Chapter 14

two weeks later.

"Evangalyne you need to get some rest." Lance said. "I am not leaving him." "Give or take showers you have been here for two weeks straight." Justin begged. "I AM NOT LEAVING HIM, TIMBERLAKE!" "We'll be out side if you need us." lance sighed as him and Justin left the room. Evangalyne sat there holding JC's hand. "Wake up. Just please wake up" She said to him. BEEP...BEEP...BEEP..."Just keep beeping you stupid machine," she thought," just keep beeping." She brought his hand to her cheek. "I remember when you first asked me out," she said to him," you were so nervous. Like I was gonna say no or something." BEEP...BEEP... "Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if I had said no." BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. "JC?" Evangalyne panicked, "Nurse, someone, help!" Evanglayne yelled. "Don't you dare die on me Joshua Scott Chasez, DON'T YOU DARE! I don't want to be without you, Teddy just found out don't take that away from her now, I'll hate you for that if you do." "Miss you need to leave." The nurse said. "JC I love you! So don't you dare die on me."

"I can't lose him Timberlake, I just can't, he has to know I love him." Evangalyne sobbed in Justin's arms. "It's gonna be okay, they've returned his heartbeat to normal." Justin said as he stroked her hair. "That doesn't mean a thing, he still hasn't opened his eyes." "You really do love him don't you?" Mrs. Chasez stated. "For more than six years of my life." Evangalyne replied. 'he never stopped loving you either.'" JC's mother said, placing her hand over Evangalyne's. "I just wish he would wake up and tell me that himself."

a few days later

Evangalyne once agaoin sat vigil at JC's hospital bed, willing him to wake up and live. "I remember the first time you said that you loved me." She said holding his hand. "We were at the beach, in our little special cove, watching the waves crash. When you put your arms around me and whispered "I love you Evan." I remeber how happy that made me and how happy you were when I told you I loved you to. " Tears were staining her cheeks. "I have gotten the same feeling of happines everytime you've told me you loved me, I never want to hear those words from anyone but you. Please wake up and tell me you love me again." She cried. She felt a hand touch her cheek. "Don't cry Evan! I Love you!"

Chapter 15

Evangalyne looked up and saw those beautiful blue eyes looking at her with love and concern. "Oh thank god,' she said, "your awake!" "How long have I been asleep?" JC asked wiping the tears from her eyes. "Almost a month." she answered, holding his hand as if it were the holy grail. "I was so scared JC, I thought I was gonna lose you!" "Never." he said, taking his hand from hers and placing back on her cheek. "I love you JC." she said taking his hand and kissing it. "Where is everyone else?" he asked. "Just outside, I'll go get them." She said getting up. "No they can wait. Come here." He said opening up his arms. She got in the bed with him and laid her head on his chest. "I love you JC." "I love you too Evan." "JC there is something I need to tell you, I should of told you months ago but I've been to scared." "Evan you can tell me anything." Jc said stroking her hair. "It's about Teddy's father," she said as she felt him tense," I told her the truth about who he is, and she's really happy about it. I want you to be..." "I'm really glad she's happy, but I don't see how..." "JC have you ever looked into her eyes?" Evangalyne asked sitting up to look at him. "I guess so, why are you asking?" "Because she has her father's eyes," she said holding back tears, "think JC who's eyes do her's remind you of?" "I don't know Evan and I don't care. I don't want to hear about your love with someone else." JC said holding back his own tears. "I have never loved anyone but you," she said letting her tears fall, "I've never been with anyone but YOU!" "But Teddy?" He asked confused. "For heaven's sake JC! She is five years old, her birthday is in March, She has your eyes, your hands, and your smile. Your not dumb you do the math."

Chapter 16

"You mean?" JC asked wide eyed. "When I said I loved Teddy's father I was talking about you!" Evangalyne said wiping tears from her eyes. "I'm her..." he said as tears welled up in his eyes. "Yes your her father she's your daughter." Evangalyne said giving up on trying to stop her tears. "She's mine," he asked," she's really mine?" "Yes, I am so sorry. I never thought I would to see you, or deal with all of this," she sobbed," please don't hate me!" "I could NEVER hate you Evan." he said sitting up top face her. "You couldn't?" she asked. "Of course not, I love you no matter what. That includes being scared to tell me the truth." he said as he wrapped his arms around her. "I love you so much JC, I always have. I am so sorry for keeping you in the dark about Teddy." "We have a child. That's nothing to be sorry about." "You always know the right thing to say." Evangalyne said smiling. "It's a gift." JC replied, "So Teddy knows I am her father and she's happy about it?" he asked tenatively. "She asked me, before I told her the truth, if you could be her daddy." Evangalyne answered. "Really?" JC's heart soared. "Yes really." "Ever since you came back, I have wanted her to be mine." JC said truthfully. "I love you so much JC that sometimes it hurts." she told him. "Show me how much you love me." he said with a twinkle in his blue eyes. "That's my line," she laughed, "and you just woke up from a coma." "Your the only medicine I need Evan!" he said as he pulled her down so she was laying on top of him. "Someone can walk in at any moment." She giggled. "Exactly." JC grinned as he brought her lips down to his for a tender kiss. "Your awake!" JC and Evangalyne broke apart to see the guys standing in the doorway. "And playing doctor." chris joked. "Damn." JC swore," I was so looking forward to this examination."

