Chapter 1

"What the HELL is that noise?" JC yelled as he sat up in his bed. He walked over to the window rubbing his sleepy eyes. Looking out the large window he saw why there was music blasting.
"What's wrong?" a sleepy aggravated Justin asked as he walked into his friend's room. "Why are you yelling?"
"Look at this." JC said as he pointed out the window. "These girls are outside, looks like they are getting ready to go somewhere, but this girl is singing along with the music." Justin walked over to the window just in time to see the red headed girl jump on the back of the car.
"What's that noise?" Joey asked as he walked in with Chris tagging behind. "Ohh! Girls!" Joey's sleepy eyes popped open causing the other guys to crack into hysterics.
"That red head looks about your age Curly." Chris said as he pushed his way past Justin to the window.
"Yeah, well looks like JC over there has already claimed her." Lance said as he laughed at JC's dazed expression. No one had noticed him slip into the room.
"Shut up!" JC snapped when he found the guys staring at him.
God she is beautiful!

"Ok, Rachel turn it up I like this song!" Haley yelled as she jumped on the back of her jeep. " WHAT A GIRL WANTS, WHAT A GIRL NEEDS, OOOH, HEY, YEAH YEAH" Haley sang as Rachel jumped up next to her. As she fixed her red hair up into a ponytail she didn't notice JC looking out his window with Justin close behind.
Wow she is really beautiful!
"I ONLY LOOKED, BUT I NEVER TOUCHED, CAUSE IN MY HEART WAS A PICTURE OF US!" Haley rolled her shirt up like Christina Aguelira. "It will get the full effect!" Haley explained as Lauren pulled her off the car.
"Get your skanky butt off that car! Your gonna wake the neighbors!"
"TOO LATE!" Justin yelled out the window but the girls didn't hear him.
"Where's Kelly and Sarah?" Haley asked as the song changed. "Ohh! Another good song!" By now all the guys had crowded around the window eagerly watching Haley sing to Cline Dion.
"WHEN LIFE IS EMPTY WITH NO TOMRROW AND LONELINESS STARTS TO CALL!" Haley laughed as Kelly and Sarah ran out singing the background vocals.
"Rachel fast-forward to Michael!" Lauren yelled as Rachel sat in the driver's seat.
"ABC, EASY AS 1 2 3!" Haley jumped off the car and started dancing with Rachel.
"Ok I'm going back to bed!" Joey said as he started to walk out of the room.
"I WANT YOU BACK!" Blasted from the car as all the girls started dancing along with the music.
"Ohh! Fans!" Joey said returning to the window. When the song ended all the girls jumped into the car. They left the driveway with Haley singing to "CRAZY!" by Britney Spears.
"Are they new neighbors?" Lance asked as he remembered the blond walking out of the house.
"Yeah, my mom said that they moved in last week. They lived in a town an hour away from Orlando but moved here for some reason. One of them babysat for Jonathan once." Justin explained as he sat down on the bed.
"Have we invited them into the neighborhood?" Joey asked a foxy smile appearing on face. "That brunette, the one with the yellow shirt, I would like get to know her better!"
"Yeah, that blond was pretty fine too!" Lance said as the image appeared in his mind again.
"The short brunette is mine y'all!" Chris said as he walked out of the room.
"The red head looks my age." Justin said "But I think her friend, the one with black hair is too, she mine! Ok? And anyways, JC would probably kill me if I went after the redhead. He was lookin' at her the whole time!" While the guys had been talking JC was still staring out the window.
That red head is amazing! You are right Justin…she is mine! Did you see the way she smiled? Beautiful! And her laugh was almost as wonderful as her voice.
"Ok guys" JC said as he came out of his trance. "Lets get some sleep. Maybe I can talk that to that red-head when I wake up!"
Chapter 2

On Monday, the guys had to get up early to meet Johnny at the studio. As JC was getting up heard a voice outside.
"Ok! I'll see ya later!" Haley yelled as she closed the door to the house.
It's her! OK JC let's go talk to her!
