Chapter 10

Aislinn slowly opened her eyes. "Where am I?" she asked. "St. Judes." someone answered her. She turned to look at who had spoken to her. "Katie? What are you doing here?" Katie smiled at her," Just because you and James aren't together anymore doesn't mean I am no longer your friend." "What happened to me?" Aislinn asked. "You passed out cold." A male voice said. aislinn turned to see Justin. "I what?" "You were out for like a few hours." Lance said. "I knew you liked to sleep but that was ridiculous." chris tried to lighten the mood. "Where's JC?" "He's out talking to the doctor." Joey answered her. "Is something wrong with me?" she asked scared. "Not as far as we know that's what JC is trying to find out." Lance answered. "I can't believe I fainted on live television." Aislinn moaned. "Don't worry, It looked really gallant with JC catching you and picking you up in his arms and all." Chris said. "Um speaking of live television," Katie said, " James and Chrissy were watching from Wilmington." "And your point is.' Aislinn asked unaffected. "Well James called and was a little mad." "So." "Well Chrissy called too she was worried about you." "Let her worry." Aislinn said with pain in her eyes. JC and the doctor came into the room. "Miss Jackson your awake." the doctor said. "Ya think." Aislinn answered, "So doc, " chris asked, "what's up with Aislinn? why did she faint on live tv?" Aislinn looked over to JC and smiled at him. He didn't smile back. "Well to get a better picture of what's going on I need to ask Miss Jackson a few questions." the doctor said. "Ask away." Aislinn told him. He looke daround the room at all the faces. "You can ask me infront of them," she said then looked at Chris with humor in her eyes and a smile on her face," i mean we are practically family." "Well if it's ok with you. When was the last time you menstrated?" Aislinn turned slightly pink," Um about four months ago, whoa it's bee that long!" Aislinn answered not yet comprehending. "And the last time you had sexual intercourse?" the doctor asked. Aislinn turned purple with embarrassment. "The week I found my fiance and sister in bed together." "Which was?" "About a little over three months ago. Why are you aking me this?" "Well Iam trying to find out more to what I already know." the doctor answered. "Which would b...Oh my god...No" Aislinn responded finally getting what the doctor was about to say. "From my tests and the questions I just asked you I would say your about three and a half months pregnant. And considering that the last person you were intimate with was your Ex- fiance that this isn't good news."

chapter 11

two weeks later

"Hey Aislinn, how are you feeling?" Lance asked as he, Justin, Joey and Chris walked onto the bus. "Physically or emotionally?" she asked. "JC's still not talking to you?" Justin asked. "I don't blame him." she said. "Why not you should." Chris said. "He's hurt and doesn't know how to deal with this." Joey said. "What Joey said." Aislinn answered. "So have you talked to Chrissy and James yet?" Lance asked. "I've talked to James, Chrissy was a little upset." "What did he say?" "That he would pay child support but that was all he would do." "What a JERK!" JC said form the doorway of the bus. Everyone turned to look at him. "If it was mine I would do more than pay child support, I would be there anyway I could. But it's not mine." "JC I am so sorry." Aislinn said with tears forming in her eyes. "Don't be sorry," he said he went to stand in front of her, "it might not be mine but I am going to be there for this baby." "NOW she's really gonna cry." Chris said. "Those are the most wonderful words I have ever heard." she said. "Actually I was think that these three words are the most wonderful words." JC said kissing Aislinn soflty. "Those weren't words." Justin stated. "I love you Aislinn." JC said. "Those were." Lance said. "But there were four of them." Chris said. "I think you maybe right. Those are the most wonderful words I ever heard, but the others come close." Aislinn said as she kissed JC tenderly conveying with her mouth what she wanted to say with words," I love you too." "That's good to know." JC smiled. He smile faded as Aislinn let go of him to clucth her stomach. "Oh my god!" "What?" five voices asked concerned. "I think somethings wrong with the baby." she said bent over and clutching her stomach in pain. "Justin get the van and Lance get on the phone with the hospital tell them we're coming, Joey go find Melinda and tell her what's happening, Chris do what ever you think would be useful." JC said rushing over to where Aislinn had back up with every pain. "Oh god no," Aislinn cried as she looked down at herself. She was covered in blood.

Chapter 12

one and a half months later

"Hey JC, what's up?" Justin asked as he walked into their hotel room. "Not much." JC said staring off into space. Justin just looked at him. "Hey guys what do want to do tonite?" Chris asked as He, Lance and Joey walked into the room throught the open ajoining door. "I would like to go out and hve some fun," Justin said," but I don't want to leave JC when he's like this." Everyone looked at a practically catatonic JC. "He's been like this ever since she left." Lance said. "I still can't believe she disappeared like that?" Joey said. "It's understandable," chris said, "she needs to find a way to cope on her own." "I feel so bad for her." Lance said. "We all do," Justin said, "especially JC." JC still sat on the bed oblivious to the world. "I wonder where she is?" Joey asked. "If I knew I would be with her in a second." JC said still sitting on the bed. "Whoa he speaks." Chris smiled hopefully. JC continued to sit. "As soon as she is able to come to grips with losing the baby. She'll be back." Lance said. "She'll never get over losing her baby," JC said," and rightfully so." "JC I know that, but she will be able to come to terms with it and live her life eventually." JC looked at them with tears falling from his eyes," But a life without me I'm sure."

