaced by Triple H as the leader of DX. During his first night in power, Hunter recruited three new members. The superstars not only had superior in-ring ability, but the intelligence, personality and charisma it requires to be a member.

X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws--Badd Ass Billy Gunn and Road Dog--immediately enlisted in the DX Army. With the membership of this group now up to four, and expansion always possible, D-Generation X will be sitting on the top of the wrestling world for a very long time!

They have had their share of success in the Federation. Triple H is a former Intercontinental Champion. X-Pac held the European Championship, and the Outlaws are former Tag Team Champions. Currently each member of DX has been on their own, embroiled in serious conflict with a host of Federation superstars. Chyna's defection to Team Corporate has also put a strain on DX, but one that will probably come back to haunt her in the future. It might have already. During an episode of RAW, when Chyna faced X-Pac, Triple H stormed the ring and stung the "Ninth Wonder of the World" with the Pedigree. This could only be the beginning for anybody who messes with DX. Friends, former friends or foes are all potential targets.