Chapter 17

"Mom, Heather, I finally got Evan to stop crying, so please both of you stop. I am getting all wet." JC joked. "Do whatever you did to get Evangalyne to stop." Tyler suggested. Evangalyne choked on laughter. "That's not a good idea Ty." JC said trying to keep a straight face. "Why not?" Tyler asked. "Probably because if he did it would be somewhat incestuous." Chris smirked. Evangalyne and JC both turned bright red. "There will be plenty of time for THAT when you two get home." "HEATHER!" "Geez mom, remember Teddy, you new, actually only grandaughter. They have obviously done *stuff* before." Heather said exasperated. "Where is Teddy?" JC asked quietly. "Here." Teddy said crawling up onto the bed and looked at her father. "Can I have a hug?" JC asked nervously. He was answered with Teddy flinging herself into his arms. "I am glad your my daddy!" Teddy whispered to him. "So am I," he whispered back, "So am I."

Chapter 18

one month later

"I can't believe he gave you a SAPPHIRE engagemant ring." Sam said. "I can." Evangalyne said looking down at the blue gem on the ring finger of her left hand," what I can't believe is that after six years he remembered my favorite gem." CRASH! "Chris!" the two women yelled. "It wasn't me!" "Theadora Rose Chasez." "It wasn't me either momma, Justin and daddy were playing bally in the house again." "Clean it up you two." Sam and Evangalyne yelled smiling. "If only their fans could see tham now," Sam said," then maybe they would stop trying to get their hands on Justin." "Sam do you really think you have to worry about Timberlake?" "Don't you worry about JC when it comes to all of their fans?" "Oh I am so scared that JC is gonna leave me for a 12 year old." Evanglayne said sarcastically. "Oh my god, " Justin said in a panic as he rushed into the kitchen," I just had a thought." "Congrats." Evangalyne joked. "When you and JC get married I won't be able to call you Monroe." "Timberlake if you stop calling me Monroe I am never gonna speak to you again.."

a week later

"I have taken two of these tests twice in my lifetime and both times the stick turns blue." Evangalyne said to herself as she looked down at the pregnancy test she just took. " I am gonna be one of those women who are pregnant 9 months out of every year, aren't I." "who are you talking to?" JC asked as he walked into the room. "Myself." "About?" "Well, do you remember what happened in this room about two and a half months ago?" she asked. "Yes." JC grinned devilishly. "Hey we said we would wait until after the wedding." She scolded. "Ok then why di you ask?" She answered him by tossing the test at him. He picked it up and looked at it. "You...we..." "Pregnant." she finished for him. "we are gonna have a baby?" He asked. "Yep. So what do we do?" "Well," he said thinking, "we move the wedding up and discuss the pros and cons of natural childbirth?" he said beaming. "Your happy about the baby and what do you mean WE?" "Euphoric and why not we?" he answered. "I have been through childbirth before, and they are so knocking me out. You may want to leave the room though when they give me the epideral." "Why?" he asked. "Because it's one big ass needle."

Chapter 19

"JC where are we going?" Evangalyne asked as he led her with his hand over her eyes. "JC we are supposed to be getting married to day and you have kidnapped me in my wedding dress without shoes and is this sand?" She asked as she felt the tiny grains move between her toes. "If I told you that it would ruin the surprisse." JC answered. "Well I know it is because I can now hear the ocean." she said. "Ok are you ready?" JC asked. "Do you really need and answer?" she asked as JC removed his hand. " Surprise Momma surprise." Teddy yelled. "Oh my god." Evangalyne said with tears in her eyes. they were in their special cove and everyone was there. "I thought that getting married where it all started would be fitting." JC said taking a hold of Evangalyne's hand.

"Evangalyne Chasez," Christel said hugging her friend," I like that name it suits you." "NAMES," Evangalyne stated looking at JC, "we need to think of names." "Huh?" Joey asked pouring champagne. "Well...Um..."JC said, "wait Joey she can't drink that." "Why not?" Joey asked as he stopped himself from pouring Evangalyne a glass of champagne. "No FRICKIN way?" Chris yelled. "CHRIS!" many voices rang out. "Don't you get it? She's pregnant!" he laughed. "Again!" "What do you mean again, I have only been pregnant once before. And it's been six years." Evangalyne stated. "You to haven't been alone, except that night we all went to ...OH" Lance said. "I'll pretend I didn't hear that." JC's mom said causing JC and Evangalyne to turn red. "Does that mean that I am gonna have a little brother or sister?" Teddy asked sitting in JC's lap. "Yes Teddy bear it does." "Cool."

Epilogue

"She most certainly will NOT be going on a date." JC yelled. "JC she's 15 years old, Teddy is old enough to date." Evangalyne laughed at her husband of 10 years. "15 is WAY to young." JC argued. "What do you think would be a good age?" Evanglayne asked amused. "I don't know..30, 35." he said as Evangalyne burst out laughing. "Why is this funny?" he asked in all seriousness. "I started dating when I was 15." Evangalyne stated. "And how did you turn out, you were pregnant at 17." "Hey YOU were the one that got me pregnant, and I think I turned out real well. I have a beautiful home and a good career. I have 5 wonderful children. and I have you." She said kissing him. "Well when you put it that way."