Chapter 13

"Aislinn Cassiapea Jackson get out of bed and your pj's right this instant." Rose Jackson yelled at her daughter. "Just leave me alone mom." "I most certainly will not your my daughter and I love you." "Mom I just want to be alone." "Aislinn you have been alone for aver a month now, I know it's been hard to lose the baby but you have to get on with life." "Mom you never lost a child, so please don't dish out unwanted advice." Rose looked at her youngest child and could see the pain she was in, "Ok, I'll leave you alone but just know that JC called again looking for you and the next time he or any of the other guys call I am NOT lying about where you are." She said as she walked out the door. A few minutes passed and Aislinn heard her door open again. "Mom, please go away, I love you but..." "It's not mom." "Chrissy!" Aislinn exclaimed and turned around to see her sister standing at the foot of her bed. "Mom told me you were here." "Why do you care?" Aislinn asked coldly. "Because your my sister and I love you." YOu love me so much you slept with then married my fiance." "I know what I did was wrong, but I love James." Chrissy said with tears in her eyes. "Do you REALLY?" Aislinn asked sitting up to look Chrissy in the eyes. "Yes, when I found out you lost the baby I was so heartbroken. I was going to love that baby so much." Chrissy said letting her tears fall. "But James didn't want anything to do with the baby." "Not entirely, he just didn't know what to do. But I was going to love so much becuase it was part of James and part of you." "You really do care don't you." Aislinn said looking at her sister in shock. "I just wish that I had never fallen in love with James and slept with him, Then you and he would be married and you would still be pregnant and happy." chrissy said. "I don't." Aislinn told her. "What?" Chrissy asked shocked. "If you hadn't I wouldn't of fallen in love with JC." "You really love him?" "Yes, love him it hurts so much, I just wanna be with him." Aislinn answered. "Then why aren't you." Chrissy asked. "I didn't want him to see how much pain I was in." "Did you ever think he would understand your pain?" chrissy asked. "Yes, but it's not his problem it's mine." "But maybe he can help you heal, in the words of one character you played, *Love is the best medicine*." Aislinn looked at Chrissy. "I do believe you might be right." Aislinn said as she got out of bed and headed out the door. "Are you going to find JC?" "No, to take a shower then find JC."

Chapter 14

"Ok guys thanks for the session, but it's gonna get dark soon so we won't be able to take anymore photos." The photographer said as he packed up his stuff and left the beach. "Well I'm ready to go, how bout you guys?" Justin asked looking at the guys. "I think I'll stay for awhile and enjoy the view." JC said sitting down to look at the waves crash. "Suit yourself." Chris said as he and joey took off running for the van. Jusitn and Lance looked at each other then JC, "JC were not gonn leave you here." "Come back for me after you guys get some food, don't worry I'll be fine." He said without looking at them. "JC..." "Justin just go ok." He said then turned to see them leave. A few minutes pass and he hears footsteps behind him, "For heaven's sake go away, I'm not going to drown myself in the ocean." He said not looking at who was behind him. "I would certainly hope not, I have had enough heartache for one year and do you really want me to go away, it took me forever to track you down." JC froze at the sound of her voice,"Aislinn." he whispered. "Yes JC it's me." She said sinking to her knees besides him. He looked at her, "Or you okay?" He asked. "NO, and I don't think I ever will be." He looked down at the sand," did you come here to tell me that?" "No I came to get as okay as I can, and I don't think I can do it without you JC." "What do you mean?" He asked looking into her eyes. They were so full of pain and grief and love and longing that it broke his heart yet mended it all at the same time. "I need you JC, I love you and I can't get through this without your love." she said placing her hand on his cheek. He placed his over that hand. "I love you too Aislinn." He said. Aislinn leaned over and brished her lips across his. "You taste like the ocean." they said to each other. "I am so glad you came back." JC said before he kissed her in the most loving tender kiss imaganalble. "I didn't come back, I came home."

Epilogue
a few years later

"Sweetie is that you?" JC aksed as he heard the door open and close. "No it's your other wife." Aislinn said as she walked into the room. "You have more than one wife?" Joey asked, "I was joking Joey, at least I hope I was." Aislinn said looking down at her husband, who was sitting on the couch playing cards with the guys. "You were joking." Jc said as he pulled her onto his lap. "Good I would hate to have to kill you." She said giving him a kiss. "So where were you if I may ask?" Chris asked Aislinn. "I was at the doctor's." she answered hiding her smile. "Is everything all right?" Lance asked. "It was just a check up right?" JC asked looking at his wife with worry. "Yep just a check up." Justin noticed her attempts not to smile, "What's going on?" he asked. "what do you mean?" she aksed biting her lip. "Do you know something we don't?" Lance asked. "Maybe." she said trying not to giggle. "Sweetie what do you know?" JC asked grinning at her. "Something." "What?" Chris asked. "Does it have something to do with the doctor?" Joey asked. "Yes." Aislinn said as she desperatelay tried not to giggle. "The doctor gave you good news what is it?" JC asked. "Guess." "I don't want to guess, just tell me." said with a look in his eyes that told her if she didn't he was gonna tickle her. "think JC what kinda GOOD news can a doctor tell me?" she said as she looked lovingly at him with her blue eyes. "I don...YOU MEAN...WE'RE..." JC said looking at Aislinn in Happy astonishment. "What?" four voices asked. "Let's just say it's 995 probable that he or she will have brown hair and blue eyes." Aislinn said running her hands through JC's hair. "You mean you guys are gonna have a baby?" Joey asked. "DUH!" Justin, Lance and Chris turned to him. "A baby, our baby?" JC whispered. "Yes, our baby." Aislinn whispered back. "GOD I LOVE YOU!" JC shouted as he kissed Aislinn passionately. "If you guys don't stop that you.. oh wait to late nevermind." Chris said as he watched JC pick Aislinn up and carry her into the bedroom. "I guess this means she's not making us dinner tonight."
