chapter 17

As we left the hotel I remembered the promise I had made to myself last night about telling jc who I really was and what I really did. I really wanted to see them preform live and I knew that once I told Jc he would never talk to me again so I decided to tell him sometime after the concert. Finally we pulled into the gas station where I saw jc's car. I got out and walked over to it. There wasnt anybody in it so I walked inside the station. JC was standing over by the drinks. I walked over and began to look for something to drink too. I glanced back and lennie was trying to distract the person behind the counter, which wasn't working very well. I lowered my voice and said "Im gonna go use the washroom and I'll meet you in the car ok?"
"yeah" he whispered. So I went to the bathroom and washed my hands and stuff and then I walked out. Jc was gone so I grabbed a snapple and a pack of gum paid for them and walked out. I walked to the back of the building and got in the car with jc and lennie. while driving jc and i started talking, "how about lunch just you and me at this little chinese restaurant I know?" he asked
"that sounds great!!" i said. We drove for about 20 minutes and finally got to disney world. He drove around to a back exit and parked.
"is it ok if I wear this shirt? i mean is it appropriate?" i asked.
"yeah its fine," he said "personally I like it!" he said smiling.
"good" i said. I left my other shirt in the car and we walked inside. We had to wait there for the other 3 bodyguards. While we were waiting all these people kept coming up to him and saying hi and suff like that. I went and sat down on some chairs nearby cause I wasnt feeling to good. I have always had the worst stomach so it wasnt a suprise to me that i was feeling sick to my stomach cause its usually a rarity when I dont feel sick. All of a sudden this girl came running down the hallway towards jc and lept into his arms.
"oh my god jc, how have you been?" she said
"lisa? is that you?" he asked
"yep it's me, How are you?" she asked
"I'm great!! man it's been a long time" he said finally pulling away from her. I cleared my throat I wanted to be introduced. he didnt hear me, they just kept talking.
It was her who pointed to me and said, "so who is this?"
"oh" he turned to me and said "this is my friend, Kelly. Kelly this is Lisa, she worked with me a couple times on the MMC. I havent seen her since she dumped me on my b-day 4 years ago." he said.
"mmm...., nice to meet you" i said a little sarcastically. They began their conversation again and I stood there bored and angry. I went and sat down again and read a magazine. About 10 minutes
later i finished the magazine I was ready to leave. So I walked over to jc and tapped him on the shoulder.
"did you wanna go and do some rides or something?" i asked.
"in a little bit" he said.
"fine but im going out to get a drink" i said
"okay" he said.
"how about you meet me in front of the building in 10 minutes?" i asked.
"okay thats fine" he said turning back to his conversation with lisa. I grabbed my purse and walked out with Carl following close behind me.
"you dont have to come with me." i said. "im a big girl I can take care of myself"
"I know you can, but JC told me to make sure you were ok, where ever you go." he told me.
"oh you mean he actually noticed I left?" i said sarcastically
"actually he told me that at the gas station" he said.
"great" i said. I walked over to the drink stand and got in line. I ordered a water then spotted the cotton candy. I hadnt had that for so long and it sounded really good so i got some of that too.
By the time I had gotten through the line it had already been 10 minutes so I hurried back to the studio. Jc wasnt waiting outside so I went back inside. They werent where I left them so I walked up to the secretary who had been there.
"excuse me but do you know where JC and lisa went?" i asked
"they said that they were going out to lunch" she said.
"thanks" i said through clenched teeth. She smiled and and began to walk away "that should teach you" she muttered
"what?" i asked not quite hearing her.
"I said I hope you find them" she said "yeah" i said. I turned and walked away, Carl was sitting down so I told him to relay a message to JC. I told him to tell JC that I had left and not to bother calling me again. I left the park and hailed a cab.
back to my hotel.

*******change of scene with jc and lisa****************

Him and Lisa walked out of the back studio and into the waiting room. He knew he was already late in meeting me, but he hoped I would understand. He saw Carl sitting down reading a magazine.