Justin came running into the room just as a JC came out of his daydream.
"JC, Joey and I have an idea, let's go over to those girl's house and talk to them! We can make an excuse like we need some sugar or something? Ok?"
"Justin, it is 7:00 in the morning, no one will believe us if we ask for sugar now!" JC said.
"Ok, I never thought about that, good point" Justin said as he plopped himself on the end of the bed.
"When we get back from the studio, we'll go over there."
Maybe then that redhead will be there.
"Good idea!" Justin said as he walked out of the room.
Hope they will be there!

When JC pulled into the driveway the guys basically jumped out the car while it was still moving. Justin ran inside to grab the measuring cup, convinced that his plan would work.
"Ok, Chris, you knock!" JC said as he waited hesitantly in the back.
"NO! Justin's plan…he knocks!"
"Move, I'll do it!" Joey said as he walked up to the door. Justin stood behind him with the cup ready in his hands.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Who could that be?" Lauren asked not directing the question to anyone. She ran to the door and opened it surprised to find five handsome young men standing behind it.
"May I help you?" Kelly asked as she peered out from behind Lauren.
"Yes, can we borrow some sugar?" Joey asked. "Oh, and by the way my name is Joey.
"I know who you are." Lauren said as she opened the door wider to welcome them in. "My name's Lauren."
"Nice to meet you Lauren." Joey said shaking her hand.
"I have a cup!" Justin said almost shoving it in Rachel's face.
"Thanks." Rachel said as she gazed into his blue eyes. "AAHHCCHHHOO!"
"Bless you." Justin said as he grabbed her a tissue from the Puffs box on the table to the right of the door. "Are you sick?"
"Yes" Rachel answered after blowing her nose. "That's why I'm not at school right now."
"Well, then you can have some of my cookies when they are finished, they will make you feel better."
"Thanks and by the way my name's Rachel." She shook his open hand.
"Justin." He responded following her into the kitchen.
"And your name is?" Chris asked looking at Kelly.
"Kelly, nice to meet you Chris." She shook his hand still a little stunned to see 'N Sync standing in front of her.
"SO why aren't you in school?" Chris asked directing his question towards Kelly.
"My next class is at 2:00" Kelly said "I go to Florida State."
"Oh" Chris said as he flashed her an "I'm Single!" smile.
"Do you go to FS too?" Joey asked as he sat down next to Lauren.
"Yep my next class is in…oh SHIT! 15 mins." Lauren said as she rushed towards the door.
"Hello, my name is Lance. It is a pleasure to make your aquatince." Lance said taking Sarah's hand.
Sarah blushed furiously at his gentlmen like attitude. "The pleasure is all mine Lance. My name is Sarah. Would you like something to drink?"
"That would be great." Sarah shook her head and motioned for Lance to follow her into the kitchen. "I'm guessing that you go to FS too?" Lance said as he walked towards Sarah.
"Yes. I do actually," Sarah said as turned around. She didn't realize how close she was to Lance and it surprised her to find his face only inches away from hers.
"Do you go to FS?" Justin asked as he watched Rachel spoon the sugar into the cup.
"No I go to Jane Ryan High School." Rachel said as she handed Justin the cup. While everyone was talking JC looked at the pictures on the wall and tables. There were group shots and single photos. He was looking mostly at the red head's pictures.
Wow she looks great in a bathing suit. What a smile! And her eyes are so brown! Figures that she's not here. I always have bad luck.
"So what's with him?" Rachel asked elbowing Justin to get his attention.
"Ow girlie that hurt! Who, what are you talkin about?" Justin asked confused as he rubbed his stomach.
"Him." Rachel pointed at JC looking at a single photo of Haley. "He like photography or something?" Justin looked over and smiled at his friend staring at the photograph oblivious to them pointing at him.
"Oh him, he likes your friend, the red head…what's her name?" Justin asked as he turned around to face Rachel. He was surprised to find that he was talking himself.
"She's pretty isn't she?" Rachel said as she walked up behind JC.
"Yes she's beautiful," JC said as he placed the picture back on the table. "What's her name?"
