Chapter 29

Tina giggled at Chris.
"You did that on purpose!"
"Me?" Chris asked innocently.
"No, him," Tina said, pointing behind Chris.
Chris turned his head.
"Uh.. Tina, I hate to break it to you, but there isn't anybody there."
"You are so silly!" Tina laughed.
"Look! He's gonna kill her!" Chris exclaimed, turning his attention to the movie.
Tina turned too and watched the killer walk slowly up to the girl. The killer rose his knife and....
"BOO!" Chris said, throwing his arms around her.
"Oh, GOD!" she said, putting her hand over her heart and turning to face him. "Scare me to death why don't you?"
Chris grinned. "I did."
"Why you little.." Tina started but before she could finnish Chris kissed her.

Mandi shivered.
"Josh," she cried helplessly, "Please.. No."
"Shh.." Josh said. "It's gonna be ok."
She shook her head. "It won't. It won't Josh."
"Shut up!" he threatened.
She pulled back. "Get out, Josh! Leave. Leave-Me-Alone."
"I said SHUT UP!" he screamed loudly.
Mandi screamed in fright. "Get away!"

JC jumped up.
He heard Mandi scream something.
He ran as fast as he could to her room.
"Mandi? What's the matter?" he demanded.
"JC? JC! Ohmigosh, JC!" she cried so hard that he could barely understand her.
"I'm gonna kill you!" a man's voice came from inside the room.
"I think not!" JC screamed, trying to open the door.

Josh let go of Mandi and walked to the door.
"Having trouble getting in, JC?" he asked sweetly.
"No!" JC said as the door burst open.
"JC!" Mandi screamed.
JC looked over at her as if to make sure she was all right. Then he looked at Josh.
"Harvey?" he asked.
"Yep! Middle name! Well, I'll be going now!" he said.
Suddenly the lights went out and when they flashed back on, he was gone.

"It's ok, Mandi," JC said, holding Mandi tightly while she cired her eyes out.
"I thought he was gonna.." she stopped suddenly and started bawling uncontrollably again.
"I.. I never told you.. did I?" she said finally.
"No, but it's ok. You can tell me whenever you feel like it. Never if you don't want to." JC said, kissing the top of her head.
"I'll tell you, JC." she said, relaxing as she fell asleep.
JC sretched out with her on her bed.
"It'll be ok," he promised.

Chapter 30

The next morning Mandi woke up and turned around facing JC
"Oh, he looks so cute when he sleeps", Mandi thought to herself. Then she started to remember what had happened the night before. She started to cry thinking about it.
JC started to move in his sleep then he opened his eyes.
"What's wrong?", JC asked concerned right away.
Mandi nodded, "nothing just thinking"
"are you sure?", JC asked sitting himself up with his arm. He rubbed Mandi's arm.
Mandi looked up at him seeing protection in his eyes, "No, JC what if he comes back!"
"Shhh.." JC said hugging her. "I'll be here"
"But JC he's not going to stop i know he's not", Mandi said getting up from the bed and pacing back and forth.
"Mandi calm down", JC said sitting up.
"I gotta leave JC before he comes back", Mandi said.
"Mandi you don't have to leave, me and the guys will protect you", JC replied.
"I don't know", Mandi said thinking.
"Mandi who is he? and what does he want with you?", JC asked not able to keep the mystery unsolved.
Mandi stared at him decided what to do.

"Breakfast is served", Justin said walking into the his bedroom where Skyler was looking at a magazine.
"What?", Skyler said looking up to see Justin with a tray of food. "Wow!"
"You like?", Justin said putting the tray on the bed and then sitting down next to her.
"Yep! but what if you give me food poisoning or something", Skyler joked.
"that hurts that really hurts!", Justin replied pretending to cry.
"Oh, poor baby!", Skyler said picking up a strawberry from the tray and feeding it to Justin.

"Hello? Mandi are you there?", JC said waving his hands in front of her face.