"where's Kelly? I thought I told you to stay with her while here in the park" jc said to him.
"oh she left, and she told me to tell you that she was going back to the hotel and not to bother calling her anymore." carl said
"Why? I was only like 5 minutes late in meeting her!" he said.
"i dont know but she looked really mad after talking to her" carl said pointing to the secretary.
"she talked to loud mouth Michelle? great" he said. He walked over to where michelle and Lisa were talking.
"what did you say to kelly?" he asked michelle
"well, I thought you guys had left for lunch so I told her that's where you guys went." she said smiling "great job" he said.
"that sounds like a good idea" Lisa suggested "how about it?"
"I cant I have to find Kelly" jc said.
"oh come on just a little short lunch and then you can find her. You dont even know where she is, just let her cool off and then go after her." lisa said.
"well...I dont know" jc said.
"come on" lisa said pulling him out the door. "oops, I forgot my purse I'll be right back" she said leaving him by the car. She ran back inside to get it.
"great job michelle!!! I'll get him back if its the last thing I do, and that whore, Kelly better not get in my way" Lisa said smiling.

I took the cab to my hotel amd went directly to my room, I really needed to think. I laid down on my bed and began to think. Does he really only think of me as a friend? Why would he just ditch me like that for another girl? Didnt we have anything? I thought we had something together. I guess he was just using me and has now moved on to bigger and better things, like Lisa. I rolled over on my stomach, I had really liked him,
I knew I shouldn't but I had and now I knew that I should move on. I got up, and decided to finish my article. So I went and sat at my computer. I was really angry at JC so the article turned out A little harsh. Here's what I wrote, I left off at joey cheating. Since then, I have been wined and dined and played. One certain blue eyed memeber named jc took me out not knowing that I was a reporter doing a story on him. He brought me to his house on the beach, where he told me all about the girls that he had brought there. He boasted about how he sometimes has younger girls like 14 and 15 go there. This really disgusted me and when I asked what the others thought about him doing that, he told me that they all did it too, sometimes that all got in on it together. But that justin was the one who mostly did it because he was the most popular with the younger ones. I told him that I didnt believe him
so he showed me pictures and videos that he had taken of all of them. I was repulsed beyond belief, but after awhile he was being so nice and very romantic that I too fell into his trap. I too became a victim.
I slept with him, and I have to admit it was very good. The next day he was gone leaving me a note saying, thanks for everything but please take your things and leave. I was so pissed!!! So i left and went back to my hotel, but on my way there I spotted Jc's car and and when I pulled up next to it I saw him Kissing another girl. SO thats when I decided to stop for awhile. Ok so none of it was true but hey I was mad so I made things up. I was tired and angry so I decided to go lie down it was only 1:30 but I still felt sick to my stomach. I changed into just my underwear and a tank top and got into bed. I tossed and turned for about an hour and then finally fell asleep. I had horrible dreams abouut how Jc hated me and laughed at me for actually thinking that he had liked me. I woke up in a cold sweat. It was already 5:30 so I decided to get up. I heard knocking on my door and I figured that was what had woken me up. I grabbed my silk robe and was putting it on as I walked over to the door. I really didnt want to talk to JC. I knew that he would be the only one who would come here so I yelled through the door
"go away!!!" I yelled "i dont want to talk to you"
"oh come on kelly, let me in" a fimilar voice said.
"no I dont want to speak to you" I said
"come on kelly why wont you talk to me?" he said.
"cause I'm mad at you for leaving me today" i said
"what do you mean? I didnt leave you today" he said
"yes you did" i yelled pulling open the door
"joey?!" i said incrediously. he stood in front of my door holding flowers.

chapter 18

"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to see what you and Jc were doing since everybody else left on some shopping trip thing" he stated, "but I dont see jc here" he said.
"Oh" my face dropped "he left" I said.
"I gathered that the way you yelled at me through the door" he said smiling.
