Chapter 19

One month later

“I miss your mom already.” Freddie said as she cooked dinner. “You two got really close.” JC said as checked on the bread. “She was a real help with getting the extra room turned into a nursery.” Freddie said looking down at her expanding stomach. “It looks really good, you two did a great job.” He said putting a hand on her back. They were getting back to being close friends, but slowly. “Thanks.” “So what did Lynn think when you told her that if it was a girl we wanted to name her Laura Katherine?” JC asked. “She was really touched, she had tears in her eyes when I told her.” “Chris still thinks that if it’s a girl we should honor how she was conceived by naming her Margarita.” Freddie looked at JC, “OVER MY DEAD BODY!”

“FREDDIE!” JC screamed in his sleep, “Freddie NO!” “JC?” Freddie mumbled half awake. “Freddie no don’t die.” JC continued still inside his nightmare. “JC.” Freddie said sitting up in bed and turned towards him. “Freddie don’t die, plead don’t die.” “JC I am right here, I’m fine, wake up!” She said shaking him awake. “Freddie?” JC said sitting up looking at her. “Yeah you were having a bad dream.” She said taking his face in her hands and looked him right in the eyes. “Oh thank god!” He said as he crushed her to him in relief. “I’m okay Blue Eyes, Everything is ok.” She said wrapping her arms around him. “God it feels so good when he holds me.” She thought. They had been sleeping in the same bed but that was all they did in bed. “It was so real though.” JC said burying his face in her light brown hair. “It seemed so real.”

Chapter 20

Four months later

“I’m glad they worked their way back to the really close friendship they had before.” Kiki said as lay in bed with Justin’s arms around her. They had grown close over the months of worrying over Freddie and a month ago they decided to move in together. “Yeah but I wish that they would figure out that they love each other.” Justin said kissing Kiki’s neck. “I thought everything was going to be alright after they both remember the night in Vegas.” She continued. “I guess they both thought that they only said it to each other because they were in the “moment” and not because they meant it.” Justin explained. “Well I hope they figure out soon, for the baby’s sake.”

“JC!” Freddie screamed. “In the bedroom.” He yelled back. “Well get your car keys and get your butt out here we are going to the hospital.” She yelled back trying to ignore the pain. JC came running out of the bedroom with nothing but a towel on. “Go put some clothes on you idiot.” Freddie almost laughed.

“One more push Freddie you can do it.” JC said he rubbed her back as she tried to bring their child into the world. “I am sooooooooo gonna kill Chris!” she screamed through the pain. “Why Chris?” JC asked. “HELLO, if he didn’t spike our drinks I wouldn’t be in so much frieking pain.” She explained as she pushed. “OH I get it now.” JC said before he heard a tiny little cry.

Chapter 21

Two months later

“Freddie I’m home.” JC called into the quiet house. “Quiet?” He wondered out loud, “Why is it so quiet?” “Because your mom and my mom are watching the twins at the house they rented.” Freddie explained as she came out of the bedroom wearing a pair of cutoffs and a halter top. “My God she is unbelievably sexy.” JC thought. “They thought we could use sometime alone.” Freddie explained feeling slightly uncomfortable. “Well at least we can get a full night’s sleep, though I’m not sure I want Laura and Josh away from us for that long.” JC said sitting on the couch. “I know what you mean, but it’s two nights, they said two babies, two nights.” She said sitting next to him. “You know I was reading an article in a magazine today about whether or not Coma victims can hear while their in the coma, since you were in one I thought of you.” JC said. “They can.” “What?” JC asked looking at Freddie in shock. “They can hear what people are saying to them, I heard what people said to me.” She explained, “Did you hear what I said to you?” he asked. “Yes, but I know you didn’t mean it.” She said getting up and going into the kitchen. “What do you mean you know I didn’t mean it?” he asked getting up and following her. “You thought I was going to die.” Freddie explained. “You think I told you I loved you because I thought you were gonna die?” JC asked in shock. “JC the only time you have ever told me you loved me we were either having sex after getting drunk or I was in a coma, don’t worry I’m not holding you to it.” She said as she walked into the bedroom as JC trailed behind her and grabbed her arm, turning her to face him. “Every time I told you that I loved you I meant every word.” He said looking into her eyes. “Don’t do this to me JC.” Freddie pleaded with tears in her eyes. “You may not have the same feelings for me that I do for you, but I am sick and tired of hiding my feelings. I have been in love with you the whole time you’ve been back in Orlando maybe longer.” He said not letting go of her. “You really meant it when you said it back in Vegas?” she asked letting tears fall from her eyes. “Yes.” “Oh my god Blue Eyes we’ve wasted so much time.” She said placing her hands on his face. “What are you saying Freddie?” He asked. “When I told you I loved you back in Vegas I meant it too.” She said. “You mean you love me to?” he asked. She brought her lips up to his in a loving, tender, and sweetest kiss. “Does that answer your question?” she asked when they broke apart.

Epilogue

“JC are you home?” Freddie asked as she walked through the front door. “JC?” “He must have taken Laura and Josh to see Lynn or something.” She thought. She put her purse down and noticed red and white rose petals on the floor. “My favorite.” She thought as she followed the trail of petals to the master bedroom. When she walked through the door she saw candles and flowers everywhere and heard soft music playing. She smiled and looked around the room for JC. “The twins are at Lynn’s so tonight you’re all mine.” JC said as he came up from behind her and wrapped her up in a searing embrace. “Hmm just the way I like, my god I love what you’re wearing.” Freddie said as they pulled apart and she saw that all he was wearing were a pair of sapphire blue silk pajama bottoms. “I like what you’re wearing to, but I would like a lot better if you weren’t wearing it.” JC said as he slowly pushed the straps of her sundress off until it fell to the floor in a pool of satin. “Oh Mr. Chasez you drive me crazy. No Pun intended.” Freddie joked. “Well MRS. Chasez you drive me wild.” JC said as he picked her up and carried her to the rose petal covered bed.

“I love you JC.” Freddie said as she lay naked in his arms. “I love you to.” JC replied. “We seem to be saying that a lot lately.” Freddie responded. “We are making sure we don’t ever make the mistake we made before.” JC replied. “Well just have to make up for all the times we should of said it but didn’t.” she said. “Freddie?” JC asked as he reached to grab something from the nightstand. “Yes?” she asked. “I have something to ask you.” He said sitting up in bed. “Then ask.” JC look Freddie’s hand and look her in the eyes. “Frederica Lynn Ciazzo Chasez, I love you more than anything in this world along with the two most beautiful children in the world. I would be the happiest man in the universe if you would do me the honor of marrying me?” He asked as he opened a small velvet box to reveal a single sapphire ring with tiny diamonds surrounding it. “Again?” She asked with tears trickling down her cheek. “Forever.” “Well in that case…” Freddie said giving him a kiss then holding her left hand up, which had been naked from any jewelry . “Well what are you waiting for put it on my finger.” “Gladly.” JC said as he took the ring out and placed it on her ring finger of her left hand. “Forever.” They said as they looked into one another’s eyes.