Chapter 31

"Well, JC.. I..." Mandi began.
"Mandi!" Tina said, walking in the room.
She stopped suddenly. "Hi.. JC." she said with an amused look on her face.
"What?" Mandi asked.
"Telephone!" she said.
Mandi looked fearfully at JC.
He nodded.
"Ok," she said in a shaky voice.
Tina handed her the phone and walked to the door. She turned around. "So, are you two together now?"
JC turned a dark red color.
"No.." Mandi said.
"And that is what shade of red?" Tina laughed, walking out the door.

JC rolled his eyes, and looked down at Mandi.
She stared at the phone, and then at him.
She seemd so scared.
"Answer it," he said, hugging her.
She nodded, putting the phone to her ear.
"Hello?"

"You will not belive this!" Tina said, walking into Chris's room.
"What?" Chris asked, pulling her close to him.
"JC and Mandi.."
"Don't!!!" Chris said. "I knew it was gonna happen, but DO NOT say that!"
"Ugh... I was gonna say that they slept in Mandi's room together and they were kinda all over each other.. Or at least that was what it looked like.."
"Tina!" Chris said, holding his hand in front of her face. "You talk too fast."
Tina rolled her eyes. "You talk too much."

"Hello??" Mandi said again.
"If you tell him, you'll die." Josh's voice came through the reciever.
"I.."
"Bye!" he said, hanging up the phone.
Mandi stared at the phone, then looked up at JC.
"Well?" he asked, a concerned look in his eyes.
"It was.. Josh.." she cried, burying her head in her hands.
"Shh.." Jc said, pulling her as close to him as he could.

CHAPTER 32

Mandi calmed down and went to go take a shower. While she was doing that JC went down stairs where everyone was talking.
"Hey JC", Skyler said being the first one to see him.
"hey", He replied weakly, sitting down on one of the couch.
"what's wrong?", Tina asked.
"Nothing why?", JC replied not wanted to tell the others, in case Mandi didn't want them knowing.
"Cause man you look down", Joey said.
"Nope, nothing's wrong", JC said putting on a fake smile.
"Okay, So about what were talking about before......OH...about having a surprise for you girls", Justin said with a huge smile.
The girls heads immediately went up and looked over at Justin.
"What is it? What is it? What is it?", Sheena asked pulling Justin's arm.
"ow, ow, ow, ow , ow", Justin screamed "Chill girl!....Like i was saying a surprise"
"Justin just tell them!", Chris said getting annoyed.
"Guess who's going on tour with us?", Justin asked.
"US?", Tina asked.
"Ding ding ding, Chris tell her was she was won", Justin said.
"Me!", Chris said excitedly.
"oh," Tina replied disappointed.
"What!?" Chris asked.
"Just playing with you", Tina said to jumping on his lap.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!", Sheena finally spit out.
"YEP!", Joey yelled back.
"AHHHH!!!", Skyler yelled "this is sooo cool!"

"SKYLER!!!", Mandi yelled from upstairs.
"i'll be back", Skyler said getting up and walking up the stairs.
"what's up?", Skyler said walking into Mandi's room.
"he's back!", Mandi said in tears.
"JOSH!?", Skyler asked.
"yeah, shh..", Mandi replied.
"and he's been threatening me", mandi continued.
"Did you call the police?", Skyler asked.
"no i'm afraid he'll hurt me", Mandi replied. "and he said if i tell JC anything he'll kill him."
"maybe we should go away for a while?", Skyler suggested.
"Sky, he'll find me i know it", Mandi said getting up and walking out the door.
"Where are you going?!", Skyler asked.
"For a walk i need some fresh air", Mandi replied.
"wait for me i don't want you going alone", Skyler said.