"yeah," I replied "sorry about that, I thought you were jc and I didnt want to talk to him right now" I told him.
"why not?" he asked, "what happened after we left last night?"
"It's kinda a long story" I said.
"How about you tell me over dinner?" he suggested.
"ok just hang on a second and let me get changed and stuff, How about I meet you in the lobby in 15 minutes?" i said.
"sounds good I'll send Lennie in to get you" he replied. He let himself out as I went to find something to wear.
I walked over to my closet and pulled out my short black mini skirt and an electric blue tank top, I put that on and walked into the bathroom
to do my hair and makeup. I pulled my curly brown hair into a bun and left a couple tendrils hanging down. I applied fresh makeup and walked out to find some shoes. I decided on my boots that lace up to about my knees with thick clunky heels. I called them my whore boots.
I noticed that my computer was still on with the article still on the screen. I sat in the chair and signed on, as I waited I contemplated what I was about to do. Should I or shouldn't I? "You've got mail, pulled me out of my thoughts. I checked to see who it was from.
It was diane, Kelly hows the article coming? I expected to hear from you already but I guess that you are just off getting the story so it
better be good because we've saved you a spot on the front of this weeks paper. Send it in asap!!!!!! Diane OK that made up my mind I had a job to do and obviously I didnt mean anything to jc so I attached the article to the email and got it ready to send.
The arrow hovered over the send button and after a slight hesitation I pushed it. Message sent it told me. "Well, theres no going back now I told myself.
I shut off everything grabbed my purse and the key and headed out. When I got down to the lobby I saw Lennie waiting for me. I walked over to him and told him that I was ready. So we walked outside to an awaiting limo, where Joey was waiting outside the door.
"you clean up nice" he told me "yeah you're not looking to bad yourself" I told him. "riding in style tonight?" I asked
"yeah my car is in the shop getting a new stereo installed." he told me
"oh" i said getting in. "so where are we going?" I asked
"I dont know you pick" he told me.
"you got any McDonalds sround here?" I asked
"yeah a couple blocks over" he said.
"Lets go there" I said "you have a choice of going anywhere and you chose mickey dee's?" he asked "Yep" I replied "awesome sounds good to me" he said. So we drove over, parked and walked in. Joey grabbed a hat and caught up with me as I walked in. We got a couple of stares but it was only because of the big fat black man walking next to joey. Other than that nobody bothered us. After we got our food we grabbed a booth and sat down. Joey made the fat man sit somewhere else.
"ok spill it" he said. "what happened?"
I told him about lisa and how jc had left me and ignored me and stuff like that.
"that doesnt sound like him" joey said"I didnt think so either but apparently I was wrong" I said sadly "Dont worry he'll be back, He was really taken with you he couldnt stop talking about you during that stupid photo shoot" he said.
"thanks" I replied. By then it was already 9pm. "lets get out of here" I suggested
"sounds good, I know a great place to go" he said smiling. So we got back in the limo and began driving again. Finally we arrived at a night club called club excite. Joey and I went right in and I immediately began dancing. I loved to dance it was a form of stress relief for me. After awhile I found myself grinding with joey. God that man could get down!!!! I was having a blast until I saw jc walk in with lisa. I put more effort into dancing and joey and I were having a blast getting down. I was having fun with Joey until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I let go of a hot and sweaty Joey to turn around. I looked right into those clear blue eyes of jc's "What do you want?" i said nastily.
"Why did you leave me today?" he asked me.
"gee....hmmm.....let me think about that, oh yeah you acted like a jerk by acting like I wasnt there and then ditching me to go out with her." I said angrily.
"No i didnt" he shot back
"so you didnt go and have lunch with her?" i asked.
"well, yeah....but" he began to talk but I interrupted him.
"joey can you take me back to the hotel now?" i said. I walked back to our table with jc following me. I grabbed my purse and began walking out of the club.
