Chapter 12

“Liz isn’t talking to me!” Jonathan said sitting the edge of a bed. “She needs to se how much she needs you.” Katya said sitting next to him. “Annalynn she thinks I’m falling in love with you.” Jonathan said quietly as he moved closer to her. “ Your in love with Liz, not me. Your not falling in…somethings wrong.” Katya said. “that’s not the line.” Jonathan said confused. “I know but somethings wrong. I feel it.” “Katya!” Rebecca yelled running on the set. “What’s wrong is it Fiona?” she asked with fear in her eyes. “No, there’s been a car accident.” Rebecca answered. “Is it Jeff?” Jonathan asked. “No.” “Well then who?” he asked squeezing Katya’s hand. “You don’t have to tell me I know.” Katya said getting up. “I’ll drive you.” Rebecca said. “Thank you,” Katya replied, “Dear God please let JC be all right.”

“Jeff what are you doing here?” Katya asked as she ran into the hospital with tears streaming down her face. “I knew you would be.” “Where’s Fiona?” “Nick and Drew have her.” “Oh good she shouldn’t be here. JUSTIN!” She shouted as she saw him appear. “Katya.” He said hugging her tightly. “How is he?” “Not good. He keeps going in and out of conciseness. The doctor says he’s goingto get a fever and become delerious, they don’t know yet if he’ll make it.” “Can we see him?” She asked with a sob. “No not yet.” “So we wait?” “We wait.”

Chapter 13

“I’m his mother. I am giving you permission to allow these five people to see him!” Karen shouted at the doctor as she waved a piece of paper in his face. “Karen it’s okay. There just doing what they believe is best for Josh.” Katya said leading her to a chair. “You’re the only other person besides family that calls him that. That alone makes you practically a member of the family,” Karen said tearfully, “I don’t want to lose my baby boy.” “I know, I know. Trust me I know.” Katya said holding Karen in her arms.

“Katya I want you to come home!” Jeff shouted at her in the lobby as Justin asn Lance watched carefully. “I’m going anywhere till he wakes up.” She yelled back. “What if he never does!” “Don’t say that!” she screamed terrified at the thought. “and if he does wake up are you going to celebrate by sleeping with him.” He yelled shaking her. “Go to hell!” she slapped him. “Let her go Jeff.” Justin said in a quiet but strong tone as he put a hand on Jeff’s shoulder. “Excuse me,” the doctor said walking in, “Mr. Chasez keeps asking about a cat. Does anyone know what that is all about?”

“Kat? Kat? I want Kat.” JC said as he thrashed about in his delirum. “I’m here Joshie, I’m right here and I’m not leaving till you get better.” She said patting his face. “Kat?” “Yes?” “I love you.” He said calming down. “I know.” She said with a sob.

“Jeff!” Roxy said in shock as she opened her door. “Make me forget Rox. Just please make me forget.” He said kissing her passionately.

Chapter 14

“His fever broke!” the doctor told the relieved group of people who were waiting outside JC’s room. “I’ll go phone Lou.” Lance siad heading down the hall. “And I’ll go tell the family.” Karen said following Lance. “Can I see him?” Katya asked.

“Hey there, you had us all pretty scared.” Katya smiled as she sat on the edge of his bed. “Sorry I didn’t mean for you to worry.” He said. “Of course not you didn’t get hit by a car on purpose. Did you?” She asked teasing him. “No, how long have you been here?” “All week.” She answered. “That long?” “Yes that long are you okay?” “Yes, but Fiona probably misses you and you should be with your husband.”

Chapter 15

One month later

“Well we’re set for meals for the next week or two.” Katya said putting the last of the dinner she spent hours cooking in the fridge. She heard the door open. “Where were you?” She asked angrily. “With a friend. What’s got you so ticked off?” Jeff asked as he climbed the stairs. “If you don’t know then you’re one hell of a husband.” She spat as she followed him. “I’m not the one having an affair with my best friend.” Jeff yelled as the door to their room closed behind her. “I would certainly hope not Drew’s and Nick’s girlfriend’s wouldn’t appreciate it, not to mention the fans.” She yelled sarcastically. “Very funny, keep it down you’ll wake Fiona.” Jeff scolded. “She’s not here, she’s with Chantel.” She spewed. “Why?” “Chantel thought we could use sometime to ourselves to night.” “Why tonight?” he asked. “Oh I don’t know. Maybe because it’s our anniversary.” She screamed. “Oh my god I totally forgot.” Jeff said in shock. “For someone who is so self-righteous about this marriage you sure not trying very hard to make it work.” She stated angrily as she turned to leave. “I was with Roxy.” Jeff said quietly. “You mean sleeping with?” “No, not tonight!” Jeff exclaimed. “But you have?” she asked strangely hurt. “Yes when JC was in the hospital.” Jeff answered with shame. “I can’t believe you! I’ve been faithful to you our whole marriage. It wasn’t easy but I did it. I gave up a lot for our family,” She screamed as she walked towards the door with tears streaming down her face, “Oh by the way,” she said turning to him,” JC is way better than you in bed!”