Chapter 33

"Sky, I can walk alone, ya know.." Mandi started.
Skyler shook her head. "No, you can't."
"Yes, I can," Mandi said, walking out of the room.
She walked down the stairs and into the living room.
"Look who's finally decided to grace us with her presence!" Joey said.
"Shut up," she said, walking out the door.
She walked down the sidewalk a block when JC was suddenly beside her.
"Hey.." he said.
"Hey, JC." she said plainly.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah.." she said, beginning to break down again.
She took a turn into a dark alley where they could talk alone.
"Mandi..." he said, putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Oh, JC! What if he gets me? What if he comes after me?" she cried.
JC shook his head. "Don't jump out a window."
Mandi looked up at him, surprised. "Why would I do that?"
He grinned. "Maybe because you're scared?"

"What was that about?" Joey asked, confused.
"Bad night last night?" Justin asked.
"Bad morning maybe?" Tina grinned at JC.
"Shut up," he said. "Why do you insist that we.." he stopped for a minute. "I'm going for a walk."
Skyler ran down the stairs. "JC, you have to catch up with her! GO!!"

JC ran as fast as he could down the block.
'Why didn't I take Lynn's car?' he wondered.
"MANDI!" he screamed.
A few people looked at him like he was a crazy person.
Skyler's words running through his head made him go faster.
'..You have to catch up..' he reminded himself.
Chapter 34

Mandi got a little confused by what JC had just said, "JC why would you say Don't jump out a window?", She asked.
"because you've done it before when you were scared of Josh", JC said with a little laugh.
"How do you know that?", Mandi asked getting scared.
"I was there Honey", JC said stroking Mandi's hair.
"what?", Mandi said looking at JC closely and pulling away. "Your scaring me"
"Why do I always scare you mandi?I just want to be with you i love you, you haven't understood that since we were little!", JC screamed.
"Ohmygosh!", Mandi said realizing it wasn't JC she was with but it was Josh. "JOSH! WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE!", said added now crying.
"Now that i got you we'll be together forever", Josh said covering her mouth and pulling her over to the car he had waiting at the end of the alley.

"MANDI!", JC screamed now frantically looking for her.
He started back to the house to get help from everyone else and find out what was going on.
"Sky! Tina!", JC said running into the house.
"What!?", they yelled from the kitchen.
"I can't find her anywhere where could she be?!", JC yelled with fear.
"JC calm down!", Tina said.
"No, what if Josh gets her!", JC said.
"Let me go get the rest of the guys.", Tina said leaving the room.
"JC i think you need to know the whole story", Skyler said. "sit down"
"okay", JC sat down ready to listen.

Mandi tried to get away but josh was holding her tight.
"Leave me alone", she yelled in the car. Josh grabbed her forcefully and kissed her, mandi struggling to pull away.

CHAPTER 35

"Josh! You're hurting me! Let go!" Mandi screamed as loud as she could when he pulled her out of the car.
A couple of people looked up at them curiously.
"Shut up!" he said, pulling her.
"Where are you taking me? Let me go! HELP!" she screamed franticly.
Some people rolled their eyes, some neglected to even look.
"What's the matter with you people?!? I'm being kidnap..." she stopped when Josh put his hand over her mouth.
"Get your hands off me!" she tried to scream.
"Shut up, Mandi. JC is going to die if you don't." Josh whispered in her ear.
'JC!' she thought, hopefully. 'He'll save me... maybe.'
"JC would kill you twice before you touched him!" Mandi yelled at the top of her lungs when she was released.
"Shut up!" he told her again.
She looked around the warehouse he'd taken her too. "This is classic, Josh! A warehouse?" She couldn't help but giggle. "How original."