"kelly wait!" he called "dont bother coming after me" I called over my shoulder as I walked away. I got back in the limo and went straight back to the hotel. I walked into the hotel got my messages and went to my room. I kicked off my shoes and collapsed into the chair by my computer. I signed onto aol and checked my mail. I got another one from diane.
"Thanks for getting your story in soon, it got the whole front cover awesome writing. You can finish out the week there for a little vacation on us. diane" it said. I felt a twinge of guilt but brushed it off because it was my job and I knew what I was getting into by wanting a relationship with jc. I finished the reast of my email and climbed into bed
clothes and all.
At about noon the next morning I woke up. I was finished with the article and decided to take advantage of the nice weather and my vacation. So i put on my suit and a pair of shorts and walked down to the outside pool.
When I got there, there were only 3 other poeple there, and they were all swimming. I spread my towel out on a chair and took off my shorts. I laid down and began to work on my tan. I was already pretty dark but it couldnt hurt to go a little darker. The children in the pool finally left so it grew quiet. I was starting to fall asleep when someone stood over me and blocked my sun. I opened my eyes to see jc standing over me.
"what do you want?" I asked sitting up.
"Why are you so angry atme?" he asked.
"because you ditched me for another girl" i said.
"I did not you were gone when I came out to meet you" he said.
"no, that secretary said that you left to have lunch with that bitch Lisa" I spat back at him.
"She was wrong" he said " I was in the back of the building checkinh out an old studio I had worked in and when I came up to
meet you Michelle, the secretary, said that you had left" he said sitting down next to me on my chair. "you really didnt have lunch with her?" I asked.
"No, I wouldnt have left you" he said "but you said last night that you did have lunch with her" I said. "well, I did. After you left she kinda dragged me wth her" he told me.
"oh, but then you must have spent the rest of the day with her because you were at the night club last night with her" I said. "No, I wasnt with her all day, god I would have shot myself!" He said laughing. "No, I had a really quick lunch with her and then left to find you. But you werent anywhere that I looked. I came here but you didnt answer so I went home, only to find her waiting for me. She said that she knew where you were so I followed her to the club where I saw you and Joey together.
Getting a little close werent you?" He asked
"yeah well I was having fun. Im not only yours" i simply stated. "there was nothing between joey and I, I wouldnt do that to jen.
I was just having a good time." i said. "Besides I saw you dancing with the whore"
He laughed "you were jealous!"
"I was not!!!" I said loudly
"You were, thats so sweet" he said smiling.
"whatever" i said.
"oh come on dont be like that" he said, " I didnt mean to ignore you today I know how Lisa can get if you dont pay attention to her. She was not one of my best choices for a girlfriend." he said "why?" I asked "Lets just say shes a little psychotic" he said laughing "Im glad I've closed the chapter on that part of my life and moved on....
to you. I'm really sorry about yesterday but I had to pay attention to her otherwise she would have flipped out on us, and I didnt
want to say Oh she's just a friend about you but she seems to think that we'll get back together sometime. And If I had girlfriend
she might have come after you and I wouldnt want that. I truly am sorry" he said. "so will you come with ,e tonight?" he asked.
"where?" I asked "to see my concert" he said.
"oh I completely forgot" i said. "I dont know..." i said
"come on you promised" he said.
"i know, but..." i didnt think I should because I would be leading him on and setting him up because of the story.
"oh come on you know you want to" he coaxed.
I thought about it, it would be fun and I did want to see him preform plus I knew after the article he wouldnt speak to me so now was my chance. "OK" I replied.
"great" he said. I layed back down and closed my eyes.
"HELLO!!!!!" he yelled laughing.
"what?" i asked. He was motioning for me to get up. "now?" i asked
"yeah!" he said"but its only" i checked my watch "1:15" I replied."
"I know but I have to get you ready and go there and do a bunch of stuff" he said.
"ok" I said getting up. He helped me out of my chair.
"are we ok?" he asked "yeah, just dont do it again" i said laughing.