Chapter 16

“Stupid son of a bitch. Accuses me of cheating when he’s the one scewing around,” Katya sobbed as she walked in the pouring rain, “I gave up JC to marry him. I lost the man I love, now I’m losing my husband. What the hell am I going to do?” Her mid didn’t know, but her heart did.

“Please be home.” Katya sobbed as she knocked on the door. The door opened and she spoke, “JC help me please.”

“Thank you.” Katya sniffled as JC wrapped a towel around her as she sat on the sofa. “What happened?” JC asked. “I’m just so confused. Jeff cheated on me. But that doesn’t really hurt or bother that much.” She answered. “Then what is?” “I’m not sure, I ‘m not sure about anything anymore. Like how the hell I got here.”

“It’s going to be okay.” JC said. “Why am I always coming to you when I have a problem?” She asked quietly. “We’re friends.” He answered. “No we’re not.” She said. “What?” “We’re more than friends, that’s part of my problem.” She answered as JC stood up and paced the floor. “Do you love Jeff?” “Yes, but I’m not IN love with him. I fell out of love with him more than a year ago. I left you and married him because I thought I owed him and because I thought it was best for Fiona. But I’ve been miserable, which makes Jeff miserable. He accuses me of cheating then he goes out and does it. I was always faithful to my marriage, but by being faithful to Jeff I was unfaithful to myself and my daughter.” She said. “What do you mean?” He asked. “I thought my happiness didn’t matter, but it does.” “What makes you happy?” “Fiona…and being with you.” She stated looking him in the eye. “Kat.” “JC I know what I should do now, I think I’ve known for awhile but felt guilty for wanting it. I don’t anymore. I need to know something first. You asked me this awhile ago.” She said. “What?” he asked standing in the middle of the floor. “Josh do you still love me?” “You know I do.” “Say it.” She whispered standing up and walking to him. “I love you Kat!” “Thank god!” she whispered as she dropped the towel and put her arms around him in a kiss that said it all.

Chapter 17

“I’m through sacrificing my happiness. I’m going after what I want,” Katya said breaking away, “ and what I want in you.” “You mean it?” JC asked with emotion in his voice. “Joshie, I’m miserable without you. I was scared to death when you got hit by that car. I love you Josh. I’m ready to fight for this love now.” She said letting tears fall down her already wet face. “I’ll fight for it with you.” He said kissing her tenderly. “Do you know how unbelievably sexy you look in that wet dress?” He asked. She smiled seductively at the compliment. “I think we should follow Annalynn’s and Lucky’s lead.” Katya said. “And do what?” JC asked knowing full well. “This.” She said kissing him passionately. He crushed her to him. Letting her wet clothes soak through his own. “Joshie,” She whispered, “Make love to me.”

“There is no going back!” He said, removing his clothes. “Never.” She said, peeling off her dress and standing before him. “You are so absolutely beautiful. I could stare at you for hours.” He said as he embraced her. “Too bad for you I am a very impatient woman.” She said as they kissed wildly. “No sweetheart LUCKY for me.” He replied laying her down on the bed. “I love you.” Katya said putting her legs around him to pull him down to her. “I love you to.” He said, kissing her all over her body. Katya reeled with happiness at the feeling of pleasure she received in JC’s touch. His hands explored every inch of her. Hers in turn explored every inch of him. He moaned at the sensations her lips caused as she placed kisses along his strong chest. She gasped as waves of desire and pleasure washed over her as he turned the tables, using his mouth to pay homage to her breasts. “Now!” She moaned, “I want you now!” They kissed heatedly as he slowly entered her, enjoying the feeling of becoming one again. She tightly wrapped her legs around him to get him as close as he could get. Which wasn’t close emough. “Remember no going back.” He whispered as he moved back and forth. “I’m never letting you go again.” She said as she moved with him. “I’ll always love you Kat!” He gasped as he moved faster. “Oh god, oh god, oh god!” She gasped as her pulse quickened with their pace. “No sweetheart JC!” He said kissing her. “Haha very fun-OH MY GOD!” She gasped as she felt her body begin to pulsate. “KAT!” He gasped feeling himself about to explode inside her. “JOSHIE!” She screamed as her back arched. Her world exploding into pure pleasure.