"Haley, she goes to Jane Ryan High with me. She is there now."
"Really? That's right down the street right?" JC asked as he turned back to the picture.
"Yeah"
"What time does she get out?"
"1:45…why?"
"I want to go and meet her." JC said as he turned back around, a smile on his face.
"Ah watch out, she's quite a handful!" Rachel said as she turned to Justin who had been listening to their conversation.
"Thanks for the warning" JC said as he turned back to the photos. Everyone had struck up their own conversations and Joey had volunteered to drive Lauren to her class so no one noticed JC slip out the door 1:30.
"Thanks for the sugar." Justin said as he stepped on the porch. "I'll bring the cookies over later ok?"
"Sure" Rachel said before closing the door. Justin ran across the street to catch up with the other guys.
"MOM, MOM!" Justin yelled as he ran franticly through the house.
"Justin, man what's wrong?" Chris asked as he laughed at his frenzied friend.
"I need to make cookies!" Justin shouted as he turned around. "And where's JC?"
"Yeah I didn't see him when we left." Lance said as he sat down at the table.
"Wait what time it is?" Justin asked as he peeked his head out over the counter.
"1:40 but why?" Chris asked a little confused.
"JC's down at the high school." Justin replied his head still in the cabinet.
"Why?"
"My guess is that at this moment he is hittin on that red head Haley." Justin said as he stood up with a smile on his face.

CHAPTER 3
How am I going to find her?
As JC pulled into the school's parking lot the clock read 1:43.
Ok JC why not try the office?
When JC opened the door that read "OFFICE" on the front he saw how his plan might not work. Everyone in the room seemed to busy to help him so he stood there awkwardly for a while until the secretary noticed him.
"May I help you?" she asked annoyed to be bothered from her work.
"Yes, I'm look for a Haley…" Just at that moment Haley walked into the office, startling JC.
"You called me down? Do I have a message?" Haley asked as she smiled at the secretary.
"Yes. Russ wanted me to give this to you. He said he would talk to you about it at practice." She said as she handed her an envelope with her name written on it.
"Ok Thanks!" Haley said as she studied the letter. She walked out of the room humming a song.
"Now what did you need?" The secretary asked as she looked around for JC but he had followed Haley out the door.
RRRRRIIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!!!!!
After the bell rang all the kids filed out of the classrooms distracting JC, and making him lose sight of Haley.
Shit! Fine I'll wait for her out front.
JC walked out to his jeep trying to blend in with the teenage crowd. Hopping into his jeep he pulled it out in front of the school. He didn't notice Haley walk out the doors towards his jeep.
Nice car! Great job on the paint and looks like the owner really takes care of her.
Haley ran her finger along the side as she walked around the back to the driver's side. JC noticed her and stood up a little surprised.
"Like my car?" JC asked startling Haley a bit.
Wow! Look at those eyes! And his hair is a perfect finish to his beautiful face. And that body! WOOHOO! Wouldn't mind seein him in a bathing suit!
"Are you ok?" JC's question shook Haley out of her daydream.
"Oh yeah I just…um..like your car. I have one like it." Haley mumbled as she turned to walk away.
"Wait!" JC yelled as Haley turned back around to face him. "My name is JC."
"Haley Grogan, nice to meet you JC." Haley said shaking his outstretched hand.
"I'm your neighbor and your friend Rachel asked me to pick you up." JC said as he opened his car door.
"How do you know Rachel?" Haley asked as her eyebrow raised in suspicion.
She would have introduced me to a hottie like you!
"Actually I met her this morning. It's a long story, mind if I tell you in the car?"
"Well thanks for the offer but I have soccer practice now." Haley turned and started to walk towards the field. It was then that JC noticed the red Adidas back pack slung on her shoulder.
"When does it get over? I'll give you a ride home then." JC said as he stepped in front of her. Haley was intrigued by his perseverance.
"5:00 but it doesn't start until 2:30." Haley said as she walked around JC. "I'll see ya around JC."
Way to go JC! Your luck must be changing!