"She ran away when she was seventeen." Skyler said, standing up.
JC's eyes were wide. "She.. she thought I was Josh? When we first met?"
"Yes.. but JC, she hadn't seen him in three years. You do favor him." she said, putting her hand on his shoulder.
JC felt a need to find Mandi right then.
"We have to find her." he said, standing up.
He felt slightly hurt that she'd mistaken him for her brother, but he decided he'd get over it.
"Right.." Lance walked in. "Come on JC, me, you and Justin are going to look for her. Chris and Joey are going to stay by the phone. Skyler: you, Tina and Sheena are going to the police."
"My best friend has been kidnapped by her maniac brother and you want me to GO TO THE POLICE?" Skyler exclaimed.
"Yep, now go!" Justin said, walking in the room. "Get up, JC!"
JC stood up and walked out the door. "Come on! You are going too slow!" he called to Justin and Lance.

In The Car

"Isn't love great?" Lance asked sarcastically as Justin shoved Skyler into Sheena's car once more.
"Yeah." JC said, absentmindedly.
Justin leaned down, kissed Skyler on the cheek and shut the door.
"JUSTIN!" JC yelled.
Lance looked over at JC.
"I can't just sit here knowing what Josh could be doing to Mandi right now!" JC said leaning his head back and rubbing his forehead.
"You know?" Lance asked.
"Yeah, Skyler just told me." JC said, looking at Lance. "You know?"
"Mandi told me yesterday." Lance nodded.
"You know what I don't get? I don't get why she can trust everybody but me!" JC said, on the verge of tears.
"That's just it." Lance explained. "She trusts you so much, but she's afraid to trust you."
"Lance, you know I love you man, but right now, I don't need to hear one of your lectures. I need to go find Mandi." JC said as Justin climbed in the car, started it up and pulled out into the street.

Chapter 36

"Excuse me!", Skyler yelled at the police station, her and the rest of the girls had been there for half an hour and no one had helped them.
"can i help you?", A officer said coming to the counter.
"YES!", Skyler said rudely.
"Sky, calm down", Tina spoke up turning to the officer, "officer, we're here to report a kidnapping"
"okay, how long has this person been gone, what's there name, and age?", the officer said reading the paper work.
"umm...about 2 hours, Mandi, and she's 20", Sheena spoke up.
"okay, well come back tomorrow afternoon then we can help you", the officer explained.
"what?! tomorrow?! do you know what can happen in that time? my friend is in danger and your going to sit around here and eat donuts!?", Skyler yelled in his face.
"excuse her it's her best friend", Tina explained leading Skyler out of the police station.
"Can you believe that!? I told Justin they wouldn't be any help!", Skyler said still angry.

"man can't you drive faster?!", JC said impatiently by lance's slow driving.
"I would if i knew where we were going!", Lance snapped back. "exactly what are we looking for?"
"Anything", JC said.
"Why don't we get off and ask around if anyone has seen them?", Justin suggested.
"yeah let's do that", JC said
Lance pulled over and they all got out of the car.
"i feel so helpless", JC said as they walked over to a couple sitting on a bench.

Josh went to the back of the warehouse leaving Mandi in the front alone.
"how am i going to get out of here", Mandi thought to herself looking at the tall walls and no windows.

Chapter 37

'No windows, one door, no light to see what the heck I'm doing...' Mandi thought as calmly as she could. 'Fifty freaking people that saw me be kidnapped and didn't care, and one missing JC.'
"Don't worry about escaping, Mandi. You won't be going anywhere," a voice said.
She knew it wasn't Josh.
She turned around abruptly, finding herself face-to-face with a guy about 5'6" with black hair down to his chin and large blue eyes.
"Who do you think you are?" she demanded. "What do you think you're doing?"
She tried to pull away as he pulled her into a room that she hadn't noticed was there.
"I think my name is Tyson. And I think I'm tying you up." he replied, sitting her down in a chair.
"I don't give a rat's butt if your name is Tyson, but I'll be darn if you are gonna tie me up!" she continued to yell at him as he tried to tie her to the chair.
"Be still!" he said, cursing her under his breath.
"Wanna say that a little bit louder?" Josh asked, walking into the room.
"No.." Tyson said.
"I told you to tie her to a chair, not curse her like she was some kind of animal," Josh said.
"Shut up, Josh! It's not like you are some kind of perfect gentleman!" Mandi yelled, her anger getting the best of her.
It was then she noticed she was sitting in a room filled with gun powder and explosives.
"Oh my dear Lord!!!" she whispered.