Chapter 18

“What are you doing?” Jeff asked as Katya put hers and Fiona’s bags in the trunk of her car. “What I should of done a long time ago.” She answered. “You’re leaving?” he asked shocked. “Yes, Fiona is coming with me.” “Where are you going?” he asked. “Home.” She smiled. “To Maryland! Your taking Fiona away to Maryland?” He yelled. “No, calm down. I’m not going to Maryland and I’m not taking Fiona away from you. I’m going to JC’s.” she told him. “Do you love him?” Jeff asked not looking at her. “As much as I love Fiona! I realize now she can have both parents and I can have JC.” She answered, looking at Fiona sitting in her carseat. “What happened to us? We used to be so in love.” Jeff said opening the car door for her. “You died and I lived through it.”

Chapter 19

Six months later

“Happy Birthday Fiona!” The large group of people yelled as the 2 year old blew out the candles on her cake. “I find it odd that Jeff’s and Katya’s divorce becomes final on their daughter’s birthday.” Chris commented. “At least everyone has gotten over any ill feelings towards each other.” Drew said kissing Katya on the cheek. “Sorta strange how we are all friends now.” Roxy said from Jeff’s lap. “I’m euphoric. Kat and I can get married now.” JC said watching Katya laugh as Fiona played with her cake. “I agree with my son,” Karen said, “I don’t want my grandchild born out of wedlock.” “MOM!” “Karen!” JC and Katya yelled. “Your pregnant?” Nick, Jeff, Roxy, Drew, Justin J., Joey, Chris and Lance asked in shock. “They didn’t know?” Karen asked. “Only my doctor, JC, me, you, Kim, Chantel and Justin knew.” Katya explained to her future mother-in-law. “Why do you guys always know before any of us?” Lance asked his fiancée, Kim and Justin. “We’re really observant.” Chantel answered for Herself and Justin. “I’m always around when someone lets it slip.” Kim said. “Well congrats.” Jeff said sincerely. “Do you mean that?” JC asked. “Yes. Months ago I would have been lying, but just want the two of you to be happy.” Jeff stated. “You know,” Chris said, “ I wonder how things would of turned out if Jeff hadn’t died?” “We will never know.” Katya said draping herself over JC as he sat in a chair. “Thank god!” JC stated, pulling Katya into his lap for a kiss.

Epilogue

“Push Kat! Come on Push!” JC coached his wife. “Talk about déjà vu!” Katya spat sarcastically. “Very funny now push.” “Oh shut up you ass!” She screamed through a contraction. “Katya!” “Hey this time YOU di help put me here so I can yell at you all I want.” She said as she pushed. “Do you know what day it is?” JC asked. “The day our child is being born. Duh!” She said. “Besides that.” “I don’t care. I’m giving birth to our ch-OH ow, ow, ow, ow!” she said as she pushed through a contration. “It’s the twentieth anniversary of the day we met!” He told her. She smiled at him lovingly, “Joshie, sweetie, we’ll talk later. When I’m not pushing a life form out of my body.”

“Daddy Josh, Daddy Josh!” Fiona said from her spot on the edge of her mother’s bed. “Hey Fiona! What do you think of your new baby brother?” JC asked his stepdaughter as he held his son in his arms. “Fiona thinks that Joshua Jr. is…” Katya started to say. “Mine baby.” Fiona quipped. JC laughed. “Fiona tell Daddy josh what you said earlier.” Katya instructed her daughter. “Love Daddy Josh!” Fiona said opening her arms for a hug. JC put Joshua Jr. in Katya’s arms and wrapped Fiona in his, “I love you to sweetie.” Then he looked at Katya who was holding their son and mouthed, “I love you Kat!” “I know I love you to.” She smiled. “I love you.” JC said bending down to kiss the top of his son’s head and he held Fiona. “Did everyone go home?” Katya asked. “Uncle Chris stay.” Fiona said. “I think what Fiona was saying was everyone but Chris.” JC explained. “Why? What is he doing?” Katya asked with amusement. “Passing out cigars...to the whole hospital.”