JC decided to watch Haley's practice from his car. He didn't want to get spotted and then get in trouble with Lou. He hadn't thought that Haley recognized him seeing that she didn't say anything when he talked to her. Just so that no one else would spot him he would keep a low profile.

When the practice ended he got out and waited for Haley. She started walking towards him but continued past to a nearby bench.
"You're still here. I thought you would have to sign some autographs or fly half way around the world by now." Haley said as she took of her cleats.
OK so she does know who I am.
"I'm still here, given you a ride home remember." JC said as he flashed her a smile. He walked to the bench and sat down next to her. JC watched intrigued as Haley slipped off her cleats, socks, and shin pads. She slipped on low cut socks and some Adidas sneakers. Haley finished tying her sneakers and then stood up. She placed her cleats and shin pads in her backpack and slung it on her back.
"I'm runnin home…don't know about you?" Haley said as she smiled at JC.
"But…wait…you said I could give you a ride if I waited until after your practice." JC whined.
"Actually I just told you when my practice ended and that I would see ya around." Haley turned around and started her run home.
Haley how could you have done that? A cute guy, who happens to be famous, wants to give you a ride home and he actually seems nice. But then maybe you're doing the right thing by running; you never do have luck with relationships.
Haley turned around to see JC walking towards his car.
Rachel you were right! She is a handful!
JC hopped into his jeep and waited until Haley reached the main road. Starting his car he sped out of the parking lot. He rolled his window down when he reached Haley on the sidewalk.
"Please get in the car!" JC said pleading with his eyes.
"It's ok, you can go home. I like running home…very invigorating." Haley responded keeping her eyes straight ahead. She knew if she looked into those blue eyes there would be no backing out.
"Please!" JC yelled out the window. Haley smiled at his constant pertinacity and stopped running. JC pulled his car over and opened the passenger's seat door.
"Your not going to give up are you?" Haley asked as JC's twinkling eyes sucked her in.
"NOPE!" JC smiled and Haley hopped in.
"I admire your persistence." Haley said as she turned to face JC.
"Thank you." JC started the car and pulled back onto the road.
"Do you mind if I turn the radio on?" Haley asked as she bent down to the switch
"No go ahead," JC said as he concentrated on the road.
"WHO IS THAT GIRL I SEE STARING STRAIGHT BACK AT ME. WHEN WILL MY REFLECTION SHOW WHO I AM INSIDE." Haley sang quietly along with the song while she stared out the window.
"Do you like this song?" JC asked as she started mouthing the words.
"Yeah, it hits a little to close home is you know what I mean." Haley said as she flashed a weak smile across her face. There was something about this man that made it ok for Haley to easily say stuff like that. Her mind silently scolded her.
Why am I telling this to him? I barely know him.
"MUST THERE BE A SECRET ME I'M BOUND TO HIDE. I WON"T PRETNED THAT I'M SOMEONE ELSE FOR ALL TIME." Haley stopped singing and turned to see JC watching her closely. "Sorry" she laughed a little.
"What's so funny?" JC asked as he turned his attention back to the road.
"I just thought about what you must think about me singin, it's funny." Haley found herself staring at JC her mind arguing back and forth.
WOW! What a profile! His features are just so beautiful. Snap out of it Haley! He is off limits.
"Actually it is nice, sorta changes the everyday routine ya know." JC asked snapping Haley out of her trance.
"Hmm." Haley turned back to the window.
Wow she is so beautiful! Her face is perfect, how her eyes sparkle when she smiles, her nose wrinkles, and a dimple appears. And her lips that are so beautiful, letting her optimistic, witty, unique personality flow by way of her beautiful voice. Her hair flies wild in the wind and accents her already beautiful face. She is too good to be true.
"Ah, JC you just drove by my house." Haley said as she watched her home past by in the window.
Not paying attention to the road. Great idea JC!
"Oh sorry."' JC said as he pulled a U-turn. "Want to meet the guys?
"Sure" Haley replied not really sure who the guys were.
"Great!" JC stopped in front of the house across from Haley's.