"Excuse me?" JC said to a lady sitting down beside a tree in the park.
He'd asked about ten people and no one had seen Mandi or Josh.
"Yes?" she asked, looking up at him.
"I was wondering if you'd seen a girl and a guy... The girl is twenty, about 5'4" with brown hair and green eyes. The guy is about.. well.. I have no idea, but he resembles me a little bit." JC said hopefully.
"Yes, actually, I did." the lady nodded.
"Ohmigosh! You did?!?" JC asked. "Do you know where they were going? What were they doing?"
"Well, he had her by the hands and they were walking toward that alley over there," she paused to point. "She was crying and screaming... I thought they were just joking."
"You thought they were JOKING?" JC yelled.
"Well, yes.. I mean.." she stuttered.
"That man just kidnapped the love of my life, only God knows what his crazy mind has in store for her, and you thought they were JOKING?" JC exclaimed, trying as hard as he could to control his anger.
"I'm.. I'm so sorry!" the woman cried. "Let me help you look for her!"
JC didn't have time to say no before she was up and running and he was running after her.

Justin looked over at Lance.
"Where is JC going?" he asked.
Lance's head jerked up. "He found someone! Hurry!"
It took Justin all of a millisecond to get up and run.
Lance was close behind.

"What do you mean they wouldn't help?" Chris yelled.
"They wouldn't help!" Tina said, holding a crying Skyler back from slapping Chris cross-eyed.
Joey was hugging Sheena while she cried, but he looked like he was gonna cry himself.
"They wouldn't help? They wouldn't help?" he kept repeating over and over.
The phone rang.
Before anyone could do anything, Skyler had the phone in her hand.
"HELLO?!?" she said.

JC ran into one of the rooms in the abandoned warehouse.
The others had split up to find her.
He could make out her form, tied to a chair in the back right corner.
Her head shot up when she notice him. He could clearly see the fright in her eyes, despite the darkness.
"Josh?" she asked.
JC was too happy to let himself be offended. "Shh... It's JC.." he said, walking to her.
"JC?" she repeated. "What took you so long?"
"I got caught in traffic." he said sarcastically. "Did he hurt you? I'll kill him."
"Ohmigosh!" Mandi said suddenly.
JC whirled around, expecting to see someone there. No one.
"What?" he asked.
"This room is full of dynamite and gun powder.." she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Dynamite?" JC asked.
"It's in all of these boxes." she confirmed.
JC's hands found her face.
"Before either I forget or chicken out.." he said, pulling her close to him.

Chapter 38

"Sky, it's me Justin," he said as soon as she answered.
"JUSTIN! the police won't help us I told you! why did you make me waste my time I could of been out looking for my best ....." Skyler said when she was finally cut off by Justin.
"Baby, calm down. We found Mandi," he said.
"You did?! Where? Is she okay? What did you guys do with Josh?" she asked all at once.
"Baby just get everyone together and drive to 54th street, then I'll explain everything," Justin explained.
"Okay bye," Skyler said hanging up before he could say anything.

"Wow," Mandi said after a long passionate kiss with JC. She looked at him and punched his arm.
"What was that for!?" JC said rubbing his arm.
"What took you so long to finally kiss me I've been waiting forever!" Mandi replied.
"Had to find the right time, besides you could of kissed me first!" JC replied.
"Do I gotta do everything," Mandi replied.
"What!? Mandi..." JC started when someone spoke up.
"Do you guys always fight!" Lance said. "Maybe we should get her untied and out of here before you two argue okay?"
"Okay," the both said in unison.
"I don't think so," Josh said walking into the room.
